When I moved there to I had a terrible story going on in my family, a very very a bad thing that took me out of learning for close to two years and took me it was a lot a lot of money spent. But anyway, one of my kids got into trouble with the law and uh I was very very busy with it with lawyers and this and that. So we went to one of the top lawyers in our district and he looked at the case and he said uh basically he didn't get back to us. He didn't I went to him again in Tel Aiv sat with him no he didn't say no. One day his secretary calls me up and she patches me into him and he says listen is this Ellie? Yeah. I I thought about your case. I can do the case. Actually, if you give me $20,000 cash, I could take care of everything. Everything will go away. I'm doing a deal with the prosecutor and this and that. So, listen. Could could you do a little bit of community service for $20,000? I take care of it. $20,000. So, I already spent hundreds of thousand. Okay. $20,000. I said, "Uh, I'm coming right now. I have the money. I'm coming right now to your office." He says, "Okay, come to my but you know, you don't have to come to my office. You know that the other lawyer that you met over there, whatever his name is, his mom is he lives right next to you in the the mush. He'll come to your house. What do you have to do?" I said, "Okay, fine." As soon as I get off the phone, I said, "Wait a minute." It just didn't the whole thing didn't make sense. So, I call him back. I I go into my phone and I look up his number. I call him back. He picks up said, "Hi." He says, "Hi." What do you mean high? We just smooed. What do you mean high? Like as if he says, 'I didn't smoo. I said, we didn't just have a whole conversation. $20,000. He says, ' Don't give that guy a dime. He's been doing this to me and he he ripped a lot of my clients off. Whoever he is, don't give him the money. So, I go to the police station and I tell them that this guy's trying to rip me off. So, the guy says, "Get out of here. I don't have time for you." He says, "Listen, we're middle to fat or whatever it was then." It was 11 years ago, so look it up. I don't remember what it was. I don't have time for this. We don't have we don't have the the resources. They're all busy, you know, picking people up in the street. I said, "But the guy, he's m ripping people off. The the lawyer told me just ripped somebody $100,000. No, me $20,000." He says, "I can't deal with it." All of a sudden, my phone rings. And it's the guy trying to pick up the money. He says, "Give me the phone." So the detective takes the phone. He says, "Oh, yeah." He says, "Listen, I'm coming. I'm down the block. I'll be there in an hour. I'm here to pick up the money." He says, "Okay." Tells him, "Okay, go." He says, "Go home. Give him the money. Don't worry about it. So, I go home and uh a few minutes before the guy shows up, this big tall cop and this other two cops basically, they come to my house. They said, "What's going on here? Where can we hide?" And they there's a there's a little kitchen there, like a little pesak thing, and they they went into the pes kitchen and then knock on the door. The guy comes into my house. I said, "Sit down." I made him signs. The cops told me to make him signs on side and he starts counting the money. One, two, three. And then all a sudden the doors open up and the cop says, "You're under arrest." So he didn't hear. He goes, "Wait a minute. I'm middle of Hold on a second. I'm middle of counting." And he finished counting the money. I'm not joking. Finishes counting. He says, "You're under arrest in front of the whole neighbor." The whole neighbor took pictures. They took him out and he saw on the news this that anyway. I hope he doesn't watch the share. So that's what the the detective because the detective like I'm not going to we don't have time to bother this. But once he heard oh then there's time to claim that somebody's a we don't do this is also rule number five is that it's only items that are not meant that that are meant to to to lend out and to rent. But if it's something that is not meant to lend, so how do you how are you holding it? Right? So just to explain, I should have said this all in the beginning. If somebody has something on them, he's wearing this suit. He has this Rolex watch. We assume it's his. Now the problem is that we know it was in his possession. Now why is he holding it? Why is it under his coat? So now you have all these different things. If it's something that's he's the type of person to hide then it all go okay something that's meant to people typically lend out what's something that's not think about an item that you would never lend out anybody come up with something no people not you would not but a lot of people a brand new car brand new car I got A toothbrush. What else? A shaver. One of those. Yeah, I know. A shaver something. Yeah, but it's a little How about that rolly? that rolling uh deodorant. All right. You always have that guy that asks you to bush instead. I don't know if I ever said this. Maybe I did. We have to go. How much time? Okay. There's a in the minigas when you leave to America, you sell all your stuff, everything. So, I put up a sign that and you know the big sale is going to happen on Sunday. On Tuesday, this guy calls me up. I said, "No, Sunday." He says, "I can't come Sunday. I have this reason, that reason." Sorry, Sunday. He calls up the next day. I'm a and I this I really need to come. You don't understand. I'm not going to be there and it's and it's good for my future. No. Come on. Sunday kids are on on and you know you start getting these phone calls already. What's going on? Sunday. Sunday he Sunday he comes an hour before everybody else knocks on the door. What did he buy the leftover toothpaste? Cuz I sold the toothpaste. Whatever was left in the that's what he walked out of my house with after calling me 25 times and coming an hour early. He took the little piece of toothpaste cuz it's American. It was an American. It was crest toothpaste. Crest crest toothpaste. