Chabad of the Jersey Shore - Stanley Chera Tribute

[Music] my dad's connection to chabad of the jersey shore really starts with my dad's connection with with khabad in general my dad had a beautiful personal relationship with the rebbe 1987 i first met rebby and i looked into his eyes and i said i'm at the right place that's the feeling i've had for about for the last 30 years i'll never forget the first day stanley entered he entered and never left my father loved all their work all of their effort and believed in their philosophy their approach their practice i believe that if not for stanley's love and generosity and constant encouragement this dream of the beautiful chabad center would not be a reality getting behind label to build a new building was just a matter of how fast can we get it done how great should it be not even a question do we need this and should it exist it needed to exist and my father believed that from day one he was so loyal and committed always looking out for khabad to be more successful and impact more people my father is proud of this building my father i know for a fact is smiling on this building it is nothing less than he expected stanley's influence was far beyond the jersey shore far beyond washington but he never forgot about the people he was always there for others he always wanted to help he never forgot about the small person because by stan lee there were no small people when this young man and his wife opened a tiny little stalk right here and maybe some days they gotta be down maybe some days they didn't it evolved and sucked into such a great institution that will serve the entire jersey shore and new york and brooklyn and everywhere this place is open to everybody but the miracle is that we're here i i know for sure that my dad would want to see the great work here continue from strength to strength from all the great things that will occur here today and tomorrow and into the future i absolutely know with confidence that this is exactly what my father dreamt of when he started this work with label and his his his wishes and his efforts will continue into my and my future generations god willing all that are impacted by chabad's work is really a blessing for the memory of stanley he lives on with all the mitzvoth stanley we all say thank you you live on this building you'll always live on in the center [Music] you
