continue growing that you should become
um like it says in in peh hey today that
what the Gemara mentions a million five
times. May May
What does it say exactly? May Right. May
Five times it's mentioned. So you should
have more than may May even listening
daily to you.
You're lighting up the world. And every
once in a while somebody sends me a

MDY art month Reb Shaul ben Esther
l'chayim. Reb Shaul ben Esther l'chayim.
Reb Boaz I here we go. We are mamesh on
today's daf daf pates. We're holding two
lines down.
Chatzi log shemen l'toida. We learned in
the Mishna that there's a half a log of
oil for the 30 breads of the toida that
are matzah. 10 of them are chametz.
Ah. We're finally coming back to Mizmor
L'Soida. I spoke to people here in the
hotel not everyone was familiar with the
idea. There was a
guy that's a talmid chacham. I asked him
about it. He said yeah I know we don't I
I don't really know the reason why we
don't say Mizmor L'Soida.
Actually no no no. Sorry sorry sorry. He
knew the reason. He said I don't believe
anybody doesn't know the reason. So we
asked a few people and they didn't know
the reason. Yeah sorry. So
the reason why we don't say Mizmor
L'Soida during Pesach is because
the the toida like we discussed has a
bunch of chametz in it.
Here we go.
10 of the breads are chametz
and therefore we can't say Mizmor
L'Soida.
Erev Pesach is a different story.
But
also we don't say Mizmor L'Soida.
The
And it says in Halacha by the way that
when you say Mizmor L'Soida I don't do
it but I hope you guys do it. You should
sing it b'nigun. There's a shira to
Mizmor L'Soida. It's a Mizmor L'Soida.
It's a it's a special Mizmor that we say
to thank HaShem.
It says in the pasuk b'shemen b'shemen
sh'tei pa'amim. In fact we'll see the
pasuk has three times b'shemen b'shemen
b'shemen. So we're looking at the first
two times. Why does the pasuk say
the word b'shemen
twice?
Ilu ne'emar b'shemen echad. If we only
say it once I would say
I would say just like every other mincha
gets a full log of oil so too the toida
gets a full log. Why a half log?
Achshav she kasav b'shemen b'shemen
or b'shemen b'shemen have a ribui acher
ribui. So we have a a klal we have a
rule in the Torah when there's
two positives make a negative. A ribui
acher ribui when it comes to include
twice
it comes to be marbeit yeah.
Ein ribui acher ribui ela l'ma'eit.
The rule is that if it says the word
twice it comes to include twice it's
actually a me'ut. Mi'ut acher kasav
chatzi log. So we take it down one step.
We go from a full log which a typical
mincha gets take it down to a half.
Ribui
as the Gemara ribui acher ribui chad
ribui hu. Why why tell me it's two
ribui? We need the first one to tell me
that there's oil.
Ela ilu ilu ne'emar b'shemen kol ikar.
No. So the Gemara it's a long lashon but
the point is simple. If we wouldn't have
said
the first one at all
automatically I could assume that every
mincha up until now gets a full log of
oil. So too the toida gets a full log.
Achshav she ne'emar b'shemen b'shemen
I don't need the first the first shemen
to tell me
that
you get a log shemen. Cuz that's
obvious. Every mincha gets a log.
So
why does it say b'shemen twice? It must
be the idea of ribui acher ribui and the
double positive is a negative. Mi'ut
acher kasav chatzi log. It takes it down
to a half a log.
Yachol I would think chatzi log shemen
l'shlosha meaning l'chalo'is u'l'rakikin
u'l'revi'a.
Now the matzah the matzah part
we're going to ignore. I mean the
chametz part we're going to ignore for
now. The 10 on the right forget about.
We're talking about the three to the
left. The revucha the the matzah and the
rakikin. The chalo'is the the rakikin
and the revucha.
I have a half a log. So perhaps divide
the half
into thirds.
Each one the revucha gets a a third. The
chalo'is gets a third. The rakikin gets
a third.
Kashu omer b'shemen.
Now we're going to discuss the final
word bashamen at the end of the pasuk.
Why does it say bashamen again Rebbi
Akiva?
She'ein tamud lomar.
It doesn't need to be said at all. Why?
Because it says meforesh in this pasuk
al machalas bashamen they also murbaches
to be ano. It says that there's oil
bashamen in a murbaches. So I don't need
the pasuk to tell me again
right over here that the murbaches all
the way at the end of the pasuk gets
oil. I already have a pasuk.
