>> WHO NEEDS MERCY miracles and all the
kind live from Morocco.
From the Banyan Tree.
The nicest hotel that I've ever been to.
MDY, top of the top. Yossi Klein.
Only the best. The best of the best of
the other.
>> [applause]
>> I want to mention our unbelievable
caters and the ones who organized the
whole trip.
The Nesiya, Nesiya's travel.
Yishar Koach to Shimi Weiss and all the
guys
that are working very hard and
tirelessly. So, wherever we went, we had
three singers and a band.
And for Shabbos, we have five singers
and no band.
Uh it's just incredible. We have two of
the top speakers in Klein Israel today,
Rabbi Ari and Yossi Ben Shushan.
Together they they mamish they
Yesterday
we had a
I said it already in sheer comic relief.
It was just
spontaneous
good vibes, good let's honest.
It was unbelievable. And wherever we go,
of course, it's Torah. Right now, we're
just a couple of hours before Shabbos.
And we're sitting learning Torah. This
morning, we had a sheer for an hour.
And uh it's Torah. It's chatzi lachem
v'chatzi l'Hashem.
It's a lot of gashmius
and a lot of ruchnius and a lot of uh
chavrusaft and and bonding and
and seeing great places and doing it's
just a it's unbelievable experience.
Unbelievable. And we're very much
looking forward to Shabbos.
Shabbos kodesh. It's going to be
unbelievable.
Um a few things. I want to remind all of
them to say Sefiras HaOmer. So,
depending on where you are and what you
are, this might be the day. This might
be the day.
Um Sefiras HaOmer is the first time I'm
learning Mishnayos.
K'vod Kedushas Moreinu v'Rabbeinu
Yisrael ben Leah Esther l'forash l'eima.
Dov, I have to I have to apologize. I
just I want to be selfish. I want to be
able to see the view.
Cuz that that's pretty much my only
chance today or during this trip. I was
hoping I was
really counting on going after this
year. It's going to be 2 hours and I'm
going to go. And then the the internet
fell and
uh
we put it back up and kids are
Um this we saw yesterday.
So, these are the the security guards.
They they
>> [laughter]
>> Me.
>> [laughter]
>> And then and then
>> [laughter]
>> And now you have uh Benny's son who's 10
years old. He thought that his father is
real in the AI. And he says sends him a
message. He says, "You explain p'shat
very well." He says. [laughter]
Here it is. Here.
Oops.
Maybe I have to click it there. I'll
click.
Daddy.
Bye. Mushroom only.
>> [laughter]
>> Heavy duty with shininess.
Um yeah, he calls him daddy. Very
interesting. Sure I'll make a belly.
I'll try to keep it short. It's
something of base since something of
base which equals 2,000 days straight of
Torah. The emails that say I've never
missed a day are definitely a harsh of
accomplishment. Recifus is incomparable
to fragmented learning. At the same time
however, even if one can't say that they
never missed a day if they're still in
the Yummy mentality, each day stands
alone and it's better no matter what
happened yesterday. Thank you for 2,000
days. See my email from November 24th,
2020.
Yankel Sham Schreiber, he has enclosed a
song called Shabbos song with my brother
my brother-in-law and he was in Yummy
growing from the Hebrew sheer.
I didn't get this here yet. Makes no
difference. So this [snorts] I thought
was very interesting cuz I got in the
same day or very very behind the new
emails.
Uh but we'll try to have some good ones.
Two of them from a Yeshiva bocher and a
Kyle guy. So
the mainstream so to speak. I'm a bocher
in Yeshiva bocher Sham I'm successful in
my learning. However, even during my
breaks I started getting into watching
movies and TV shows. One of my friends
suggested MDY and at first I brushed it
off saying nah, what I needed for I'm
bocher in Yeshiva. I love it. He's
bocher in Yeshiva but movies are okay
but the Yummy is terrible.
I learned MDY I I I learned MDY for a
bottom but he insisted saying how I'd
love it. It's interactive and
entertaining etc. So I decided to join
for good.
Now I know I shouldn't speak too soon
but since we started changed me. Instead
of going to my room at breaks to watch
movies, I now go to watch the sheer.
Even though I've learned this part of
cool in the past already learning on a
whole new level with the props and
picture. I really hope it goes through
the whole cool and if the taket t a k k
e h goes well, maybe I'll continue with
the highest. Thank you so much hot sloka
the oil.
Dear everybody
my letter is not like all the other
letters.
I'm going to stand out letters and call
letters.
I learn in college all day truly enjoy
my learning and have tremendous
satisfaction from it. In the evenings
when I no longer have the concentration
to keep learning I enjoy watching this
year usually just the videos and it
gives me a real
when in parentheses somebody says I
usually just watch the videos that means
I watch the sheer at one speed from
beginning to end not even a 1.2 speed
that's what usually what it means that's
code that's my code. I spoken enough
people to know that that's what it
means.
What?
0.75 and sometimes he does
three or four times but he's a guy he
says listen I I don't always watch the
whole sheer a lot of times it's just the
the videos okay.
Now when a boss says it
a boss tells me listen I watch this year
every day I'm doing well that's code for
I see my friend's status once a month
maybe once every two weeks I saw that
video of 30 seconds that's what it means
they said as always that's the side.
So
Thank you very much I wanted to point
out a few things there was a video about
sending the
it appeared that the lottery box was
made of gold but specifically says it
was made out of wood.

Shkoyach.
This is from a woman in Israel who says
I have to I have to let you know that
I've been doubting for my husband was a
great guy he's a Yeshiva product and he
tries to learn whenever he can but he
tried here and there didn't really work
and I'm doubting for years
and finally found the sheer it's a
treasure under the bridge.
The time of the came she says.
It's my mission close to where we live.
It's a beautiful atmosphere.

What else do we have?