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Sh this and it happened to be that pooked everything was missed out that he could come on Sunday right before but he couldn't come when everybody else he had to come to exactly that does help right took out the the the special uh this is not it I think it's a much smaller one but anyway some sort of scissor and the Oh, they used to have they would lend out the it's like a story book stories you say over like used to tell over his kids. I got the stories. So that's something you lend out. You don't lend out. It says in you don't lend out regular regular bend the pages instead. Especially in those days we're talking about then everything was handwritten. What? Why? So he hired a security company. The security guy could also swear that this guy came into the house without permission. Even the security guy's wife can even the wife could swear and and say so and so took something out of my house without permission. What if you hired let's say a carpenter? He was in the house building something in the house and he noticed that the walked that the walked in. He also swear for him or not. Maybe it's a security guy that's there to watch stuff, but we don't really trust the Okay, he told me because of the he comes in. He says, "Listen, you see he took he took my my kdish." No, why would you have this kdish in those days? Why would a guy have a beautiful silver beer? It's not like today everybody has one. This I just I just showed because this is what my wife got me for mash. It's a nice one. Don't ask me why it's a nice one. So, oh, so if then it makes sense that you have one or you're wealthy or people give you things to watch. No, we're talking about the time of the people didn't have the famous. Okay, we're not going to say the people typically will ask him to watch expensive stuff. then it makes sense that you walk out of his house with expensive stuff then makes and he takes it they say in Hebrew taffan how do you say it in English I don't know if there's a good word for that no a guy that has nothing to his name so all of a sudden all of a sudden he has Rolexes that are worth $35,000 a guy a guy has no money right the guy the guy the guy earns $1,000 a month and then he's borrowing money from everybody and then he claims wait a minute he took two Rolexes out of my house and each one's $35,000 I Okay, whatever. Pate Phil, what is it called? Pate Feb, whatever. This watch. It cost $50,000, $90,000. Make a taste of like even today we have something like that. If you're a big kid, you're walking around with these customade suits and the the and what do they call the the the diamond um cufflings and you t that you had a a Rolex watch. They sold it fits. You're a guy. You don't have a car. Yeah. Your shirt is like this. I don't think you have a Rolex watch. Yeah. Okay. Goes by the person. What's the story over here? That a guy claims that he somebody injured him and he wants money for it. A part of his body that that he could injure himself, but if it's a place that he can't injure himself, then he doesn't have to swear that so and so did it. Maybe he injured himself on purpose. People do it all the time to get out of certain things. They tell the police that this, you know, they want a million dollars from the New York City. So they they they hurt themselves. Look, look, the cops did this. What? What happened? Oh, that's he loves this. Oh, we should have shown the the the picture. The guy bit his own elbow. It's impossible to bite your own elbow. He actually did something. He's trying to No, I'm like this. My son Leslie said he could hit his elbow on the ceiling on ch. I said, "If you could hit your elbow on the ceiling, I'll give you $100." He then the whole chabas he's trying to hit his elbow, but he he got this he actually got this close. This close. And I said, I listen if he it's kadai for $100. I want to be able to say my son hit the ceiling. This is not It's at least nine feet this tall. Maybe somebody else bit his elbow. Nobody else there. So if somebody is he constantly swears falsely so the other person swears even on a like say that this table is gold which is awesome. What does it mean? Let me buy. Let me buy a hand of this. Let's say I swear I don't know any any or whatever it is that has to do with somebody losing money. It makes zero difference whether this table is gold or not because you lied once on that that you said this table is gold. We don't trust you anymore. You're a pathological liar when it comes to we don't trust you. How come it's not mentioned the idea of which we learned a lot about where a person says I will eat this bread today at the time of the has to be alive but since it's possible to happen he could eat a loaf of bread or he won't eat then then we don't talk about that that's when he says I will eat I won't eat but if a person says I I I ate in the past which is a lie right now.
