Aleph - Short Version

In my own life, I transitioned a lot. I transitioned careers twice. I transitioned the way I lived my life. And the only way I was able to get to, I would say, a pinnacle was because of my mentor. [Music] We train any type of individual with any type of experience to have foundational and fundamental skills to be a leader. They then become alif mentors. And once our professionals see that an individual is ready for mentorship, we make the pair. We make a shid that God willing could last a lifetime. What we did was we got a group of guys together. We brought in a chira as a professional to oversee the conversation. And you know, 10 weeks later, we looked around the room and and thought this could really help other people because we saw how much it was it was helping us. >> We're just formulizing a system that community members could reach out to other community members to ask for help, to ask for guidance, to ask for mentorship. >> A mentor is somebody who wants to give back what they already received from Hashem. Somebody who has um some experience that they've gone through that want to give back. >> And that's what Olive is. We take community members, we vet them. AB Cheer, our clinical director, trains them very deeply uh with time-t tested principles. It's mainstream. It's for everyone. It's for me. One big uh core value of Olive is we help people gain clarity. So sometimes just talking to people again when you trust someone, you can talk and you can open up on finances, on relationships, on what you're doing. We help people gain clarity. We basically at Olive, we help people help themselves. So the magic behind Olive is that these mentors are trained by professionals, by our professionals, and that costs money as needed. We bring in coaches, we bring in therapists to make sure the mentor and mentee relationships are a in sync, b are they're the right fit. If the mentee and the mentor are not a right fit for each other, we failed in our job. >> The ideal situation is that a mentee becomes a mentor and is passing it forward. So when you get the right mentor, it can change your life. It can change your life. And that impact will last forever. And people impacted my life that I'll never forget that.