Um MDY Art month for me Jonathan the man
Sheva Bracha. Oh, this is a big so I was
going to say that Mordy Rubin he got on
a plane and came just for Shabbos.
He did He did an unbelievable job of
just all the stuff that that has to do
with Morocco and the the history and
different things and hugging and
just different bottom. He spent hours
upon hours and he spends hours upon
hours on our website. He just showed me
brand new app MDY app. So, you should go
to my Thank you for enhancing my
Shabbos. It was a big surprise. Thank
you Mordy.
Uh turning of the daf. Not there yet.
Okay.

First name Jonathan
Oh,
you're right. I wonder why. MDY Art.
Refuah Shlema Jonathan ben Bracha.
Refuah Shlema Mordechai ben Esther.
Refuah Daniel ben Esther.
Omar Mar. They're holding up the design
of the daf.
Guys have it. Design of the daf. Omar
Mar.
I am working with the shears. Very
interesting Sugyas as usual. Shulchan
Aruch turning out to be fascinating.
If somebody shechts with a wheel, with a
machine,
so here's a picture.
Here's the machine.
So, there's a wheel, but the wheel
itself is not what's doing the cutting.
There's a knife on the bottom of the
wheel.
It's a little sideways, but okay, you
get the idea.
And you put the animals this way and it
shechts
by you
pushing some lever which pushes which
turns the knife which cuts the animal
says the Gamara, it's a good shita even
though it's on a wheel, it's like a
machine.
Mukhni is like a mukhana like a like a
machine.
But Tanya shita is pasula. But it says
somewhere else
that we even mentioned it, the shita is
pasul. So you if you use a machine it's
pasul. It'd be great. Imagine you put a
a knife on a machine and all the shitas
have to do is move animals past the
machine. Cut cut cut. He doesn't have to
do anything with the zed.
They got you.
Ha bisarna de fakhra. There's a machine
they used to use to make
earthenware. Today I know that they have
these machines that spin the earthenware
and with your hand you mold it in
certain ways. Maybe that's what it is. I
have no idea.
But they used to use a machine.
And that is considered koah adam. It's
the power of the person, the human
being, pushing a pedal
with his foot, with his hand. It's it's
it's human power.
Like a like a bicycle. A bicycle would
be human power. You go like this and
you're powering with your legs.
Oh, but ha bisarna de maya. When you
have a What is this called in English?
A wheel that turns from the water.
A water wheel, okay.
What a what what a khap.
A water wheel, it gets all its power
from
Hakadosh Baruch Hu. Human zero
intervention at all.
And that turns and spins a knife, that's
no good.
Now there is one situation where a water
wheel would be okay.
Water mill, but that's the mill.
This is not a mill. This is for uh
for shita.
What is the case where a water
wheel works?
And it's okay. When you open up the
water
and the initial gush of water
starts the wheel to spin. That is
considered human power. Why? Cuz with
your human power you open up the water
and the water came and pushed it.
5 seconds later, however many seconds it
is, 2 5, it's already no longer it's no
longer human power. That is already from
the from the from the water. A great
example would be if you're on a plane
you're on a you're in a in a restaurant
somewhere and there's no water uh thing.
You have to wash your hands. So what do
you do?
You want to wash negel vasser in the
morning woke up on a plane. You're on a
United flight and you want to what? What
do you do? So a good aid to me is to
push the water and stick your hand in
immediately
or stick your hand, push the push the
button. Take your hand out. You have to
wait for it to stop and then you do it
again.
There's only like 25 pushes like that on
a plane and then the water runs out so
you got to be careful.
Yeah.
So that's what they say. NO. NO.
Y'ALL SEE. Y'ALL SEE.
You can't you can't do anything about
this noise.
>> [laughter]
[snorts]
>> I was once at a shear
and a cat came by
and Rebyosi ben Shushan said machlokes
machlokes machlokes and the cat died on
the spot.
>> [laughter]
[laughter]
>> Yeah.
No, seriously. You know what it means to
be on a trip that all 7 days you have
the the ben Shushan brothers?
They
They speak and I can't wait for the for
the Shabbos. I don't want to put the
pressure on. No pressure. Just remember
Rebyosi uh of you, you can't make me
cry. It's also the crying showers, yeah?
It's easy. We can't You got to be Just
try.
Very good. Very good.
And now they might tell us the other
answer.
That even with the water will there's a
way that it's mutar to shecht with and
there's ways assur.
Because like because of rishon, the
initial burst of water is considered
your force. Your force, good good
shechita. How about acharonim? But once
you whatever that acharonim is, 2
seconds later, 5 seconds later, the the
turning a complete
um rotation of the wheel, then it's
already or whatever it is, I'm not sure
what it is, something it's already not
your it's already water that's going to
continue going. Imagine I turned on I
opened up the
the dam.
And now it's my for for 45 years. No
way. It lasts only for a few seconds and
that's it. Then the rest is is is Hashem
pushing the water through.
Says the Gemara
like Rava Papa, great story.
If somebody
ties up his friend and
he puts on him some sort of stream of
water and he dies he drowns. Chiyuv.
Why why why is he chiyuv? You did not
obey. This is
shooting an arrow at somebody. So over
here he shot a bunch of water on him
until he died.
But how do you know this is because of
rishon? If he died from the initial
force, I will shine you grow
but once it's the second force
whatever that means that he's patur. We
have a
video. Take a look. This will explain
the whole sugiya.
I recommend that everybody that's behind
the screen should come to the front of
the screen.
You're able to see?
You know it's a lot of fun. It's fun.
I'm going to go get the cash. Wait here.
>> This is the most gruesome video we've
ever done.
What's good eye?
>> [laughter]
[laughter]
>> Yeah.
The device the device of dial is going
to remember that
you know what?
Okay.
So it's good my alma.
How you doing? You enjoying? Yeah, I'm
good. I just I was
>> [laughter]
>> That's okay. It's okay. Go. Yeah, yeah.
