I came to deal 47 years ago. Hashem with our community growing so big. The Jersey Shore has seen tremendous growth. Our bat are expanding. Our schools are thriving. >> Literally, people are living in all places. Every community, every neighborhood is a growth. There's a new sh popup shu. The growth is tremendous. 47 years ago, the only yeshiva that was in deal was the h yes of hashem and they did a tremendous job and they grew tremendously. Ultimately about 30 years ago we opened up a girls high school just girls a lot of high school and that's also very successful >> with the explosion of what's going on in the town of Deal. There's definitely a need for an additional school. The current schools cannot accommodate what they even have right now. They're they're just blowing out the walls. As a Jersey Shore president of Mag and David of West Deal, I think the more schools that we have in deal, the more people, the more people that we're catering to as a community, this place is going to explode even more lives of all boys high school. Beautiful concept. We have members of the board of H. We have members of the board of Alain. H did a tremendous job of building up deal. Alan did a tremendous job of building up deal. And now this new school of JSY I think will continue that growth where we're going to build up the community in ways that everyone's going to have an education that they grow from and become perfect in >> the lay leadership together with the rabbis got together and said this is something that's necessary at this point. How can we do it? How can we do it at the highest level? >> I'm envisioning an amazing school that's going to produce incredible boys and students. >> Single focus on every single kid. No child left behind. >> The goal of the school is really to give our kids the best possible education that money could buy. >> We would expect a certain amount of these students would become rabbis and others would become business people and make a contribution to the community as well. That's what I would envision and that's what I would hope for >> to come out after the four years of being in the yeshiva have a higher education in order for them to become successful community members. >> We're not looking to cut any corners. We're going to have Torah study that's going to be on the highest level with who going to train these students to learn to read a to understand to understand what toot's problem is. We're going to treat it on the highest possible level when it comes to the learning but we're not compromising general studies. General studies are going to be with AP courses. There's going to be clubs. Everything you need to get into a college is going to be offered to our students. >> And once I heard the plans of what they were doing, I automatically jumped in. I said, "If these rabbis are behind it in creating this school, I knew that this was going to be something special and I don't want to have the opportunity to miss out on something." >> When Rabbi Dan approached me, uh, it was something that excited me. I felt like I needed to jump right into and I was honored to be a part of. >> I thought that would be an amazing, exciting, and unbelievable opportunity for our Jersey Shore uh, to have for our children to send to. When Rabbi Joey Dean reached out to me talk about this new school, the JSY, a boy's high school, I was all for it. It's another option. It's good to have choices. It helps the community that the community will grow out here. >> People see that important people in deal that run different institutions are coming together for the greater good. I think that autity is really special. It's always about the people, right? And you put a collection of amazing people together, great things are going to happen. >> We have the top rabbis of the community, the top lay leaders of the community, we have the top young upand cominging lay leaders of the community. >> Their willingness to be able to be flexible in in how the school is run will allow us to be successful. >> I'm very excited now that I know that this project is actually going to happen. It's a gamecher for everyone in deal. It will allow these young men to build a great foundation for their future. And >> I love the unity and the partnership that we show in the deal community. It's uh like no other. And >> I think with this new school, you're going to even see more explosion, more growth, and we're so excited because we're ready for it. >> I don't think anybody was prepared for the amount of excitement that we're feeling. I mean, tremendous positivity, tremendous amount of people want to come, especially from the new parents that want to get into this school. Um, they're very excited. There's a need for it and they can't wait for its opening. There's no question that anyone who supports this new yeshiva establish a new Makum Torah in the daily area for the Syrian community will be blessed with the blessed are those that uphold the Torah this great Torah there's a blessing they will be blessed to the end of Bye.
