[Music] when a person has education they could do anything in life and nobody could take advantage of them for many decades our community has invested time and resources and educating our children we put them in an environment that we feel is safe and wholesome for them for their growth throughout their year however once high school is over we put them in an environment they may not be consistent with our Community Values it's critically important that we provide that environment where it's safe and still gives them the advantages that they need for their future career fair I've been an industry of five Bush my whole life in a beautiful environment and now being in broken College it's an entirely different environment between students teachers definitely something that you have to adapt to which isn't too easy in my own experience the business that we grew up with in my family from the retail world has changed to e-commerce in 10 15 20 years from now it'd probably be another variation of that type of a business and in order to be on the top of your game in competing with the rest of the world you would need the education that the higher education gives you to compete the one area that our community never really attacked until now is the area of a post-high school secular education I'm very excited to hear that for the first time our community is going to have college level courses aimed towards our community in a safe and secure environment we're rethinking how we train our youth for business and careers within our community we're collaborating with tarot and we're utilizing their facilities and teaching staff to offer business courses and career training courses to students in our community we have a state-of-the-art facility conveniently located right on Avenue J and Ocean Avenue got renovated in 2020 from an apartment building to an education facility we have probably enough classrooms to handle five or six hundred people with this program we give students the ability to really cut out all the fat and really focus in on specific courses that really lead them towards a profession that interests them business was something that I've been surrounded from my whole life I didn't want to have to go to college and waste two years essentially to get to two years of what you actually want to learn over here in Focus the fact that they could jump into those courses much sooner and graduate in a year to a year and a half is something very very compelling I think is a great great advantage to students in our community I think it's fascinating that a person could get all the business requirements they need or what they think they need to be successful in the future of course there's a lot of flexible hours to allow the students to intern get all the job training and it gives them the ability to really set their schedule to fit their needs imagine how many great companies and businesses can come out of this when you have people from our community learning about business and career together with camaraderie I heard about focus and I said wow that could be a great opportunity for me to be able to balance some work and school get good education to be in class with you know other members of our community that's very valuable to me and even going to business potentially with some classmates that's something that I don't really have where I am now I am so thrilled to be working with such dedicated individuals to create this programming that is going to be so exciting and meaningful for members of our community provided Community to learn more for more information go to www.focuseducation.us registration is now open classes start September 22 23. I'm definitely considering potentially you transferring to this new program looking to find out a lot more about Focus sounds like an excellent program and something that me and a bunch of my peers can really look into and can be real option 20 years from now I think we're going to look back and say how did our community not have an option like this I hope that everybody will support this and think about sending your children there after they graduate our yeshivas I'm very excited for this program and I wish all the people that are involved behind this effort all the success I wish that this Venture will be a tremendous success we're confident that with the leadership in place it will surely be that way I give everybody that's working on this should be successful foreign