Thank you.
We finish soon.
You also rather heard Rabbi here says
the more my son.
You know in in in Yeshiva it's not like
this. Let's say
Rabbi sitting where I'm sitting
a time of the sitting right in front
and then there's the second row.
Rabbi imagine this Rabbi who's the God
of the other
but he started out somewhere. He learned
by Rabbi. Rabbi was the one who wrote
the Mishnah
and Rabbi is the the first time I wrote.
Rabbi was the last time I wrote. Rabbi
was the first time I wrote slightly a
time I wrote. They call him
he's
uh
time I wrote
we could consider him a time I wrote
because where's the cut off line
exactly? So he he's right there. Even
Rabbi who was his contemporary is not
considered a time I wrote.
So but at a certain point he sat behind
Rabbi here. He was in row two. He wasn't
up front. Uh when I learned in in the
sake I learned in the sake for two years
so in order to sit in row one
the true ones sat there. You know the
guys that you should for a long time and
then the guys that understood the sheer
the sheer row one. I was row seven. You
know what I mean? Like for two years.
Yeah yeah.
What?
With who?
With Rabbi?
Yesterday?
Listen yes this is too far away. No yeah
you're pushing it.
So you also rather heard the Rabbi here.
Rabbi who who's Rabbi here now?
Who's Rabbi here? You wrote the you
wrote the braces.
You also rather heard the Rabbi here.
Rabbi here come in the Rabbi. Rabbi here
sits in front of the Rabbi. You be also
Rabbi come in.
The Rabbi says when I
was here he wrote
how do you know he wrote it must be done
with something
detached from the ground. It can't be
attached to the ground.
Rabbi here now takes the knife to shut
it's hard.
So
the Rabbi says you know there's a whole
thing here. How do you prove from here
this before my entire okay.
I call upon him there's no TV for
Shlita.
Because I'm a class.
He went and he took something that's
detached.
Why else would it would the tire tell us
that he took the knife?
All the
all the Rav
so Rav was sitting in row two taps his
you know
row one says my camera what is he
talking about? What is Rebbe talking
about?
So listen you know it's kind of a
it seems like almost. All the way
above the
was the camera.
I I'm very proud of Yossi. I I told him
I don't like
what another artist did because the the
other artist and it goes according to
one of the they say he did it with the
grain. I I wanted I felt it should be
against the grain. I felt I like that
shot better. So I
So this is more like it against the
grain. You're writing above against the
grain so you have a ton of cuts in the
valve. It's it's split up.
So in in like 23 seconds he sends me
back the new version and it's all fixed.
Great.
So basically he's saying Rebbe tells Rav
you're right.
It's a good thing you tap me on the
shoulder because I I I I agree with you
100%. I don't think Rebbe knows what
he's talking about. That's basically
what they're saying.
Rebbe Rebbe Kodesh tell me them
mistake. Okay?
So he says
the the
crow camera brings a right from
what he he's not saying to listen.
He says cross you missed it from what
you said. Rebbe here is telling Rav that
this possible you can't bring a right
from the possible. The tire is just
telling us what Rebbe knew how how
how how he had reasons. What's reason
mean?
He didn't want to have any issues with
knives and looking for a knife. I'm
going to get there I'm going to have it.
I'm going to do it.
It remind me of my mission of the
Maggid,
himself.
He brought a knife to Morocco
to have Zrizus.
We have a Shvirah. Just Just so he can
say
Then I felt I felt good. I felt good cuz
you told me that you're scared of the
knife. And Baruch Hashem, you worked on
yourself and and hopefully you won't
have trauma when I show the knife in
Shiur.
You just watching Benny. He goes like
this every time. Every time he swings
it.
Yeah.
Don't worry about it. I come see later.
And listen,
if there's blood, it's better rating
ratings. The blood crawl on my craw is
not a problem at all.
Great.
So I'll talk to you tomorrow. Omar Rava.
Just want to make sure we have
everything. Oh, what's this?
What was this? I didn't Oh, we didn't
get there yet.
Uh uh uh
Uh okay. You have all the
>> [snorts]
>> Omar Rava.
Pshita Li Tolish Mi Devarim Sheb'Avodah
Zarah
Have a Tolish. So first, Rava starts out
talking about Avodah Zarah. And then he
brings it back to our Sugya when it
comes to Shchita. Now, what?
How do we view something that used to be
detached and you made it something
attached? For instance,
a brick.
You build a home.
Everything in this hotel right here
behind us, all these beams,
were once upon a time detached. They
weren't attached. They detached. Unless,
you know, they
they got them from the ground or
something. But these are all man-made
materials, probably, like cement or
whatever.
Detached.
So when you take something detached and
you attach it, then it becomes a
Muchbar, does it have a Halacha of
detached or attached? Which one is it?
So, there's a Halacha in Avodah Zarah
that tells us that if it's
attached,
it cannot become a It's Mutar B'Hana'ah.
So in other words, if I worship a
mountain
if he worships a mountain for a desire,
he cannot make the mountain also. He can
make an animal also because it's
detached. He can make a glass into a
desire, but he cannot make a mountain.
Why? Because the mountain is the whole
world.
What about a house?
What about a house? Can you make a house
of a desire? The answer is yes.
And why? How can you explain it? The
only way to explain it is cuz it used to
be detached and it's attached now. But
this is the fact that it's attached now.
Let's make it attached. So, therefore,
he says, "You see what happened, Dave?
The sun went behind me now. In the
morning, it was we were on the opposite.
Now, it's made a full circle. It's weird
how that happens even in Morocco. The
sun goes
>> [laughter]
>> Morocco's flat here. Morocco's Morocco's
flat.
Huh?
Later. I've never been This is I I I I
have to say this out loud cuz I know
you're thinking it.
This is the first time that I could
think of that
the oil wants to get stuck in Morocco
for a few more weeks.
