[Music] My lifeline began to develop with the clear focused reason that we're going to help every Jew in need. Throughout the year, we have different weekends and retreats creating this family of help. And that's what we are. We're a family of help. Kai lifeline is a specialty store. It is not a supermarket of hessid. It is a specialty store that focuses in on illness and on trauma. I attended Camp Sima as a staff member. 2013 as a waiter. 2014 I came back as a counselor. 2016 I came back as a division head. The ultimate goal over the years was to create the sphartic division. working with people who speak your language, who share your beliefs, who are your brothers and sisters and who share in the plight but have solutions for building resilience and perseverance. This makes such an essential difference. Lifeline began purely for altruistic reasons. There was a need primarily at that time over 35 years ago for children with cancer. Seeing the consequences of illness where the entire fiber of the family was suffering the idea of a safari division was throughout my years being involved in K lifeline. I was receiving a lot of phone calls from community members who didn't necessarily understand the work that Kai fun does and how Kifa could support them and in return wasn't really receiving the support that Kifan can contribute and what Kifan can do. We host tremendous amount of programming. So every Sunday we have our girls and boys programming called our Sunday clubs which is for clients and siblings. It's really the main center where families can come meet with our case managers. Families can come discuss the challenges ahead, discuss the support options. There's a very specific need for a communitybased organization with this with the experience and the overall services that is culturally sensitive to what's going on. I was introduced to High Lifeline through a fundraiser. I approached David Jamal to make a parlor meeting in my house and I ended up saying, "Let me go to deal day. I want to see what it's like." And I went and I was just blown away. And as a result, I really got involved and I we pushed and we really did well. I think we raised close to a million dollars that day. And I got to tell you, I don't know what much better cause than High Lifeline. what they do, how they do it, the love, the warmth of the people involved, but especially Rabbi Scholar is somebody very, very special. We're here. We're in the schools. We're in touch with administrators and the principles. We're in the community. Our doors are always open. Highlight Fund's global budget is north of $40 million. The sphartic piece cost us about $1.9 million a year. And that includes everything from the sphartic team, occupancy, our hospital-based services, our homebased services, transportation, catering in the hospital, catering at home, camp Sima. We need to feel an obligation to keep on doing and helping. Kai Lifeline's really a great organization that at the end of the day we all wish didn't exist or didn't have to exist anymore. It'd be a cure and we wouldn't need such a cause. But right now we do and we need the support of the community and just I can't tell you how important it is that everybody open up their heart, open up their pockets and really support this important cause.
