Emahot: Helping Needy Widows

[Music] the most vulnerable amongst us are widows and orphans they're Remembered at the time of the tragedy they have fundraisers for them and campaigns and then unfortunately by the time the year comes so that's it everybody moved on to the next case but the widows are still widows the says call at everywh often we are not allowed to oppress it means that we have to be there for them two women Hashem Jamie Assa and Sh said they're going to do something about it imah seeks to give every Widow a bonus package every month of financial support that they could count on I was personally involved when they started this organization and myah heart gives $500 a month to dozens of Al manot widows in our community this organization was established they take care of the they are approved by the rabbis and other rabbis in the community Jamie has been doing this for years she continues to find the widows that are most need of our support she's taking care of dozens of these widows I know she calls me all the time to vet them out to make sure that it's legitimate the $500 goes a long way it's one bill that they don't have to worry about it's one food order that they don't have to think about it's one payment on a tuition bill that is alleviated I spoken to the widows who received the support they rely on this support it's so special to them that somebody cares about them that they're not forgotten about it's really unbelievable how Jamie my sister-in-law took this upon herself her family my brother they putting their life they putting their time and it's it's unbelievable when it comes to the holiday twice a year PES and they are giving $1,000 these Al manot still have children and grandchildren and they have holidays and everything's expensive just like our bills go up their bills go up it's very important that we give our full support of the $500 a month $6,000 a year so that can go out in a very private Manner and give money to the widows in our community so we cannot go out there and find every almana but they can they can every dollar goes to the almano to the widows and to the orphans God says you take care of mine I'll take care of yours I do believe that anybody that supports IM will have the blessing of God and they'll have the blessing of the Alman Their Blessings are very very significant it comes to a very very deep place and that's what my father tells me and what the torat says there's no greater Mah then support Alman and when a person makes the Alman happy he's like the sh because Hashem himself comes down to take care of the poor and the downtrodden and the Widow and the orphan but partnering with Al manot we're able to imitate Hashem this is a quiet organization but it's one of the most important organizations in our community so please everyone for $500 a month for $6,000 a year we'd like to continue to give our full support behind IM J May the blessing of the good work that's im's doing be upon us and all our families I met