>> [laughter]
>> Yeah, yeah. What? Trump is going to
bomb? Yeah, I think it's I think it's
happening. And what are we going to do?
What? We're going to stay in the banyan
tree for 3 weeks? Oy vey. Oy vey. What
about the kids? Oy no.
Yes. Yes. She loves Please bomb. Please.
First time ever.
Wow.
He's got to do what he's got to do.
No, no, we might have to stay here.
>> [laughter]
>> Which wasn't the banyan tree. Which
wasn't the banyan tree.
>> [laughter]
>> With the Ventriloquism Brothers. As long
as we can get the meat from Europe. The
only thing we have one problem, we don't
have any sperm. What are you going to
learn? Okay, the Vietnam.
Okay, all my brothers.
She So, we said this.
Oh.
No, I'm not. I must have a little bit of
oil and sorrow. So, here I want to stop
for a second.
This was a body cuz I I told him already
what I was going to say here.
I'm just talking about the by shul,
I believe is is a is a common thing in
chutz la'aretz. We don't have it that
much in Eretz Yisrael.
Uh especially in the neighbors that we
live in. There are neighbors and nice
neighbors in Eretz Yisrael, but not not
in Beit Shemesh.
In America, you have a mishakhavel by
shul.
Guy builds a gorgeous house.
He puts in his whole thing. Sometimes
you see people I know a guy in his 80s
that's that built a house. Mamash in his
80s. Uh like and What are you thinking?
By the time it's done, by the time you
move in, like what what is what's going
on here? Seriously. That's very You
don't need a good actually for that one.
And and people No, people start building
these houses in their 50s, 60s. This is
it's very interesting. So,
you mishakhavel, you you go, you buy the
marble from here, and you this and that.
But what's what's what's beautiful? When
I was
we built a beautiful house in Chicago,
right? 1,100 square feet. And one of my
friends built
11,000. What did I say? 11,000 square
feet. And one of my friends
one of my friends' wife I just saw in in
the she's she was in a Fortune 500 and a
very famous firm lady, very masculine.
They built a house with a basketball
court inside. I was like, "What a shock
house I have." And then and the next guy
I'm not I'm not Okay, you can't make
this stuff up. He has a basketball court
and then he says, "I'm going to have a
pool
AND A BASKETBALL COURT." And one of the
guys, one of my best friends, uh he's
part of the shul. I I I even gave a
bunch of shul members house. He has a He
has a pool that makes the Byern trees'
pool look like mamash like like like a
mikvah in the in the in the Mea Shearim.
It's gorgeously gorgeous. So, the the
point is that no matter what you have.
Then I thought about it. Hey,
yesterday we were in a unbelievable
hotel. I was I myself was taking
pictures. I built a hotel once. And my
family's into hotels. We have hotels and
cool and cool. And I really appreciated
this hotel. This hotel, the design, the
Moroccan had a room there. I don't know
if you guys saw this Moroccan
restaurant.
The cigar bar and a dish and that and
the ceilings the entry
And then you come here and it's like,
what? That that piece of garbage? It's
rubbish garbage hotel like like if we
would have stayed there I would have
been rubbish happy. But Shabbos in the
Radisson
of of the Maria Maris. Sorry, yeah. I
don't I know they changed them. The
Marriott in Fez
rubbish tops tops. It was one of the
nicest hotels I've been to period.
But my say compared to this it's like
it's garnished. And then I remember what
Rabbi Reuven Shushan told me this
morning. He said
you know what the biggest Gehenna is?
The biggest Gehenna
is when you get up to Gan Eden and they
show you unbelievable mansion
and you look next door and you see
that's half the size of the guy next to
you. That is Gehenna. Gehenna. You're in
Gan Eden but it's Gehenna.
No? It's it's
What?
No. I don't whatever. I mean Gan Eden.
Reb Elly's room has a second bedroom.
Yeah. Is that
>> [laughter]
>> So everybody here has a
You can't even You can't even use it.
You can't even use it. It's like
Yeah, it's the same thing.
Right.
>> [snorts]
>> I'll just I'll just I'll just move out
of the way.
>> [laughter]
>> Yeah. This is recorded. Don't worry.
It's hidden recording. Yossi has it all
figured out. All right. So that's I'm
just talking about the issue. The point
is that you get a chisel. You get a
chisel cuz at the end of the day even if
when you get up there and you get a Gan
Eden with the with the there's going to
be rivers and Zaken and ocean from views
but it's going to hurt how much more you
could have had. And you don't realize
how much more you could have had until
you see it. You only see it when We
didn't know that this is a Muslim even.
But, once you're in the Muslim, like
What? I'm going to go to Holiday Inn
now? I'm going to go to
How do you do it? How do you How do you
What?
Yeah.
Okay?
Zog the Gemara.
Beautiful. Zog the Gemara.
So, if you if you bow to your own house,
a sorry, you make your house awesome.
The what?
That there's a Muslim that their gods
are on the mountains, but not the
mountains are the gods. The The mountain
can't be a god. The mountain can't be a
mizara.
Just the mizara on the mountain.
There's a possuk that tells us a famous
we said in we had this in a mizara
that a mountain that's
cannot be a mizara. You can't answer it.
And
we have to understand why a house is
awesome. And the answer is cuz a house
started out not
and you made it a mizara.
This is different.
Let me show you. You know, you can go.
Go go go go go by the seder.
No, men. Let Let men go by. Just It's
It's fine. It's fine.
What?
>> [laughter]
>> He said he said
He said men, not boys.
They just
It's
Ask me if Ask me if it bothered me. The
kid was in a
Do it again. I don't care. It depends
where. It depends what.
All on the matzah.
Oh.
So, now we have a beautiful Let me show
you this. Again, if you don't remember
this video. Oh. First of all, ele hayem
al haram.
Here's Here's a ele hayem al haram Rebbi
Shaya, take a look.
