you take an average family today in the community with four kids in any one of our major yeshivas and their tuition bill is are excess of $70,000 it cost a fortune to run a school to pay teachers to pay rabbis to give them the proper raises that they need and all the other expenses that go into operating a Class A Yesa education for our children our greatest commod the course of tuition has gone up year after year and it has been a struggle for many families to afford to send their children to the Shiva in tuition plays a major role in the financial pressure of our community members I've been involved with the hel yiva for 30 years excellent Education costs money each year we have to raise tuition and we can continue to raise the price if families cannot afford tuition the tuition crisis today is affecting the family not only in their pocket but also in their mental health in their General Health in their kids mental health it's something that as a community I don't see any reason why we can't figure out a way to at least help that challenge [Music] entera CA was started originally with the idea of coming up with a solution for the the community it's been a process for over 3 and 1/2 years with the support of the community we could come up with a program that can help every family in the community it's $100 per month per person equaling $1,200 a year we have 15,000 people in our community that sign up to this program so the reduction per child would be $2,500 if we hit 30,000 people then the reduction will be 5,000 per child we are stronger as a team than we are as an individual in the analysis that CIFA has done the only way that this is going to work successfully is that if everybody everybody in this community digs deep into their pocket we are not talking about the full tuition payers we are talking about the grandparents that no longer have the burden we are talking about newlyweds that don't have children or just have their first child it's all of us what we're doing is this is a big Bank we're making a deposit so that the withdrawal is going to be that much bigger for all of our children once you sign up and you give your credit card we will not charge you until we reach the first step of our goal once we get 15,000 signups we will immediately give you a credit for $2500 per student when we get to 30,000 signups we will give you a $5,000 credit this will be a phased in credit it's incumbent upon us our entire Community to help these families it's been an issue for many many years and we hope that the solution would be forthcoming so these families can rest at ease that they can send their children to Yeshiva and live a strong healthy Jewish life within the community the kids the best kids in the school but father can be the tuition sign up please $100 in the month and sign and everything be well and everybody be help this community CA would be a great solution to help our families to afford tuition CA will work if all of us get together deal Manhattan Brooklyn Florida anywhere CA is going to make history and make tuition affordable to our community we as community members need to stand behind CIFA we are as one and when we act together we are very powerful you're doing it for the Next Generation [Music]
