Daf Yomi Nazir Daf 66 by R’ Eli Stefansky

live in Chicago a lot of my personal flights to the city as you all know I gave enough sheer here for close to eight years nadas so I'm very excited to be back larger oil tomorrow of course the seam expecting well we have over 150 people registered 25 people are flying in so it's probably gonna be a little bit more than 150 people it's still not too late to get your friends to come join I'm not gonna have another opportunity like this for a long time unbelievable uh before we get into the sad stuff and you know I don't know if I'm gonna be able to hold myself together as usual so I just want to read a couple of emails and see them they don't want don't want to start off on a sad note start off with simcha I'm happy to be here uh just landed literally uh maybe two and a half hours three hours ago it's a little tired no what time is it now maybe it's more maybe five hours ago I don't know I don't even know where I am avraham yusapov arav the Seattle desty in the airport there he is diving for the best for the Hillary safe travels your talmud abios above and by the way we're trying out this new technology so I gotta think of Remy Cohen for setting up setting it up and uh it's supposed to come with a fancy case next time I'm here it's going to be like the whole you know just wanted to tell you I'm just an awe-inspire how you imagining thousands of thousands of people the tire attaches yet another picture of a person immersed entire business who is also a member of the Missouri choir and a job at a wedding by the break stocking away with mdy listening to you shear and oblivious to surroundings reaction continued to give you koyage to further be Marvin's Tire in the light of the world mdy lost a very very dear and close friend the very very young Avi mandelbell lost his battle uh earlier today I was on a plane didn't know about it for hours and he was a tremendous part of mdy he's been with mdy since the beginning of the of the cycle he learned at least 1100 that with us every single day through thick and thin uh the island was in tremendous pain tremendous pain he was on Zoom every single day he was always I don't know how he got through he's always the top top row and very very vocal you always when you went on Zoom you heard him speaking and he brought mdy together he he he pulled off atos like like no one could believe he was himself a zionistic Jew had a ring on his finger yet litvax and everything in between everybody was diving from everybody we learned over 5 000 gamer from five thousand it's not it's unbelievable and he always went with his attitude he had stage four cancer from day one and he went with a smile he says no it's nothing it's not the real four stage it's the fake one this is a different type and nobody knows I'm I'm gonna beat it gonna beat it and you when you looked at him and and watched him on Zoom the next day right after with the smile Smiles so it happens to be that the very first year that I gave outside of mdy was in his house and he came to visit me here in Chicago with his whole family so he's a very very big piece of mdy and um we're gonna miss him sorely and I really is really hurting and everybody should having a club I mean his his physical there's a lot of people out there that are in a tremendous amount of pain here he is look how young he is this is just two years ago when I was in his house with Gary memo this is the sheer in his house and here he is in my house in Chicago this is also I don't know maybe a year and a half ago I don't remember when this was here's some of the guys this is Jose biliac and Lauren spiegelman visiting him in the hospital look at that smile and this is mdy why it's probably never spoke in his life and here he is visiting him in the hospital and that inspired oh boy I didn't show that hold on a second see I don't have hmm let me get off this for a second and go here I thought I put that on okay there was a picture here from let me see if I can get maybe I'm pretty sure I put it on there but I guess not okay I'll have to show it tomorrow there's a picture uh that was in the dark room that we used the Aussie Cline and Navi mendelberg and he gave us permission to use it so oops let me get back here let's see if that works no no hold on let's not do that okay fine fine should have an Aliyah um the best way to bring is to get more people to learn the deaf like Avi did um oh I had a nice video that I want to show the ilum where he says oh and then one more thing today on the plane is very interesting um I didn't know that he was nifter and I was I was um binging on saw him because I I would like to finish myself very long that's what over 120 dots right so I had to prepare share on the plane but I did a lot of stuff him and I wrote down just that andaf memo I was talking about Avi and an afternoon valve I welcome back to this role and I said I love you minute seven check it out the beginning so he's been mentioned many many times this year he's been a very very big part of share his instructions and of course by the way I almost missed my connecting flight