FJCC Meeting with Andrew Cuomo

Get out to every Orthodox community and have this conversation with them. Go to them. Talk to them. They've already endorsed you. They just need to come out for you. That's on you. They need to come out. We'll do everything we can. You, the candidate, have to pull it out. You have to show them and convince them and and really make them feel like you get them. >> Yes. >> That's the best I could give you. >> Sunday, right? >> Yes. First of all, I don't mind doing exactly what you say, but let's let's even be more honest than that. Uh, this is a relationship that is unique because this is not a political relationship. You weren't just there for me when you're young. You were there for my father in 1977. You were there in 1982 when I was a 24 year old campaign manager for my father and the citic community was his strongest base of support. Mario Cuomo is not governor without the citic community. So that's how far we go back. I understand what happened during CO. I understand how you feel about what happened during CO. Uh we've discussed it at length. I apologized for the way I mishandled it and I would have handled the uh but there was nothing there was no malent disrespect in the end. I understand how misinterpreted uh and I get it and I learned from it. But we have a 45 year history and we have been together. No governor has been better to your community than my father and no governor has been better overall to your community than me. And I want to build on that going forward. and I deeply appreciate our relationship and what you did for me in the primary. Uh, and I deeply appreciate you going to work again in this general and and uh fighting against Mand. I from my heart I appreciate it and I will always be there for your advice. >> Thank you.
