[Music] i'm megan david shiva our primary goal is to think about what our graduates would look like when they graduate high school today if you look at any of our community institutions they're all led and headed by mag and david alumni we believe very strongly in giving the proper tools so that they could apply those skills leadership skills giving skills in any facet if it's their family life if it's social life if it's a business life and if it's community life these are things that we instill in our students from working back all the way to early childhood and continuing to maintain this sense of understanding of who they are growing up in the community because all the skills and love and network and foundation that's built here lasts a lifetime at mag and david we're cutting edge mag and david is known not only to get it done but to get it done right our early childhood as an example is a reggio inspired atmosphere we give the proper tools to keep enhancing that program and that model found middle school students were very excited to introduce to them a new program an elective program where students have an opportunity to choose the ones that speak most to them we hired an educational consultant who's built and created platforms for countries and states she's helping us enhance our metrics and our ability to assess every student and teacher so that they could grow to their fullest potential we're here to educate people we're not here to just teach subjects across all our departments we have a stellar staff our rabbis are front and center in everything that our community stands for and we're privileged to have them as part of the magna david ishiga family and i know that for our parents and fellow students to have that connection that's built from the day-to-day teaching within the classroom on to seeing them on shabbat and holidays it's something that lasts for a lifetime in the recent weeks more and more families have asked to come see our building i believe rabbi sivan and his new administration i believe having rabbit's bias at the forefront i believe our board is ever more engaged and ready and connected one of the greatest aspects of being a yeshiva that's been involved in education for 75 glorious years is understanding that we're so much more than just a school we're a family a few months ago we had the opportunity to welcome the chief rabbi of israel so i was there and i was able to get that sense of love and belonging and i watched the smiles of the kids and the enthusiasm of the teachers and i said this is meg and david looking forward to our family growing and to many other families to get that sense of who we are as an amazing educational institution but more so a loving family that's ready to embrace the entire community [Music] you