She'ein tamud lomar. That's I'm just
explaining why these words these three
words she'ein tamud lomar.
Rebo shemen lerivicha.
The Torah is saying no no no I already
said it once you're right but I'm saying
it again to tell you that the rivucha
the three types who have the rikikin the
the chalos and the rivucha the rivucha
gets more than the other two.
Okay so how do you do it?
I think this is it.
May be chatzi log shemen b'chetzayu. You
take a half a log of the oil that's the
amount that we discussed already it
should be a half. And what do you do to
the half? You divide it in half each one
is a quarter of a log.
Chatzi l'challah is l'rikikin v'chetz
l'rivucha. The two types the challos and
the rikikin get a quarter of a log.
In other words
they both
the rikikin they get an eighth and an
eighth. The challos get an eighth and
the rikikin get an eighth.
Which is a half of a
uh
Each one is you take the you take the
chatzi you divide it into quarters. So
to have of a quarter is an eighth.
And the other one the rivucha gets
um
a
What did I just say eighth?
Half quarter. Yeah gets a quarter. It
gets a quarter and the other one gets
eighth. Yeah.
Give a log. Chatzi l'challah is
l'rikikin v'chetz l'rivucha. So the
rivucha gets a quarter and the challos
gets an eighth and the rikikin gets
eighth.
Omar Rebbi Elozar ben Azarya.
Akiva.
Calling him by his name. Akiva. Im
atomar b'chol hayom kuloi bashamen
bashamen eini shome'a l'cha.
It doesn't matter that you're making
these drashos bashamen bashamen twice
three times I can't I can't I'm not
being mikabel.
Elo chatzi log shemen l'todah. You
should know it's halacha l'Moshe
miSinai.
Moshe Rabbeinu received this from the
Ribono shel Olam it's not a pasuk in the
Torah.
Not only that there's other two other
things. Chatzi log shemen l'todah.
The fact that there's a chatzi log that
goes to the todah is
halacha l'Moshe miSinai not because
there's extra shemen. U'revi'is shemen
l'nazir and the fact that a nazir gets
a revi'is of a log
v'achadas s'yotzim shebein niddah
l'niddah
halacha l'Moshe miSinai.
B'dai ra'isah
a woman a woman who sees dam she becomes
a niddah for seven days.
After the seven days doesn't matter if
she sees two days three days five days
after the seven days she goes to the
mikvah she's tovel and it's tahor.
The 11 days after that time
halacha l'Moshe miSinai tells us that
these are the days of zivah.
And zivah is a different type of dam.
And you can become a zava ketanah
or a zava gedolah if she sees three
times then she's a zava gedolah she's
bringing korban chul but
as you can see here in the chart four
five six these are days let's say it's a
just an example days four five six then
she becomes a zava gedolah zava gedolah.
Now
today
um
b'nos Yisrael accepted upon themselves
that they
no matter what
uh let me just let me just go back a
second. If it's a zava ketanah
she keeps she she shomeres yom k'neged
yom. She just has to keep one clean day.
But if she's a zava gedolah then she has
to keep seven days of taharah.
And then goes to the mikvah. So today
there's no such thing as
zivah days and niddah days they just
made them all one to be machmir because
it becomes very complicated to figure
out what's was it did she see dam in the
zivah day did she see dam in the niddah
day? So they just said everything we're
going to be machmir they have to keep
seven days of taharah.
This idea that there's 11 days of zivah
that's halacha l'Moshe miSinai.
Okay so
Rebbi Elozar ben Azarya argues on Rebbi
Akiva
and he says it's not a pasuk. This that
a todah gets a half a log of oil not a
full log
that's halacha l'Moshe miSinai.
B'log hayu modeh.
So it says in the Mishnah that
b'log hayu modeh basically they hold
this man omer holds
that even
u'v'log hayu modeh l'chol hamenachos.
We have a machlokes here
whether or not
a mincha that's a huge mincha of 60
is'aron of flour instead of one is'aron
60 is'aron do you add 60 log of oil or
one log of oil for all 60?
Torah banan b'metzora onikseiv.
When a person is a metzora he has
tzara'as he he
he the kohen says you have an affliction
of tzara'as.
If he can't afford the typical korbanos
of a wealthy of an ashir a wealthy
person who's who has to bring an asham
oil and chatas so the Torah is lenient
with him and says you can bring
a mincha instead. Torah banan metzora
onikseiv is'aron b'log v'log. It says
these three words is'aron
for one is'aron in b'log v'log. Limed al
is'aron she ton log. Divrei chachamim.