in France as usual but because of the island where I'm serious I know there's a certain I haven't missed since I started giving Schumer I haven't missed the flyboard Hashem but one thing always happens my luggage never shows up so I don't have my stuff I don't have a suit for tomorrow and you know you know that goes all right so here we are the last and final daf of this amazing myself though I say this a lot and I mean it especially with this myself I'm gonna miss Nazar I love Nazar for me every day was was unbelievable I know some of you had some trouble with it but nuzzer is an amazing amazing so we're holding oh we got to do some sponsors correct thank you from Lakewood the second sponsor of the coilover moving Klein in honor of my daughter is becoming accountants from Toronto the Mercedes sponsored by Anonymous the Paris last day the Landy family the one-year-old Elliot Manning Lee's son vladis loves zacharov in this that I graduate this may for the third time before turning 40. third time Woody Wyman before Slammer for Golden bass Brock Alfreda her procedure today she goes smoothly on Main in the art completed my voice had to have that art book that came out will have it here in Chicago I know it's printed already in New York the printer and uh I just roll missed my I was supposed to bring it here but that didn't work out so yes he client is slapping it uh and and there's a stroll they're getting it and whoever's else I think it's going to be available for print on demand it's a beautiful 100 page book you go through it and you see all the suggest that we learned so again don't forget to bring your friends and even people that were on and fell off could also join they could also get a gamara we're holding the last last two words oh I didn't say ludich was my mother no foreign let's go over this real quickly another the city of zov a lot of small details in there but the idea is very very basic very simple if a man we're not talking about women today they have Ziva it's a different situations some allahs are slightly different but if a man sees one emission which is not it's not a carry it's something else called Ziva it comes from from a disease so if he sees one emission it makes him into like about Carrie and just like about Carrie goes to the mix of that day and that evening he's already tar what is that called her Shema she's at fully so too azov who has won a mission what if he has two missions now he's taught me for seven days and he has to wait if something happens he has another mission during those seven days he has to start all over again he has to count seven clean days if he has three emissions and it could be in the same day they could be in three consecutive days but he has three emissions again he has to wait seven clean days just like a sub who saw three guys but he also has to bring a carbon so we're talking about the mission is telling us that the third reel once you have two re-eos now we step it up now he loses the Suffolk part if there's some sort of Suffolk we say no he's gonna be a real zov whereas if he only had one Rio if there's a suffix we say Okay Suffolk so what's going on we have three things we go to homura if it's the third one if he's a Suffolk and if Zera what are these three things oh my rava um we're not talking about if the guy's third mission he wasn't sure whether it was or it wasn't okay sometimes you have a suffix he doesn't know did I see something I don't know why because hi because in the third rear even in the third re of a person has a suffix we always go he's not sure are you gonna make him be a zombie he doesn't he doesn't know if he saw he doesn't know what he saw shows Locker and he wouldn't and let's say a guy had two re-eos so he says he starts counting day one day two day three day four yesterday five let's say and all of a sudden did I see something or did I just go to the bathroom I don't know what just happened you don't start over there's no stereo so can't be that what's going on here is that he has himself so what is it hello he saw he knows what he saw just we don't know what's the suffix we don't know if what he saw was a mix to Ziva together with Zara or just a Ziva by itself since we already have two Rio is is in bad shape he's a really strong zov because if it's one real no it's for that day only goes to the Mikvah end of the story but since he's a serious love he's had two emissions to realize and he has to wait seven days now we're gonna go all out on him since he's not sure if it's a pure Ziva or not we're going to say that what you just saw reviewed is number three oh now you have to pay 500 bucks and bring a card so if a guy sees a Ziva what happens he has to start all over again during his seven days right he's counting seven days he's a zob of two-time job he starts counting seven days day five let's say he sees a third wheel starts all over again it's very interesting Allah if a person is a zov and he sees a carry he only goes back one day 24 hours so what's going on here is as follows since he has a Suffolk if what he saw was a Ziva or perhaps it was Zera he doesn't know what he