Mikdash Melech Impact Feature Video

You know, one of my greatest moments of pride is when we I meet an alumnus maybe 5, 10 years after he left the Yeshiva. He's a young man, whether he's studying in college, whether he's a teacher in a community school, whether he's in business, whether he's a professional, >> [music] >> and he tells me, "Mikdash Melech set me on my path for life." >> So, I had three boys go to Mikdash Melech, and all three went in as boys, and all three came out as men. [music] You know, the seeds were planted. The seeds were planted in in elementary school and in high school, but now they really needed to be watered, and they needed to sprout. And Mikdash really waters that that that plant >> [music] >> and makes it a tree. >> It really sets up a person in the in for his future, and it has an impact on his family, on his marriage, >> [music] >> on his day-to-day life. >> My years in Mikdash taught me how it is to be a true ever Hashem. Sitting down with Rabbi Maimon, and I had the opportunity to learn with him one one-on-one once a week for 30 minutes. [music] And he taught me he changed that how to come out to be an ever Hashem, to do what Hashem wants me to do. >> Every single boy, if you're a businessman, you're a community leader, if you're in the medical field, in the chinuch world, helm of an institution, an administrator, a doctor, every single [music] person, one way or another, went into Mikdash and saw a significant impact on their lives. >> I think Mikdash impacted every person that went there. You know, you don't go there and not get impacted, and it's really [music] such an unbelievable place. >> I think that the Sephardic community doesn't have that many options, [music] you know, for Yeshivas, only, you know, compared to the Ashkenazim. And what Mikdash offers is that [music] they're able to give you that serious type of learning with the rabbeim that love and care for you, but also offer that kosher outlet [music] where the boys feel like they're in a healthy atmosphere and they're able to grow, which is a necessity to have the love and the care from the rabbis, >> [music] >> which is something you need in order to accept the learning. >> The rabbis really took you in as a son and they really helped you grow and become a better person and really was always [music] there for you every second of the day no matter what was going on. >> We have halacha, you learn musar, gemara, and all these things you [music] take with you in life to use in whatever field you're going to, whether you're learning, whether you're working, you're going to always [music] use those values that you learned during that time you were in Mikdash. >> Which is one of the main reasons that people [music] keep pushing their children to go. >> The way I went in was straight from high school >> [music] >> as a regular high school boy and really leaving Mikdash really helped me learn better, grow, become closer to Hashem and better myself. And it was really such an unbelievable [music] place. >> When I was in Israel last year with the Iran war, it was tough, it was rough, but it was ultimately I could say that it was the greatest sense of learning that I gained in a sense just because we got to have the ability to deal with challenges and to deal with things that we don't like to deal with. >> So, I want to thank Rav Chaim Ben Oliel and Rav Avraham Ben Oliel for accepting me in [music] Yeshivat Mikdash Melech. >> I owe them my my life. They really helped me grow and become a better eved Hashem and really a better person and [music] bezrat Hashem I could give that over to my children all thanks to Mikdash. >> I would definitely advise any person that wants to put their child into Mikdash Melech that should be one of [music] the first options that they should be doing. >> This couldn't be possible without of course my father's uh leadership and his foresight in founding Mikdash Melech 38 years ago. Hashem give him long life and good health to continue leading Mikdash Melech. Our rabbis teach us kol hamelamed et ben chavero Torah k'ilu yelado. If one teaches his friend's child Torah, it's as if he gave birth to him. That is indicating the tremendous impact that a rabbi has on a on a student that is not just for now and here. It's for life and it's for generations. [music] It's for eternity. The same can be said about the supporters of Torah. It's our supporters [music] are full partners in our work. And for them, too, the impact is for eternity. The reality is that although we charge tuition, most parents cannot afford full and many cannot even afford half and quite a few cannot afford at all. It's without a question that without the generosity of the community and of generous people, [music] we would not be able to do what we do. The impact that you're going to be making is for generations. We cannot do it without you. We're proud to offer you this opportunity to become our partners in eternity to make the impact on the next generation that has been making for thousands of students for almost four decades. We need your help more than ever and we know that with your [music] help, we can continue to do what we've been doing for so many years.