>> [groaning]
>> So, you can't You can't make a a har of
avoda zara. Why would some He's trying
to It's always an explanation. Why would
somebody want to worship a a mountain?
Does it save his life?
So,
Oh, sweet pinzo.
Tell him not to call him else here,
please.
Oh, my
Does he not Oh, cuz he doesn't have to
We're doing this. Now, Rebbi Shaya, this
is one of my favorites.
It's a recent one, but it's one of my
favorites.
In order for any food item to become
tame, it has to be muchal tuma. It has
to have
uh a situation where you put you put one
of the seven liquids on it. Water, let's
call it. Blood, water, dew.
Min ha Torah, fruits aren't mekabel tuma
unless they were first muchal mekabel
tuma.
And there are three tnayim that need to
be in place in order for the fruits to
be muchal to Unbelievable.
First tnai, that they shouldn't be
muchal mekabel tuma. Because as long as
the pri is muchal As long it's not
mekabel tuma at all, even if water fell
on it. As the pasuk says, zera zarua
asheri zarea tahor hu.
The second tnai, that one of the shivas
mashkin should fall on them, which are
machsher them mekabel tuma. Yayin,
devash, shemen, chalav Look at the
blood. The blood
The third tnai,
>> [sighs]
>> That this should be muchal the same
color.
Because if water fell on it little
tunnel.
It's not more sure.
As the text says
for you done. And we're going to
clean for you done. That's over the
water.
And only after the priest told me that I
They see this. One of the machine was
put on it both of them are on it. Now
the priest martial art capital
tournament.
And if it over told me was in the game
in it, it becomes Tommy.
Oh.
Now, I want to tell you a few more for
the sewer.
Another dish.
If you want to use the water
for any other purpose, stop. You want to
use the water.
And then that water touches your fruit,
it's also martial arts capital
tournament. You don't need
to put the to want the water to go on
your fruit. You need to want the water,
let's say, to wash out your path.
And then the water goes.
Now.
Right? Even if it if if whatever that
that usage was, even if it wasn't for
food
it's considered cute.
But it has to be something that's not
correct. Let's say I want water to wash
my roof. I have too much dust on my roof
on my on my on my skylight. So I want
the water to wash it down. And then the
water goes and hits my fruit. It's not
martial arts capital tournament. Why?
Because that water was for my neighbor.
Now that we know this, we go by there.
It says this not.
Oh, we have to write in tonight. So now
we have
when it comes to martial arts capital
tournament. This not. How can we all the
somebody flips over a bowl
on a wall. Why did he flip it over?
Because he took that. So that the
the vessel should be rinsed out. How is
the
that water is good enough to go on the
fruit and make the martial arts capital
tournament because I wanted the water to
wash out my my dish, and my dish is not
kava karka. Bishul shul
What if I put I flip over the pot so
that my wall that I just painted
shouldn't get wet? Any
because that's for the wall and not for
something that's tallish. It's for a
which is a wall. Wall's kava.
As I go over this
I'm just going to
I'm just going to share this cuz food my
head I shouldn't be talking about this,
but it doesn't matter. I'm going to say
it anyway. Am I getting into trouble? Is
this
So this thing itself, I don't know if
anybody noticed,
but
to me it seems like
we're going a lot of times
and we're fighting for things that are
less important than important things.
For instance, the
The was shut down.
was shut down for a long time.
I haven't heard one protest. Not one
person tried to break into the that I
know of.
But the by like by man.
Oh, that's a that
people went crazy in their protest and
they broke in all the
But isn't the
I don't understand. Isn't it
No, it's the so.
No, it's sometimes people make a bigger
fuss out of the to me. I don't get I'm
going to get into trouble for some What
do you mean? How can you compare? Yeah,
but
maybe the is more
I don't know. People might tell me that.
I don't know. But even if they do, I
don't care. I'm I'm just saying what I
what I
The
I don't remember anybody making a So it
was shut down for a month. Who cares?
You can't go to the
No, no.
Okay. By there. Oh, it's talking
today. Yeah, today. Oh.
Oh.
I should have said that
I should have said that how to say. I
had a I had the opportunity. Okay. So
tomorrow
Oh, she said she said she said hello.
Talk to me more.
So, says in tomorrow.
I can't let them surely agree then.
What time is it? So, we are What's the
What's the What's the catch?
If you do it to wash out the dish,
that's considered good water to be
master of the capital.
But, if you did it to wash the wall,
ain't no big deal. So, washing the wall
is not a is not a is not good water.
If you flipped over the dish to protect
the wall, then it's not good water.
Then I can infer I can make a deal.
But, if you want to wash the wall, so
then I I'm inferring two opposites. So,
what do I do? So, one one option is I'm
going to blow the cover. You're right,
it's a broken thing.
It's a like this.
And this [clears throat] is exactly what
Robert referred to before. They have a
like this when it comes to
>> [cough]
[clears throat]
>> One man holds that by my neighbor.
My neighbor you you want the water from
my neighbor, it is considered good water
for my natural capital. One holds not.
No,
this is one kind of a kind of a kind of
a kind of a kind of a kind of a kind of
a kind of a kind of a
The wall of a kind of a kind of a kind
of a kind of a kind of a kind of a kind
of
Meaning it was
You dug out a a cave, but there's a
cave. The wall was there from the
beginning.
So, that's my neighbor. It's my neighbor
from the beginning. But, you have a wall
that you built like a hotel wall. That's
a hotel that's man-made. So, even though
it's to the car, it's not considered my
neighbor.
This
is what I meant to say.
If you flip over a ball on a wall
because you want to rinse out your
cleat, then it's considered good water
for for for most of the capital tone.
But, if you want the wall to get clean,
that's not considered good water.
We're in tomorrow because we know and
then it goes on to explain
we're going to explain the difference is
if it's a pre-existing wall from time of
then it's considered
we're going to go to being. But, if it's
a regular wall from a home
that you're doing it that the the wall
the the wall shouldn't get get wet.