saw that's the suffering he knows that he saw Ziva but he doesn't know who's by itself or not so he has a Shiloh how much does he have to go back does he have to start his count again a seven day count he's ready to go to the midco he's almost there does he have to go all the way back to go start over seven days or does he just do one day now we're telling him because you saw two two zivas your your series of let's be macaron you speaker Tommy that's what's going on there says and now the other thing it says in the mishnah that this zov that saw three years already so his Tommy what does that mean every human being so what's special about him what what could what did you add to the tumor I'll tell you what we had there is something to add by the way this is the song is going to be finished soon and then we have a beautiful like almost like an agated what does it mean it's Thomas to touch the Zera and you become Tommy garbage any human being that starred and stomach to it foreign things for a second we're gonna go back first we're gonna Slug it up and then when we don't have a choice we're gonna come back to this I want you to remember this thing right here that this Zara now has a new element to it now let's say I lift this cup up and the zero over here now I'm coming typically speaking a regular human being Zera you're not you're not you don't become puppy unless you physically touch it lifting something else that has it on top doesn't do anything tomorrow um wait a minute that says that the sheikhlazera of azov makes you Tommy just by lifting up something that's holding on to the zero it's a zero on this table and I lift the table I'm Tommy who says that nobody says it if I'm if if the person is a Zone you let my title maybe you'll say oh I found somebody that's similar to this this is no way doesn't have special attributes it's it's become like a regular person the manga if you touch it but not be maso oh he starts off great it looks like we have a Tana because he says that it is metama by lifting it but he explains and in his explanation we see that's not doesn't fit into us the fee says you're talking about a guy with his off he has a disease in his body so the reason says we wish that I say that any gives you Tomah just by lifting it is because induction you're going to have a little bit it's in that area of the body this disease and in this area there's going to be a little bit of zov and that Ziva creates a very strong Toma called maso every Ziva is only says because we don't look at this area we look at it as what As Eva and Ziva is if you have pure Zera with no Ziva at all boy Omar we should have never said this so in other words bottom line is we don't have a tada that says straight out that Zera of azove is if so going back to the question what is the mission talking about the mission is saying that uh two times of his well every human being there is matama so what's special about the about is of we don't have a title that says that it's special because you you talk it's metabolism hello hmm doesn't want to move oh okay here's Allah that not everybody's familiar with very few people in the world are familiar with this if a person is about Carrie and then he sees aziva he knows he sees something weird color thing coming out of his body from a disease called Ziva he's not a zov for 24 hours why so either it's a possum or we have a swara okay so again a person is about Kerry regular person Carrie he sees he Hector he has a tahara from Ziva he's nothing that comes out of his body is going to make him more coming as a zov for 24 hours what if he is already a zov twice he's a two times of and then he saw Carrie now the carry doesn't help him yeah Carrie helps if he's on his own by itself but if he's already a sub you already gave him two times zero he already saw two zivas then he saw in a mission of Kerry and the fourth emission of Ziva is doesn't have that green no Ziva it is a Ziva it's dissolved right away that's his third emission I he had a carry before and when you have a carry it doesn't count afterwards okay so says that's exactly what the mission is telling us the mishna says that the Zera of azov is you have 24-hour break there is no Ziva but this this zov guy who saw two emissions already he's extreme he's already super Tommy and just because he has chick was there afterwards it doesn't make his third reuniteria it is a real yeah is everybody following me okay good either that you don't want me to repeat it okay Papa said you know what I can explain this with a with a simple Sparrow ideas says rap Papa why is it the top line that if a person is about Kerry yes 24 hours of freebie Ziva no matter how much Ziva he has he's not as of why what's going on there so I'll explain to you our missional described the seven things that he took us off did he exert himself with exercise did he lift heavy objects did he eat a lot of cheese did he do this did he do that if there's a good reason why he saw a Ziva that his body's sick highly he's not his love says oh maybe a guy that that saw Kerry the week in this body and we could consider him like when