SCF - Jack Cayre

We're very fortunate to be part of this community here in Brooklyn. Our community is really flourished today. However, everything is really at stake. We have been facing tides on the political side that are threatening the very existence of our organizations. There are tax bills that are being introduced that would take away potentially taxexempt status from our synagogues. they would be challenging our [music] ways of life. And it's really incumbent upon us now at this time to step up as a community and to [music] do what this community affords every single citizen to do, and that's to vote. Over [music] the last few voting cycles, our community has stepped up more than before. But in reality, when you take a look at the numbers, it's not enough. There's a lot [music] more that we could do. With Hashem's help, we'll see success in our community of having a political climate that is going to continue to allow us to exist and to uh live the lives the way that we have been enjoying for so many years. Now is the time. I'm urging everybody, please take a few minutes out of your day. It's very easy to do. There's no excuse for anyone not to do it. Go vote. Make a difference.
