Important Message from Harry Adjmi for the entire community

Shabuat everybody. Good morning. Harry Ame coming to you here on behalf of our community. I'm so delighted that when I look around today from Avenue J to Avenue Z, from McDonald Avenue all the way up to the East 20s, there are synagogues, there are schools. We are a thriving people. And what's most enjoyable for me to see is that today we are all inclusive. We are one community. No matter what school you pray in, no matter which rabbi you study with, no matter what school your children go to, we are all together as one people. I see us as people that have come together either from Brooklyn, Damascus, Haleb. Some may have come from Egypt at a certain point, but today it didn't matter where your families, your parents, your grandparents came from. We are one Syrian Jewish community. We are all together. We have each other's back. We look after each other. All thanks to the leaders of the community and our rabbinet who stands behind us and shows us the way that we should be. So everybody, you should be so proud when you tell anybody anywhere in the world that you come from the Syrian Jewish community.