it comes to zebra his body is weak just like a guy ate a lot of cheeses no a week in this body this also weakened his body oh so that's good when you have the first real the two but once the guy is is yes tourists already then I don't care about Harley that the mission said Remember the mission that says all these checks that we do did you exert yourself that you eat this do you do that that only applies for real number one and two but real number three he says the mission we don't care about who cares you could be as sick as you want you see another Ziva that makes you zov number three also that's why in this chart you see if a guy is about Kerry he's sick so he has 24 hours of freebie Ziva but if a guy saw two zivers and then he saw Kerry you don't care we don't care about sickness so may the third Ziva is a good Ziva foreign question sends him home Gershon is evil if a guy had a carry when he's a god and then he became Jewish and then he saw Ziva so according to your logical of Papa the guy should not be azov why because the guy was weak you got to carry that day well before he became Jewish and now that he's Jewish he's still sick because he had a carry says Robert not only is he sick you know they have a list of all the stressful things in life happens to be divorce is one of them uh a major disease losing a job the most stressful things in life one of the things in there is marriage marriage getting back with your spouse breaking up with your spouse imagine becoming a Garrett that got to be on the list no it says that's the stress the the to become yourself all the Mitzvahs plus you're about Carrie so you're super super sick according to Europe Papa so you shouldn't be as of how can you tell me it says even if he had Carrie now we just have to do a little bit of husband tiny bit so if we get rid of Papa then we don't have an explanation in ravada if we don't have explosion revado that we don't know why yeah so just it sounds good and worse let me just explain it again we had this this line right here that if a person saw Carrie he's not a zov for 24 hours but if he saw two zivas he is as of and we're about to try to explain it because a person is sick but he's only the sickness only helps for the first zebra not for not after use of twice so Robert knocked him out and said I'll prove it to you from a girl that doesn't work okay so if you knocked him out so he doesn't add explanation what's the difference between uh that you don't become resolving you do become reserved and if so I don't have a good shot in the mishnah what does it mean in the mishnah that the Sheikh was there is matama I wanted to say it means that after two zivas is I have to explain it because so then you have to go all the way back and now I don't have a shot so now the universe is you know I do have a shot my original original shot what was the original so the gemara said that it's lamasso I give it a new tumor that if you lift it up even though you didn't touch it it's on a plate but you lift it up the plate you become Tommy you must say but there is no Tan in the world that says that so now we're going to go back and say there is a title that says that okay you just take out the word on Malay over there yes [Music] let's go back to the original shot that you're not touching the zero but you're lifting it and that makes you thumb it is a guy he was a complete zov you know he saw these he had three really nice lace for 24 hours here here's a town 24 hours if you if you lift up up until the night it's a big difference 24 hours up until that night because let's say a person here in Chicago seven what time so a person sees okay so if he sees a zero at 12 o'clock in the afternoon he only has seven hours of maso after seven hours once the sun goes down he lifts up a plate that has the Zaron and he's not coming but if you hold like the tanakama then you have 24 hours it's more extreme start British one Edition so slow slow what's going on this one okay so this might be a little confusing but the blue is the puzzle the red is where I just stuck in shock Ed so you could say is that we're talking about two different things here is talking about Ziva first he was a zov after he's absorbed this basically what we're discussing here in arasugia azova became a a valkyrie also he's lawyer he's a zombie he's not tar and then he saw mikray which is like Carrie Loyola so if a person has a carry after Ziva it has the same Toma like the Ziva says that's what we're talking about it in other words Ziva if I pick up a Ziva thing that came out I lift it up in a plate I become Tommy I'm Tommy maso so too in this case because he's a carry after azov he also becomes Tommy Bim maso foreign law you see micro light law see more understands according to this man normal it's up until the night this idea that it's as strong as Eva that's up until the night that's inside he brings down left foreign means two nights in other words 24 hours okay if you start now it's 24 hours so which one is it is it up until the night or is it 24 hours my name is that he uses the word Lutheran server talking about two nights it's 