Sorry. If you don't want the wall the
wall to get ruined, it's not considered
good water. But, if you want that the
wall should get
rained on and and and cleaned, then it
is considered good water.
Now, how does this whole thing have to
do with it?
So, by rubber
tells us
in my eye.
What if you have a knife and you attach
it to a wall? Is it considered
or not
the turning of the dub by the global
specials in the international financial
services
You know what? I It hit my head now so
I'm going to say it's sometimes it's not
a good thing. I don't have a good a
filter. Naturally, I I like my
filtration system is not the best.
But, this one is not bad.
Myer Fischel told me that he gave up his
massage. Now,
the massages are very harsh. Seriously.
It's top end. It's It's It's not some
massage. It's banging through massage.
My wife told me it's the best massage
she ever got. I hate to make you feel
bad. He gave it up so he can come to
sheer.
And then the guy he gave it to he gave
it to somebody cuz he didn't want it to
go to waste. He gave it to a guy.
The guy came over to me before sheer. He
said, "What do you What do you What do
you think? Massage or your sheer?" I
said, "Massage. 100% massage." He
started hugging me. He thought I was
going to tell him no sheer. No, massage.
For him he needs to go massage. If you
even have a suffolk, you have to
massage. Why? Because at the end of the
day
it's a one once in a lifetime
opportunity. You have a thing, you'll
make up the sheer later hopefully. And
you don't want to hurt yourself because
then you're going to regret it the whole
shot. No.
Torah has to be in a good smack. We
learn Torah and then that's another
thing about this trip. That it's a big
point of the trip that we're able to
enjoy life and do good smack of things
and then go ATVing and camel riding and
then and some of us even jumped out of
planes.
No scuba diving.
That's because of whatever reason. But
it goes we could combine the two. We
could learn Torah and be early diving
the minion and
and and and learn Torah and also have a
good time. It's not a stira. And have
massages and all that stuff. Okay.
>> [snorts]
>> Don't worry. I'll make it like it's
going to pay him up his massages a
different way. Okay.
So what's the question? Question is if
you take a knife you take something and
you plant it into a wall what's the guy
who shita? Is it considered and it's no
good or is it totally it's considered
totally and it is good? It's a good
touch my
he actually did some cool things. I
don't know which one is what.
I'm supposed to know this by myself but
they're all they all look the same here.
Are they?
Yeah, but that's
I don't know. Oh, here. Let's call this
one, okay?
There's a there's a stone coming out of
a wall. That that's good that's a good
one, right? Because everybody can tell
that this wall now I saw a wall similar
to this here I guess in in the the yards
of the rooms has this kind of stuff. But
everybody can tell this is man-made,
right? This is not this is not
I have the two bedrooms. You all have
the same room. Just I have two bedrooms.
Why? Because of that maybe maybe if the
Okay, I'm not going to go there. They
saw how much time I spent with my wife
preparing to share. They figured okay,
maybe we're not going to ask questions.
We'll give him two rooms.
Okay.
Or maybe I'll sneak a kid out of my
suitcase. I don't know what they were
thinking.
It's the same room. It's the same room.
It's the same room. Same room. Okay, the
living room was a little large. That's
it.
>> [laughter]
>> No. [laughter]
Oh, the kid is coming out here.
Everybody say it live.
Okay, listen. Listen. Listen. Listen.
I'm just like when you guys get the
massage next time in the morning and you
go for steering on the on the beach over
here and there's not Just remember at
least the fancy sitting in his room
preparing to share. Okay?
How many rooms? I need more rooms than
you. I need more rooms. I need to
prepare a little I'm going to have one
room. I'm bathing in the other room. I
need
You You guys enjoy your spas, okay?
>> [laughter]
>> I don't even know what it looks like. I
didn't even go in. I didn't even It's
okay.
Never.
Listen, if I was in a I'll just tell you
that don't feel bad for me cuz even
though I was there for 3 days and I
wasn't giving a share, I wouldn't go
into that spa. It's not like you matter.
Not not for these reasons. I don't do
spa. That's not my thing.
If there was a basketball court, I'd be
on the basketball court. I'd I'd go jet
skiing. I'd go scuba diving, skydiving,
all this all those stuff. Not sitting
around
Roman style, not my thing.
Nobody understands what I'm talking
about. Anybody here don't do massage?
Anybody?
What?
You all do it. What are you hacking
Chinese?
Oh.
Listen. What What happened in that
restaurant on the fourth floor stays
there.
Someone has to remind me one of the best
lines ever. It's like two serial killers
walking on the street. It's like, "WHY
ARE YOU ALIVE? WHY ARE YOU HERE? I WANT
TO KILL YOU MUST YOU'RE RUINING IT FOR
ME."
OH, that was so good.
Yeah, okay, fine.
Possible. This case of Boise again, I
got to show to you again cuz we we lost
track over here. And by the way, there's
another sheer coming up, but if anybody
wants to not go to the spa after this,
and wants to stick around for another
sheer,
I'll let you stay.
So, it says in the Gemara,
Oh, so we have a problem here.
Even though this wall is not considered
You just told me it's man-made. So, why
is it a problem?
Why is the sh'chita possible?
So, you see from here that what? That
even though you attached the stone to
You You're the one that attached it. So,
it was it was not It was then
it's possible. So, here's a great riot
that if you take a knife and put it in
the wall, it's possible. No. How am I
supposed to know
It's talking about something like this.
And may I know this is from Bereshit.
It's not man-made, and therefore that's
why it's possible. I cannot mean I'll
prove it to you.
Because they're both in the same
sentence, this is
and it says
the Gemara so may they both
A kind of a read, obviously it came from
Hashem and stuck in the ground. So, it's
a kind of a read. Sh'ma minah.