So chachamim say oh each and every
is'aron requires one log.
Rebbi Nachman Rebbi Elozar Rebbi Akiva
u'minchah shel shishim is'aron einah
l'log
They argue and they say Rebbi Nachman
Rebbi Elozar say that even 60 is'aronos
only requires one log of oil she
ne'emar.
And they have a different pasuk.
L'minchah u'v'lo shemen. For the entire
mincha one log shemen. Now they they are
going to have to explain what do we do
with the first pasuk is'aron b'log log?
That for every is'aron there's a one
log.
And then the Tanna Kamma the chachamim
are going to have to explain what do we
do with this pasuk l'minchah u'v'lo
shemen?
How does it how does it fit in that no
matter how large the mincha is log
shemen you get one log shemen?
Says Rebbi Nachman Rebbi Elozar Rebbi
Akiva is'aron b'log log which seems like
every is'aron needs a log may have the
lay what do they do with it? Ah chul
l'gufai. This is in a metzora poor
person's metzora to teach us
the kol omer Rachmana leisi chadas
is'aron. Tells us he should bring one
is'aron of flour.
V'idach.
D'gufai leitzorach. I don't need a pasuk
to tell me that. B'digal Rachmana
metzora ashir shlosha korbanos so just
write this.
By a regular metzora he has to bring the
chatas oil and asham and he has to bring
three
is'aronos. You see? You can't even see
he's he's holding on to the flour.
>> [snorts]
>> So since he's
he has flour how much? Three is'aronos.
Achad l'chat korban. So by the poor
metzora he brings one korban therefore
he brings one is'aron. If he brings
three korbanos like the regular metzora
he brings three
measurements of flour three is'aronos of
flour. If he brings one korban so you
bring one measurement. You don't get out
of it completely?
V'idach it's your sog d'tenan min oil
b'chatz Rachmana leisi b'dalos. The
Torah Rachmana says so. You support you
don't have to bring all the korbanos.
Amar Rebbi Elozar ben Akiva perhaps he
shouldn't have to bring flour at all.
V'idach l'gamar l'yashkon. There's no
such thing.
Why? Everything that the rich person has
to bring the poor person has to bring in
another form but to get out of it
completely that we don't find. Rebbi
banan hayu mincha u'v'lo shemen may have
the lay now we have to go in the
reverse.
What are Rebbi banan going to do with
Rebbi Elozar's pasuk that says l'minchah
u'v'lo shemen that for an entire mincha
even 60 is'aronim all you need is one
log?
Ah it's not the mincha. Any person who
decides
to give an nedavah of a mincha sh'leiv
chotz midavar at on log u'mayni'u
is'aron he has to give a minimum of
something that requires one log of oil
which means one is'aron. That is the
minimum. So I need a pasuk to tell me
that if you're
just what you wanting to give Hakadosh
Baruch Hu a gift a an nedavah of a
mincha don't bring a half a is'aron. You
need a full is'aron which requires one
log.
V'idach.
Trei d'shamos min oil we can learn from
this pasuk both things that it has to be
a minimum
as well as his original drasha.
Shisha l'par arba'ah ayil shlosha
l'kevas. Min olam.
So if you look at the pasuk very very
simple.
Look what it says over in the pasuk.
U'v'niska'em chatzi ayin yeilech apar.
The
bull gets a half a hin.
Ushlishis a hin, l'ayil.
These are famous pesukim said on Rosh
Chodesh.
A third of a hin
for the ram, the two-year-old sheep.
U'revi'is a hin, and a quarter of a hin
is for the sheep. Now, if I tell you
that a hin is 12 log,
12 log, so it's very easy, math is very
easy with 12.
Half of 12 is six.
A third of 12
is four.
A quarter of 12 is three.
So, therefore, when I say chatzi a hin
yela par, a half a hin, a half of 12 is
six log for the par.
Ushlishis a hin, the Torah tells us is a
third of a hin, a third of 12 for the
ayil, which would mean four.
U'revi'is a hin, a quarter of 12
luggim for the keves means three.
Gevaldig. I got it all, says the Gemara,
the same.
B'iskav chatzi hin yela par, ushlishis
ayil l'ayil, u'revi'is ayil l'keves. You
got it?
Hin, you should know a hin is treisar
luggin, luggin havyan.
A hin is 12 log. D'ksiv shmona asar
yasin.