24 hours of Tomah Masa it's more it's simpler to learn than it means up until the night because it says on first make real Lila lift my Sayers a little bit you know you got it's a dress lift noise means one night there means another night but make your life it says Lila our love no Lila is nothing is the tire just at night because the player talks like like we talk when does it usually happen at night it's it's a thing that happens at night usually mikra Loyola not that it we're talking about it's the tomb of mass is up until the night now what is the other man I'm gonna do it says so he learns that you need hair of shamish look Miss aravas to tell us the hair of shamesh yeah you have to wait you're not you go to the Midfield but you're not taller completely until Nightfall now I'm confused I don't know how to say the mission for the official mission is sponsored by official s I'll tell you what officials want to do official would want the mission to be sponsored for Abby mandelbam's family they should have an homo foreign if a person says I want to be like Novi then he becomes another why because schwa was another so where do we find this what was another um so Hannah Davin now we learned Fila from Hannah didn't have children for many many years and she dive in the gamara teaches us and one of the things we there's a few things that we learned from how to many things one of the things you see from Hana is that she came up with her own tricks she argued with Hashem she said look you gave me a a body of a woman to feed kids and I don't have children why do you do this to me things like that she didn't come with Tyler but true but she she used logic and Hashem accepted her logic and different things that we learned from Han but one of the things she said is oh I just wanted to show this why not because this is uh Yoshi asked me what what's my favorite everything more the Mikvah thing but this is a night he becomes star okay but yeah it's a very long process ities you're not gonna forget about me give me children means a razor we're not going to shave his head in other words I am going to make him another get it from so the mission says um foreign so here it says by Simpson um what does it mean it means you can't give him a haircut why can azir because it's gonna be a nausea so you see from Simpson that the word means a razor so also by Navi means a razor it's very interesting that the measure says that there was a bicycle that came out and said that there's going to be a child that's going to be born very soon his name is going to be shmuel and it's going to be greater than moishanari put together you know shmuel was one of the greatest people that ever lived so the women started naming their babies anybody had a baby named them shmuel I don't know who it is I'm gonna I'm not gonna take a chance called Arya shmuel let's go maybe it's gonna be my son of course none of the children became but the measure says because they really wanted badly that their child should be a navi so they got all those children that were called small achieved navua in some in some way you see the idea that when a parent wants their child to succeed and to be to be a learner to do well and that kashbar who gives that seat another very important thing is that there have been Aina all the way at the end of the sabriel he says on the pasok uh I think I wrote it down um he says that is not dependent on how many years you live it's how many Deeds you did it goes by your Maison and a person could live very a very long life and and not be accomplished in a person could live you could be that Rizal 37 38 and a lot of a lot of people only lives a very very short time and schwaranavi brings it up brings this says that shmuel only let christwell for 10 years we're not sure I've been all the class of 40. and yet you say that Shmo shocked so it's not how many years is how much you do now it's hard to understand because you're a Bano of course but we're not going into that just the idea ideas there all right so says he takes the word Moira and he says it's not what it's it's spelled with a but you could read it with aleph in other words fear what he's saying is you shouldn't have fear I'm blessing should I get shimshin had no fear shim Shin went against all the push them went in he came out he beat everybody up destroyed him killed them had no fear of human beings and that's what it means who started off the mission and saying no the murder means a razor but I like for anemiah it can't be what you're saying because it uses the word Moira by shmuel and shmuel had fear of human beings how can I go and anoint Ed Show's gonna kill me it's his competition you're the show if Moira if Hashem for everything he should have listened for that as well and not give him any fear you see it's not Mario doesn't mean fear Mario means erasably now estaya there's a questionnaire how in the world she made shmuel a Nazir what do we learn in Mrs who makes a kid another only a father knew what's up shot so we have to go on to either the father O'Connor agree to it or maybe she convinced more later on in life but it's