And then we uh heard the very bad news that there was a lot of direct hits direct hits in Tel Aviv in Batyam in where we have family and uh as far as we know right now there's about four dead but 35 people are missing in the rebel. So we have to dive in we have to learn 35 people is a lot 200 injured the hospitals are overwhelmed they're asking people not to show up. So the mat is not so simple. Said this yesterday, mat is not simple. We need nissim. I would like to share with you a crazy video that right before she last night. So we're all standing here and then we got a warning during the English year that it told us that in a few minutes like in 15 minutes something's going to happen. Another video that somebody sent me which was unbelievable was a guy taking a video from Tel Aviv and he says uh I don't know what just happened but like the sidewalk opened up and there's things coming out of the sidewalk and sure enough as he's video you see missiles coming out of the sidewalk in middle of Tel Aviv like just a random sidewalk like something opened up there and was intercepting the missiles like to protect Tel Aviv. And he goes, he's like, "Okay." And then a second later, boom, a missile hits that area. So I guess it was protecting like the Curya or something, but it was just mindbgggling. Like people didn't know that it existed. Like there's the arrow in the neighborhood on the sidewalk. So we dive in and we we dive for all those who are injured. We dive for all those that are missing. Um, I do want to say that I felt last night when I was giving the Hebrew share especially that there's a certain fog on my head. It's like literally like um my brain wasn't working. It was working at like 50% capacity and there's a lot of pressure. There's a lot of a lot of things going on here in doesn't lend to to smooth learning and it's that in a normal day regular day things flow and okay so there's a few things we got to address. First of all, we are starting starting this coming Friday and um should should try hard put in your status. And uh you're keeping it open, but it could be another and then there's you know these there's a lot of families that are split like the parents can't come this way that way. My friend Avi came just contacted me this morning. He's making I think this Wednesday and his daughter stuck in seminary and they pushed off the whole wedding so she she should come. He got out. Dear Rav Stfansky, for starters, I love the Rav Stfansky. Could it just be rebellion? No. Rav, for starters, thank you for giving me an opportunity of a lifetime which changed the course of my year in Israel. most likely many years to come. Coming to Levator, I personally did not have a massive love for Gimar. Not because I didn't like the material, but because of the style. Learning two over the course of a schooling year is not my favorite, but I had known no other method. Wow. Sim Torah came around. She was auctioning off honors when I found myself in a bidding war regarding how many daff to learn by the end. I'm not sure how. It turns out I formed a daff to do by the end of the year. I knew my father's been doing the daf and he does d with us since the beginning of the cycle and see the only way to attain that goal. When I found Yeshir and started going on the daily, it changed the way I felt about that. I used to view I used to view learning the dav as a chore and enjoyed it just as much about as much as writing an essay for my history teachers. But you completely flipped my understanding of learning the daff. In addition, I gained tremendous knowledge of Hebrew from the Israeli evening show. I used to come to both. It's crazy. I fixed my yeshiva schedule to come to Dafyomi in the mornings before breakfast and in the evenings as a night share. It tremendously enhanced my year. You bring so many new content to learning itself in the way it taught me to love doing the da and look forward to it. You keep tens of thousands of people engaged asking fascinating questions a sense of community and space to be heard. You keep your entertaining and uplifting from your non-stop energy all the jokes you tell keep everyone engaged in that. Dedication is incredible, inspiring. The son or the employee, whoever it is, they say, So what happened over here since the balabayas he put two people he connected two people they don't want to be they don't want to take any sort of responsibility the employee wants to get paid the store owner wants to give food and they're both guaranteed by the employer. So now the employer has to pay twice because they can't fight with each other. They don't know each other. They don't care about each other. They were told what to do. They were told, "Go to the store, pick up merchandise." They were, the other guy was told, "Give the merchandise. We'll pay you." So, it's not his problem anymore. Somebody's lying here, but it's not their problem. The store owner makes a guy who needs to take the right. The guy that's not that didn't take responsibility. The store owner didn't take any responsibility. The uh the the worker didn't take any responsibility. The one that took responsibility is the employer. Benny sends his worker to go get food from it. So it's Benny's. He calls him up says, "Listen, give him a bananas." So you go over there, he say give me here, give me 20 shackle worth of uh gary pizza then he gives him the bag here take this telling us your dinner and then the store says but you didn't pay I gave it to you and you put in the cash register in this case the the guy that's buying the the he has to swear. He has a in his hand. He has to swear. What kind of what kind of now? What if he paid? I want my fruit. What? You don't remember? I gave you the fruit. You already left with them before that case. In other words, the one that's holding on to the stuff, he's the one that has to make his over here. In the second case, the owner is holding on to the money. He claims that he gave merchandise. So, you swear before the other guy's holding on to the merchandise. The question is, did he pay for it? So, he should swear because he's holding on to the one that's holding on to the item. He he's the one that has to make argues. So he's really arguing on the first case. What was the first case? The guy comes to the store. He gave he says, "Give me fruit." And then he says, "Okay." He takes the prim and he says, and the owner says, "But you didn't pay me." Says, "Reb doesn't make any sense. If you go to a store, usually the owner doesn't give you the merchandise until you get paid." Even today it's like that. It's he'll give you the bag, you know, he gives you this bag full of stuff once you pay. You come to the cash register. Yeah. You ask him to supermarket in a supermarket. What? They jump off the bus and they run. And you watch him and he's like he's smiling. So I said I said what are you smiling? He says, "For 20 years, I'm going with this pouch with a bunch of tissues inside." And they finally they finally attacked my pouch. In other words, he used to put the money and everything somewhere else. And he took 20 I would give up after a year or two, but okay 20 years. So, first the guy the the change guy says, "Where's where's the money? He's supposed to give me the money. He says, "I gave it to you." So in that case, the guy that coming for the change, he has to swear because he has the money by him. What if the the argument is the reverse like by the food store? Same case. Same case. He gave him the money. That's not the but where's my change? Oh, what do you mean I gave you the money? Happens a lot. It happened to me a bunch of times in life. Like I thought he didn't give me the change I did give you. proves it or in that case the change guy has to swear in the first case where the argument is how did I get my change you didn't you didn't give the change guy the original money he was supposed to give a $100 bill and get shekel the change guy gave the but he claims he didn't get the $100 bill says rebuted it makes no sense the way it works is first he gets the $100 dollars. Once he has it in his hand, he puts it through that machine to see if it's if it's not counterfeit. Then he gives the money and this is easy from here on easy. So this is something that we already had that is not good. They're trying going to try to whatever. I'm not getting into that whether they or not. I don't know. Maybe some something you can make him swear without knowing 100%. I looked it up in the because it really bothered me like what if the guy doesn't want to swear so he has to pay. What does he pay?
