Mikdash Melech - A Message from Harry Adjmi

To all my community fellow supporters of Torah, I'm speaking to you today on behalf of Mikdash Mele, an institution in Israel that if you can believe it or not, has been under the leadership of Rabbi Hayim Benol and his son Rabb Abraham for 37 years now. Young men have been finishing their high school studies and spending a year not just abroad but a year in Israel. In some cases, they went on to stay for a second year. And I think that Mikdash Melik is very unique in what they do, what they've accomplished, and what they continue to support our young men that I've heard so many numerous stories about guys that were lost, that were on the side of the road, that didn't know where they were going. They finished high school. They were confused and they ended up enrolling in mikdash for the year. They came back studying Torah, going back into work, building their careers, and we have thousands of young men over the 37 years that have crossed that path at MCDash. I think that's an incredible feat. On June 8th, there's an event. It's a fundraiser that's going to go on for 37 hours. As all of you know, no institution can run without money. Money is something that is necessary for their budget, for their shortfall, for operations. In this case, we're hoping to also do incredible, tremendous renovations that I am at the forefront with Rabbi Heshi, Rabbi Araham, and the team that is supporting us to make sure that the young men that end up going to Israel that choose to go to Mikdash are going to have the greatest experience, the greatest year of their life. And we want them to have it in the best setting. We want the best rabbanim to teach them and to show them the way of our Torah, to show them Jerusalem and all of Israel, to give them that experience because there is nobody more important to me than our youth as they come back to our community because they are our future. They are the ones that are going to end up taking over and they're the ones that end up giving back. And one day all of those young men will be up here asking you to please support on June 8th. It's a worthy cause. It's a cause near and dear to my heart. Thank you everybody. God bless you for giving Saddaka from all of your hearts. To all my fellow community members, supporters, friends, and students, and alumni of Mikdash Jerusalem, on June 8th, we will be having a fundraiser, Mikdash Impact. Our goal is to raise a million dollars. The money is being used to subsidize the tuition costs for the students so they should be able to go and spend that critical year in in in Jerusalem. Thank God our community has been supporting us for the past 37 years in Jerusalem and even beyond that back to 1972 when my dear father may live and be well founded the very first post high school yeshiva in the sphartic community and continues to to lead us and guide us today. You've been tremendously supportive and we call on you for your continued support so we can do our holy work for the community members for the youth of our community.