Yeah, yeah. This piece doesn't look so
good in this picture, but yes, it's a
piece. This looks like somebody put it
there, but
Uh no, the point is it's a cave, and
that's how it was. Sh'ma Tishma. Not
Here's another one that says that if you
take a knife and put it in the wall, the
sh'chita is possible. I think he might
have even made a picture for it. I don't
know why. Yeah. Yeah.
Like this. You take a knife, you you
shochet the goat like that. It's good
for the next Sugya. The Shulchan Aruch
Shchita doesn't change it. So, what do
you see? That even though you it was
Talush and then you made it Mechubar,
it's kosher. Says the Rosh Shani Sakan
Lo Mevatel Lo.
Shani Sakan De Lo Mevatel Lo.
A knife is different. Why?
Because
What?
Right. You're not Mevatel the knife to
the wall. You're going to one day come
and take it out. Tashma.
B'Mechubar L'Karka Shchita doesn't
change it.
Now, this, as you remember from
yesterday, we had a contradiction, so we
said when it's the fact that it says
Mechubar L'Karka, it's good good
Shchita, it it's referring to that it
was Talush and then Mechubar. So, here
here's a great case of Talush and then
Mechubar that the Shchita is kosher.
Says the Gemara, "Do we approach it in a
different way? Maybe the Shulchan over
there is just explaining my Mechubar
L'Karka Sakan De Lo Mevatel Lo."
Maybe we can't bring a Raya because
it's just the upshot of what's going on
over there. What what what does Mechubar
L'Karka mean? It means a knife, and that
we already established a knife is not
something that you Mevatel to the wall
because you're going to pull it out.
Okay.
Now,
it's time for you to think about it for
a second.
If I were to ask you, what's what's a
worse Shchita?
If the knife is over here, here's the
knife.
Putting the animal
on top of the knife and cutting like
this, or putting the animal below the
knife and cutting like this. This is the
knife.
The question is, and this is the animal.
What's worse of a Shchita? Putting the
animal's neck like this, or putting the
animal's neck like this? No? Anybody
want to take a guess? The top is worse.
Why?
Because there's a better chance of
Grisa.
Correct. What do you say? Why is there a
better chance of Grisa? Because you're
pushing down. When you're pushing down,
you're going to you're going to Same
Grisa if you're pushing up. No, you're
not pushing up. So, also, you
you can't move it.
Yeah, because right right. I hear what
you all are saying asking but the the
answer is that if you were to let go
would be Deresa right there. Cuz the
animals head how much does the animals
head weigh?
I don't even know if we can lift it.
It's probably a couple hundred pounds
that that head.
So you you you're holding it back from
coming down. So as it's coming down on
the knife that itself is Deresa. The
gravity is creating Deresa.
I get it but that's if you are in
control of a knife.
When the neck of the animals on the
bottom and you're in control of the
knife so you're doing the knife you're
not doing Deresa. Over here the neck is
pushing down.
Yeah okay right.
But that you could see.
Deresa is a problem you don't even see.
You don't even notice that you're
letting the pressure of gravity go onto
the knife and you're not controlling it.
I'm a marid not sacking my koso if you
put a knife in the in the wall.
But Shaka it doesn't share it's a good
Shaka.
If you did this this is the only way
it's kosher.
That's crazy.
So what is he doing he's moving the he's
moving the neck back and forth to do how
do you do Shaka?
He must move the neck back and forth.
But he does this.
I shouldn't have made this always a
concern maybe he'll put push down on the
knife and do Deresa.
We learned there's no difference that we
learned yesterday.
Let's start with the Katana.
It's two different that what
if the knife is on the bottom and the
animal's neck is on top
and the knife is in his hand
Great. So
but if the the knife is on top and the
animal's neck is on the bottom, so even
if it's
even
it's No, no, no.
This these are all kosher, but the only
way it's kosher when the knife is below
the neck. In other words, it's coming
down
is only if it's in his hand. That's how
they today, I think. How do they today?
Yeah. I'm pretty sure.
And pull the thing back. Also, it's it's
coming down.
Coming down and the knife is coming
down. But the knife is coming down and
that's not
cuz he's controlling it. But over here
you have when you have the cow's head
pushing down
The knife is not moving.
I don't know. Here, let's see this.
What did he do here?
And nothing.
No, no, no.
He's holding up the cow's head and he's
coming from below.
Okay. So that's only time that it's okay
when the when when he's holding the
knife in his hand. But if the knife is
stationary, in other words, in a in a in
a in a wall, then it would be a problem.
But if it's the reverse, if the knife is
on top
then it doesn't matter if the knife is
in the wall, then it's also okay.
Also okay.
What?
Good.
We have
We have another one. Here we go.
Over here we don't have a a problem with
why? Here you all see there's no problem
with
because a bird
it's so light that you're not going to
use the power of the the what do you
call don't tell him no he's telling him
to be quiet He's closing the door. Oh.
Let them move it. Rab Bar Bar Bar Bar
the cow doesn't bother me.
Omar Hizda Omar Yitzchak
Enemies fire small bees fire and you're
in control and there's no way you're in
control. You're you're the the the
working and what are you going to do?
Omar Hizda Omar Yitzchak I don't know
what this is done Khamisha Bar Omar Bar
Kureisha Kona.
Oh, things are going to get weird in a
second.
I didn't get weird yet.
>> [laughter]
>> There are five things that if you have a
broken
piece of reed so the the best picture I
could come up with actually we have a
better one but this again not to mention
that I don't know how many times I
mentioned sugarcane
and ginger and lemon but if you I took
from this picture now if you look all
the way on the right side so there's a
broken piece of sugarcane. That's very
very bad for a few things. What? For
five things.
Ain't no way you can't do sugar with it.
Why? Cuz it has a bunch of splinters.
It's going to tear the animal. May do
not do milk with it. Oh they it's a lot
of splinters here.