U'ksiv shmona asar kodesh yihyeh zeh
l'dorosav.
Zeh
b'gematria treisar havyan. Since it says
the word zeh,
zeh is 12. Pela play.
You know, for most people, gematria is
like
the havana of things. Gematrias are
things that you say at a shabbos bracha
that the kallah has the same
name as the chasan's last name with the
kollel plus how much she weighs and etc.
etc. Then you get to the It's always
like this interesting gematria.
Over here, you have a gematria that's a
limud, that's a halacha.
Now, where you could say like the
Litvaks will say
that
ein adam dan
gematria m'atzmo elo im kein kibbel
m'rabboy. It's one of these things that
may chateisa, where did you get this
from? ChatGPT? Yeah. You have to get it
from your rebbe. You got it from your
rebbe, okay, great.
But it's
It's rare, but we did have it a a number
of times in Shas where we learn halacha
from a gematria.
Pela digga thing.
Zoch digga Gemara.
Shlosha metzos l'venei Noach.
Chatzi log l'chol ner. There's three and
a half log for the menorah every day.
That means each cup gets a half a log
per
candle, per light. Let's just see. I
know there's something here.
Ooh.
>> [snorts]
>> I missed this one.
Chaval.
Let's do it. This is ein ribbuy acher
ribbuy elo l'ma'it.
Ribbuy.
One salmon.
>> [music]
>> Now, there's another ribbuy. So, what
happens is less oil, no?
Less oil.
Hmm.
>> [snorts]
>> That's the offices of
the artists of MDY. So, I don't know
what they did there exactly. Okay,
gevaldig.
Here we go.
This is 12 hin from the word zeh.
12 12 log from the word
zeh.
The par gets six, chatzi a hin.
Got it. Okay, gevaldig.
I don't want to miss any more.
Huh?
We're here. Okay.
Each
Each candle gets a chatzi log.
Beautiful.
Okay.
And
Okay.
Says the Gemara, shlosha metzos l'venei
Noach chatzi log l'chol ner. M'nayin em
em em em em em
How do I know that this is what the
menorah gets? The Torah on bottom.
May'erev
ad boker. It says in the possuk that you
should light the menorah from evening to
Tell me does it stay lit from evening to
morning?
Give it enough oil that it could light
from
the evening to the morning.
And how much is that?
Chatzi log.
Davar acher, another pshat. May'erev ad
boker, ein melacha b'Yisrael she shera
may'erev ad boker elo zu bilvad.
There's no
avoda in the in the in the in the Beis
Hamikdash that went from the evening to
the morning. What else goes from the
evening like l'chatchila you should
start in the evening and it goes all the
way to the morning?
May of them must be
the menorah.
Elo chaval she shera may'erev ad boker
elo zu bilvad. It's
the the
the lighting of the menorah. B'shiur
says the Gemara, b'shiur chatzi log
u'l'vatzra.
And the chacham said it takes about a
half a log from morning to evening even
in the longest evenings of the night,
even if the night is 16 hours, this is
the amount of oil that we need. Ikka
d'amri, mil'ma'ala l'mata shi'eru. How
did they get to the amount?
The Ribono Shel Olam didn't tell them
the exact amount. So, they started from
from the hin. They started from the
largest amount
and they worked their way down all the
way till they got to They saw it was too
much. They got to the chatzi log.
Ikka d'amri, mim'ata l'ma'ala shi'eru.
They started with the a revi'is of a log
until they got to the half a log.
Man d'amar mim'ata l'ma'ala shi'eru, the
man d'amar that says they went from the
bottom to the top, hatar chosam m'mon
Yisrael.
The Ribono Shel Olam has rachmanus on
klal Yisrael's money, even if it's the
Beis Hamikdash's money, even though it's
not that much. It's just a one-time deal
to figure out how much oil we need to
burn in the longest night of the year.
So, you start out from the from the
lowest one.
It burns out at midnight, okay, so the
next night you give more, next night you
give more.
But you're not wasting any oil. Whereas
if you were to start with the full hin
and then
you realize you don't need a full hin
tonight, you have to toss it. You have
to start over again.
Man d'amar mil'ma'ala l'mata shi'eru.
You start from the top to the bottom.
Ein aniyus b'makom ashirus.
When there's the Beis Hamikdash where
every the walls are covered in gold and
the kelim are gold, you don't act like a
pauper.
You don't Certain times I walk into the
Beis Hamikdash and MDY say, "Why is the
air conditioner shut off here?"
