The surgery is not successful and even if it is successful it it prolongs life by 6 months. That's the like the big and you come out my my sister's getting married a few weeks later and you can barely make it to the it takes a month to recoup. It's a whole thing. And here he is. He's doing five dapim while his wife is waiting to go to surgery. I know it's not posit dear dear rebell I'd like to hear a tangible story about why daf y is so important not just the da why the yi is so important not just the daf I'm about trouvo became in my late teens early 20s today I live what some might call a modern orthodox life on long island southshore my learning background is limited I spent one year arriving there unable to read Hebrew and a few years at sharashv I began learning the daff with mdy dur saned And today they haven't yet completed a full or made it sealed. He never made a seal. No excuses. Life is busy. I run my own law practice and yu have four beautiful children. I've missed a few in each short hurry. This would be my first sem. But despite this days, whether because of court or long hours under a deadline, I've stayed consistent. Every night after minion, I sit down with a big coffee and do my best to learn. Even though I haven't yet completed, I've seen a profound change. Listen to this. Both in myself and in my family, my midas and have all grown stronger and my connection with feels deeper than ever. Making tire study a fixed part of my day has truly transformed my life. Knowing that knowing that I'll spend an hour every day learning, doing my best to understand what I can even if I'm far from being able to lane has bound me to Hashem. My sh has gone from good to great. My relationship with my children has deepened and even my work has improved. I now truly understand why toraum setting aside time to learn purely to connect with Hashem because he's my t and I love him has uplifted every area of my life. To my fellow MD wyers especially newcomers when we feel discouraged by challenging I urge you to look at the of yes we must put our best established to understand the daff but ultimately Hashem gives knowledge. He teaches us exactly what we're meant to learn. Think of the bigger picture. This is about your loving relationship with your father in heaven who sheds tears of joy for every moment you learn.