not so cautious she doesn't have the right to make him a Nazir foreign that's somewhat somehow has some relation Tower RAV the famous rap the goddaughter in bubble he tells his son Elizabeth the members of the HPA group and their families are made foreign it's a great idea to do it on a on a Kiddush cup with wine and do a Simon obviously if you have a demon so what's more important to be the one making the bracha or the one saying amen so we have a mcclegis here RAV tells his son you you do it if you could lead the benching the demon you do it especially in those days in those days one person made the bracha and everybody said oh man nobody said benching that's why today if you see people that know hawaka and we all do now because I'm telling you that Allah and we spoke about a lot in prophets but when you bench you're supposed to say every word out loud the one benching right beside Nevada they don't just go to sleep and if somebody wants to be the united in those days that's how it was one person LED and everybody said like kiddish that's how they do it this fighter everybody I'm saying one person says out loud I know but that's not what that's not what I'm saying I'm saying one person says a lot but if everybody says a lot it's also good better than ashkenazin Ashen a lot of people don't even say it them and they have a standard yeah after they speak to them like you were there that's where you got up I don't know but that's I think that's what I'm supposed to be yeah it's not just Robinson so says what you're telling me to lead is better reviews the guy finishing it off the finisher is greater than the starter yeah only that feel me I'm like this but in the rest of my life I'm a starter not a finisher I have to hire finishers because that's not my personality is it what the finisher wins says the gamara The Finisher is the one he gets all the credit it's like a Schwab teda when you when you uh you go to war right we know how it goes they they first send in the the troops what kind of the the young guys the inexperienced soldiers let them go let if they have to get killed they get killed no no later on they send in the pros after they they wipe out most of the things and then they bring in the the Navy SEALS or whatever they are who gets all the credit who won the war not the 18 year old schmergy that just started all his friends died they come in last minute and they take the trophy so ugly Muhammad they're the ones that start everything into everything but the the the the real the the strong soldiers Knights can they're the ones that win so which one is it is it the amane or is it foreign there's a story going around if anybody knows more information register a number of times I'm not taking any uh but it's a cute story there's a girl a young girl okay let's call her 10 year old girl she accepted upon herself that she won't make a bracha unless somebody can answer on me so of course she came to the situation where there's nobody there it was the middle of the night three o'clock in the morning and she got up to get a drink and she's not gonna wake up her parents so she didn't drink and she's very thirsty but she said I have a cabal I didn't drink and then she went back to sleep and she dreamed that she made a whole map because of her thing and that her friend who's sick got her full Slama the thing is that nobody knew that this friend was sick she told her parents about it her parents called up this the parents of these kids he said yeah that was the kid has the mahla and then we didn't tell anybody and then the story is nine months later she was healed nine days later hello you're equal the one leading gets hired the one saying oh man gets scar hell whatever that means I'm not sure what that means exactly but in they go the one who makes the bracha gets the sky first just real quickly I was thinking and I didn't look this up and I didn't ask anybody it could be completely wrong but I was thinking that maybe you know there's a little bit of a zizzle we're not so much there's a lot of people that learn Torah during when they're not supposed to really and there's a lot of nobody's paying attention Etc but from this game or you see an amazing thing now maybe is our opportunity to say Ami because we say we're the Movado and the gamara says higher first but saying Omen is just as important and and some say it's even more important so first we damage from an essay we say the bracha soil it's a little different because we're not saying it to anybody else we're saying it to ourselves but you see the idea of saying oh man how important it is so maybe you should be more Market on on thinking and being present during it's not a joke we said you know because a lot of people say oh there's shots is is more for you know in the in the olden days when people didn't know how to read so but over here you see that this Indian of saying amen and with that I guess we'll stop right here whoever wants to make a seal by themselves could just say these less very very famous lines we're not going to say them today so that we can say it tomorrow but boys I have a wonderful day