I'm not going to say during what time of
the day it is, but certain people,
they're like, "Oh, we want to save
money." No, no, no, no, no. We're not
trying to save money here. We're trying
to make it comfortable and nice.
I'm saying this b'dafka cuz I'm I think
I'm I have a chashad that uh
somebody that that's involved with that
is not might be listening to this shiur
right now, even though he's not supposed
to.
But anyway,
there's such a
there's a there's a moshel called ein
aniyus b'makom ashirus.
You don't act
like a ani in a place
in a in a rebbe's place where the rebbe
every everything is gold and silver and
you're going to start like, "Oh,
I should We should try to save on a
chatzi log of oil because maybe it's
going to burn No.
Oh.
Yeshiva ein aniyus b'makom ashirus. Say
it with joy.
They're eating.
Lamb chops, they're eating over there.
Psh.
Yeshiva sat there chosam m'mon Yisrael.
Say it with joy.
The electrics are on the wall. It's a
>> [music]
>> dorm of the
takes his 10-in mattress.
And he goes to the other yeshiva.
Gevaldig.
All right.
Ad kan aleph kuf aleph.
Says the Mishna, we have a coffee here.
Let Let's do the Mishna first. Marvim
niskei niskei parim b'niskei elim.
I I think you did a little Oh.
Here.
If you look on the left,
the par and the ayil
have the same
What's the word I'm looking for? Mark.
Um
I'll say the word and then you'll know.
For every three isaron of flour,
there's six lug shamin. In other words,
two to one the ratio. Same ratio. Oh, I
got the word. Bon.
The ratio is two to one.
If you look at the the the ram all the
way on the left,
four lug shamin for two isaron of salis.
So, it's two to one. For every one
isaron of flour, there's two lug of
shamin. So, the ratio of the ram and the
bull are identical.
Therefore,
if you mix them up,
we'll talk about exactly when,
but if they get mixed up,
Now, look at the word arvin mische parin
ben ische ayil. You It seems like almost
from the lashon, if I were to ask you,
does it mean
after the fact or before the fact? Is it
l'chatchila? I could, if I would feel
like it, or it means if you already did
it, it's okay. Seems like from just from
reading it,
without any depth over here, arvin
mische parin ben ische ayil, it seems
like you can do it if you feel like it.
It's not after the fact. It's not a
b'di'eved, it's l'chatchila.
I have to get those words
straight. L'chatchila means
go ahead and you do it. There's nothing
stopping you and you're not doing
anything wrong. B'di'eved means you
shouldn't do it.
If you did it after the fact, it's okay.
So, again, the two guys on the left,
they are two to one ratio.
But, a keves, a sheep, is a three to one
ratio. You see, he has three
If I were Yoshi, I would have done
uh maybe not.
Let's see why he did it like that. Okay.
Is he has three lug for every isaron of
flour. So, the ratio is different.
Therefore, you cannot mix a sheep with a
cow. You can't mix a sheep with a ram.
Mische kvasim ben ben ische ben ische
kvasim. You could
mix two sheep together
to because they're both three lug of oil
to one lug.
So, you're not going to have any carbon
that's missing oil or has too much oil.
There It's exact The ratio is the same.
Shal yachid v'shal tzibur, I can mix
that of individual and the community
together. Daf p'tei tzom base. Shal
yachid v'shal eimish. Let's say I want
to bring the nisachim five days later, I
could do so. I brought my carbon on a
Sunday, I could bring my nisachim on a
Tuesday.
And they they mix.
Aval ein marvin mische kvasim ben ische
parin v'ayil. I cannot mix
these. Let's go back over here for a
second. Sorry, Mark.
I cannot mix
our guy on the right, a a sheep on the
right with a bull on the left or with
the ram on the left. Why? Cuz the ratio
is different. So, it'll come out that if
I do mix it, then the the um sheep on
the right is going to have too little
oil for his mincha. And the bull on the
left is going to have too much oil. And
that's both Both of those are a problem.
V'ein bol'lin.
Now, pay attention. This is the third
part of the mishna. I skipped the second
by mistake, but I didn't show you.
On top,
top line, if we go back one line, aval
ein marvin mische kvasim ben ische parin
v'ayil. That's part two of the mishna.
It's called ein marvin part.
And now we're doing part three of the
mishna. V'ein bol'lin. We'll call it the
ein bol'lin part three.