He he did a one Yosha did something like
this.
Okay? Splintery. You don't never know.
If it cuts from a bosser do not use it
as a knife and cut your steak. Then
and do not
use it as a toothpick.
They make do use it as toilet paper.
Ain't no ball but Tanya because
maybe it's all because of this it's a
way you can use a reed.
Omar Bar Bar Bar Bar the Agma cuz we're
talking about reeds that don't have
splinters a special type of reed but a
reed that has splinters you're not
allowed to use for
maybe it's a bosser you do not use it
for cutting meat. Omar Bar Bar Bar Bar
Dogim he said you can use it for the the
innards of fish the ziggy. Now I want to
show you Rashi, I I saw today.
Look at Rashi. Ziggy, what does Rashi
say? Anybody can read?
Clear.
And that's ziggy. Ziggy means clear.
Ziggy,
why? It's transparent. So, if it's
transparent, you can see right through
it. You can see if it has a splinter or
not.
And the Rabbi would would cut chicken
schnitzel. Why?
Cuz it's soft, so it's not going to
splinter into the into the chicken.
And you do not use it as toilet paper.
If you use toilet paper that that that
could catch fire, sheen of noishers, you
could have what is it called?
Hemorrhoids, whatever.
So, in other words, it's it's it's more
of a cabalistic thing,
I believe.
Why? How do I know that? Because
it'll be a big problem. So, if you're
Sefardi, Rebbi Weiss, if you're Sefardi,
do not listen to this.
Sefardi not allowed to use toilet paper
today.
Why?
Because
because it's it splinters and it's a
problem. According to the Shulchan
Aruch, Shulchan Aruch paskins, anything
that catches fire, you can't use as
toilet paper. So, I'm sorry. Rebbi Ari,
no more.
But,
and this is where I get into trouble. I
haven't mentioned this in a long time.
And it's usually not the place of a
maggid shiur to talk about these kind of
things, but I feel I feel I need to do a
public service announcement for the
oilam.
There's something called
a bidet. I'm not kidding.
>> [laughter]
>> I'm not kidding. I'll tell you why. It's
not a halacha. I'm saying a halacha
here.
The halacha, if
a person doesn't use toilet paper
correctly, he has a big problem
davening.
Learning. There's a little piece. Now,
there's something cheaper. People should
know this. It's cheaper than toilet
paper. It's a one-time purchase. Costs
$25. It's a little hose. It has a
sprayer. It is mordik. I shouldn't be
saying this, but I have to say it for
the I'm taking one for the team. Taking
one for the team. Everybody should have
one in their house and you save a lot of
money. What?
Every bathroom.
It's the best thing ever. It's the best
invention ever.
And
you have to cool off. I'm serious. You
have to feel
better and you save money. I don't know
why it's not in every single house.
Anyways, and by the way and by the way,
if anybody wants
>> [laughter]
>> if anybody wants they can come to my
room There's portable ones. There's
portable ones whenever you go. 100% you
got to use portables. Yeah.
What?
No, you install the ones that have the
heaters and the design and the fans.
$25. What?
Ah, maybe it's a divider.
Yeah, yeah, I know. And I just saw
25,000. Wow. Okay.
Yeah.
I can buy them so that's yeah. I'm going
to pop up. No.
What
I was telling you is if you if if you
have let's say a
a scar from a monkey
do not go like this with a with a reed
that has splinters because it can go
into your into your
into your wound.
It says in the Mishna how could you say
but how could you say that?
So you want to say how could you say
that?
How could you say
that for the wife? You do say that even
for a bird.
What are you saying but what do you mean
by that? What is the goal of this?
What what what happened?
No, I see I see it in the I see it in
the camera. I see it in the camera.
Okay. It's fine. No worries, but time
out. What you think of that? Yeah.
She's leaving. No, she's insulted.
No, but did she have a burger thing? No.
Oh, it's one of those.
Okay, so take it out.
So there's a straw cuz said they're
allowed to eat meat. Stop, have a steak.
Why? She
There's a lot of people here that they
love meat more than they love milk
shakes. I don't understand it. Pizza's
number one, obviously. But some people
like steak more. So imagine if you
couldn't eat any steak, garnished.
No spa. No spa.
Sorry, I know. I was hacking. I was
hacking. Some people there for 3 4 days
before Shabbos they're smoking ready up
the meat. And here we have the Rebbe of
Hill coming out. He's the God of Darn
and he's also coming asking and here is
Rebbe sitting right next to me. Rebbe
Mendelson, he taught him everything he
knows about smoking and everything.
Well, I taught him. And then we have
Yitzy, what's his name in Lakewood? Oh,
that guy, yeah. Who's coming in for a
siyum and it's first siyum or something?
cater the next MVI trip.
All right. Goldstein, Yitzy, okay, yeah.
Gevaldig.
When was done?
So so believe that
it's unbelievable. In the beginning it
was awesome for them to eat meat. But
once they came in there it's all good
and then she will say okay, go ahead and
eat meat. The
once they go to gallus they have
a have a have a meaner that you that you
don't need any meat anymore. Why?
Because you went to gallus.
Kashino, that's one of the reasons.
I'm asking you Rebbe Yosel, I don't know
why I can't eat meat. The point is that
they're allowed to eat it. So that
should be the point, not that you could
shat. The point is that you're allowed
to eat meat. Why? Let me call my time
What's the whole Let's let's think about
it logically. Why was meat also? We
shouldn't have to make a mishkan. Once
when they're very close to the mishkan,
so just bring a carbon and every time
you want to eat meat you can bring a
carbon and you can eat the steak. Well,
we're saying my time is too. So why did
meat become mutar? The Rebbe like right
now we're in gallus we're
>> Have a
Well, well, it's also here.
>> [laughter]
>> Hello everyone from TV. This
Okay, I guess we have to We really have
to
The boys side, the spa is open until
what time?