Eilu v'eilu You know what? Let me just
show you this uh
right after
You see, part one is marvin, part two is
ein marvin, and part three that we're
reading right now is bol'lin.
Part two is the line right above it. Ein
marvin, you're not permitted to mix the
nisachim of a sheep with the nisachim of
a bull. That's simple enough. Ein
marvin.
V'ein bol'lin. And if you did,
eilu v'eilu atzmo v'eilu v'eilu atzmo,
that's part three. We're going to go
away from this for now.
Just wanted to introduce you to it so
it's not too confusing.
V'ein bol'lin. Eilu v'eilu atzmo v'eilu
v'eilu atzmo. Let's say you mixed
the oil and the the three lug of oil of
If I mixed
the guy on the right all by itself,
three lug of oil with one isaron of
flour. All by itself. Mix it up. It's
kashar.
So, we got everything you needed. And I
mixed the bull. It's three isaron of
salis with six lug of shamin. Mix it all
up.
And only after that it got together,
v'ein bol'lin eilu v'eilu atzmo v'eilu
v'eilu atzmo v'nisarvu shav.
Then it's kashar. Eima achlei bol'lin.
But, if they got mixed, the the the
sheep and the cow got mixed beforehand,
just in the raw for form, raw form of
oil by itself and flour by itself,
pasul. Then it's pasul.
Next alacha. And we're not going to be
dealing with this that much. Hakeves
haba b'eimurim today.
The sheep that comes with the eimurim,
ah, riboisai, remember to say this
eimurim. Don't forget to say this
eimurim. Aval b'shishim v'shishim ful
Even though that the mincha that comes
with the eimurim is two isaron, double
the usual, so think if it's two isaron,
how much oil does it need? Six lug.
Look, you have the sheep over here. One
isaron of salis, the guy all the way on
the right, brings three lug of oil. So,
if it's two isaron,
should be six.
No. Lo yochlin nisach ful. You don't
have to
You don't have to double it up. Okay. Ad
kan hakafas base.
Says the Gemara. Now, we have a two four
six eight 10 12 line sugia.
V'eiminu.
Asks the Gemara.
It says in the pasuk, v'kitiroi.
You should be makdir. You should bring
this up on the mizbeach by itself.
V'kitiroi with a vav.
Don't say v'kitir. V'kitiroi. Eat it by
itself.
Shlo yariv chalav u'v'chalav. We learn
in the braisa that there's a issur

the Gemara. V'eiminu.
How could you tell me that you're
allowed to take the oil and the flour of
a bull and mix it with the oil and the
flour of a ram because it has the same
ratio? We learned that even v'kitiroi
shlo yariv chalav u'v'chalav, you can't
even take
the eimurim of one and mix it with the
eimurim of the other and put them
together. You want to save time going up
the ramp to the mizbeach. You throw this
carbon. No. Each carbon is by itself.
So, if each carbon is by itself, so too
every mincha should be by itself. Why
are you mixing the oils of two different
minchas in the in the the flour of two
different minchas?
Omer Rabbi Chiya bar Avin. Eim nisarvu,
omer.
Rabbi Chiya bar Avin is saying in part
one of the mishna
that the mishna says marvin, which I
would have read, you would have read,
marvin means go ahead and do it. You can
mix the bull and the
ram. No, no, no, no, no.
You shouldn't. If you did it, it was by
mistake, whatever,
then
it's okay. So, I put on top of number
one, the first part of the mishna,
b'di'eved. It's not l'chatchila. It's
only after the fact. Okay.
The problem is, let's just speak it out.
The problem is, how does it fit with the
rest of the mishna?
If the rest of the mishna, if let's say
number two is b'di'eved,
then number one must be l'chatchila
because we go
in order.
You start off from best to worst. You
start off up. This is okay. This is not
okay.
If number two
is a b'di'eved, then number one must be
l'chatchila.
Let's see inside.
Eihacha v'eim arvin mische kvasim ben
ische parin v'ayil.
That's number two, the second part of
the mishna says,
you shouldn't mix
the sheep with the You You cannot mix
sheep with bulls and rams, right? The
guy on the right side,
I'll show again.
Second part of the mishna says you can't
mix the right and the left. The sheep on
the right, he has a different ratio of
oil than the ram on the left has and the
bull on the left has a different ratio.
So, if so,
this is the kasha.
Oh.
Over there it says, v'eim arvin mische
kvasim ben ische parin v'ayil. V'afilu
nisarvu, namilo. And even b'di'eved,
not. Okay. So, number two became
b'di'eved no.
But, the problem is v'am edikta seifa
bol'lin.
Right? So, it seems like
part two of the mishna, ein marvin, is
even after the fact no good. If you
mixed the sheep with the with the bull,
no good even after the fact.
Problem is v'am edikta seifa.
Part three.
Part three says that if you did if you
if you mix them after they were mixed by
itself, each one by themselves were
mixed, and then you mix the two of them
together, it's kosher.
The ratio over here ratio does not mean
number one. Over here ratio means the
one before it. Number two, the ratio of
the killer comma. Oh boy.
If
number three is with the avid and number
three is worse is is
is worse than number two. So that now we
have to change number two to be the
killer. And if number two is the killer,
then number one is also the killer.
I should have done another one right
over here.
Where I should have shown that
number three is the avid but number two
is
the killer.
And if number two is the killer
then the beginning of the mission cuz it
goes in order. It goes from best to
worst. And if number two is great, it's
the perfect, it's the killer, then
number one has to be the killer.
So bottom line is if number one is the
killer
so we have a problem. We just said that
you now have to mix a more of you now
have to mix the killer of them together.
So if you now have to mix the killer of
them together, how come you can mix
the
the flower and the oil together?
Rebbe Yochana said that it's only with
the avid after the fact. We just proved
that number one cannot be after the
fact. Number one has to be the killer.
The bottom line is says Abaya
oh
we're going to change the shot of the
mission. Until now we thought the
mission is talking about mixing oil and
flour together. And now we have a
problem to say that
it's the killer because we have a price
that says you're not allowed to mix
things together.
Oh, we're not talking about the oil and
the flour. We're talking about the wine.
When? So I just added the word Yayin on
number one, Marvin Yayin.
When? If the
if you're not supposed to mix the oil
and the the flour together the killer
but let's say
why? Because that we learned Victorious,
you're not supposed to. But let's say
you did. Let's say it happened.
So if the
oil and the
flour are mixed, then you're permitted
to mix the wine.
Now here's the problem.
It seems like you have to come out to
the step that you mix the oil and the
flour, then you're allowed to do the
wine. What about if you didn't mix the
the oil and the the shot? You're not
allowed to mix the wine. The end of the
killer lie, you can't mix wine. But I am
in the middle of my arm or in the side
of the Shaban. The middle of my arm or
in the side of the Shaban, you can't mix
the
the sheep and the and the cow, the sheep
and the the bull, those two things,
right? The one on the right, the one on
the left, you can't mix them. What are
you not mixing?
The oil
and the flour. I will yell my arm. You
can take the wine of the sheep and the
wine of a bull and mix the Let's say you
don't want to go up to the misbehave.
It's too heavy. You don't want to do all
these strips.
You go up to misbehave once. And then I
have a little bit of wine from a bull, a
little bit of wine from a sheep. The
ratios are different when it comes to
the oil and the flour, but not the wine.
I don't care. So I'll take the No, I
will yell my arm and says he over here
you can mix the wine of a cabis and and
a pair.
Okay.
So therefore, I got to go away from what
we wrote on number one that we're
talking about mixing of the wine.
What is the shot now?
Talking about something else.
And all my bio he come out and then
we're done with the suit. It's only
three lines. Holy God, hey the hook that
sold them the Shaman.
When you already put
the the oil and the flour on the
misbehave
then my arm yell and
then I can go ahead
and mix the wines. Why?
I'm not concerned that you might go and
mix oil and flour. That's our big
concern cuz if you mix oil and wine and
flour together, that's a you're over in
the Israel Victorious.
So
once it's on the misbehave, it's already
burned.
I'm not concerned. So I'm not concerned
I can bring the wine.
So number one is my arm yell and
I'm permitted
to bring the wine to mix wines, mix two
types of wines from a sheep and a bull
when there's no concern about the oil
and the flour because oil and flour are
already on the misbehave.
But
when the oil and the flour are not on
the misbehave, even the side of the
Shaban my arm yell and I am yelling. It
depends. If
they already got mixed in, they were
they already mixed it up, then you could
you could go and mix the wine even the
killer. You can go and mix the the the
bull and the and the the sheep's wine.
But love but if their oil and the flour
are not mixed, I am yelling.
Then you shouldn't mix the wines. Why?
The most of the roof is side of the
Shaban the killer because then you might
come and get mixed up and you might
um
you might mix the the the the flour and
the oil which that is is the race of
Victorious.
Okay. So that's that's so good.
Let's see if I have another one here.
No, that's it.
Okay. Woo.
They didn't tell me Minchas is
difficult. Not difficult. Cabis about my
arm yell.
So now it's super easy.
The the sheep that comes together with
the arm yell.
Said it has double the amount of flour
but not double the amount of oil. The
bottom line of Minchas is Shnayim
Yisraelim.
It comes with double the amount of
flour, two.
Two Yisraelim. Limit of Cabis about my
arm yell Minchas is full of full of.
Teaches us that the
sheep that comes with the arm yell, it
has a double Mincha. Yochana Shimon
Minchas is full of Kachi and Kacha.
Maybe you should bring double the amount
of wine.
Tamar like a full hen. Tamar Vinisco
Yayin Revi'is Ayin.
Sorry, a half an.
Tamar says no, you should only bring a
Revi'is.
Ah, reminds me of a Maiseh
that a Rosh Yeshiva went to a Brisker
Chasanah.
And he got a brocha by the Chuppah.
And he takes the the cup of wine.
And he goes like this.
So after the Chuppah someone asked, "Why
do you put it above your head?"
He says, "Listen.
I saw from the size of the cup
that they hold a Revi'is is that much.
Now, typically you're supposed to have
lifted a Tefach, let's say, off the
table. So maybe it was at the Shabbos. A
Tefach.
So if a Revi'is instead of being this
much
is that much, so Tefach instead of being
this much is that much. I had to go
above my head."
Vinisco Revi'is Ayin. Yochana Yayin Ayin
Kafel.
Shayin Minchas. Okay, I understand why
the wine is not double because you don't
mix wine together with the flour.
But the ratio will just change.
If it's three log for one Yisrael, then
it should be six log of oil for two
Yisraelim.
Why should it remain three log of oil
for two Yisraelim? Something's wrong.
The wine is a Revi'is and so is the oil
Revi'is. All the Minchas. My Tamar Why
it says Minchas referring to wine, not
referring to oil. Why would you say it
includes oil also?
Omar Rebbe Elazar Vinisco cuz in fact it
doesn't say with a Vav, it says with a
Hay.
The Karina Viniscoi but we read it it's
three Krixiv. It's written one way, it's
written read another way. And we read it
Viniscoi his. Okay, he said Minchas the
Mincha, the oil the Minchas of the
Mincha meaning the oil can mix the Ayin
or like the Minchas of the wine. My Ayin
Revi'is
number Revi'is. Because the Torah
switched from a Hay to a Vav to teach us
that oil is like the wine and both of
them are only Revi'is, not a half an.
Omar Rebbe Yochana Asham Tzo'ir O
Asham Tzo'ir Shachas Shloshim Ayin Tonin
Minchas. Says Rebbe Yochana
the Metzora
here, going back to the Metzora.
What happens when you shach the the
Asham of the Metzora thinking to
yourself that it's a Shlamin?
So that's called Lo Lishmah.
But as we learned in the first Mishnah
of Seder Zevachim
you continue performing the Avodah. You
don't throw it out into the garbage
unless it's a Chatas or a Carbon Pesach.
Those are the two that if you messed up
on the Lishmah, you thought they were
another Carbon, you throw it out.
But he says it's not good enough just to
continue. You got to continue pretend
that it's an Asham Metzora.
Tonin Minchas. You have to give it in
the Minchas.
Like a regular Asham wouldn't require
Minchas.
But since this is a Asham of a Metzora
and the Asham of a Metzora comes with
wine
and flour, so you have to you have to
continue with that. Here, you see? The
guy is holding wine and flour, oil and
flour.
Says the Gemara
Shimiya To'eim Kein Pesulah.
Otherwise, if you don't bring the
Minchas as necessary, you don't bring
the flour and the oil make it pasul.
Masculine of Nachshon bar Abin Gadol, I
don't understand something.

it's not for the carbon
it's for the but they have the same name
one is the the other is
that's why we talk about it
if you don't do exactly the way the
meaning with the flour and the oil
there's
no such thing as bringing an in the

have to
have a right to
if you have a
what's
if you bring a
you don't have the right intent that
it's a for a but it's let's say you
think to yourself it's a
you bring all the things that have come

the and the flour.
So he says

you
brought the
but you didn't have the right or you
didn't put the blood on the thumb and on
the big the big finger I raise the oil

it goes in the but don't and you have to

another one instead of it
