CONTINUING PETER SANTENELLO'S WORK... (Important Announcement)

hello my friends i hope you're all doing well and today i'm going to talk to you about something that i've been working on for the past few weeks and something that is very very dear to my heart so as many of you know i recently did a 14 part series with peter santaniello which really really really made a big impact on a lot of people the series got well over 10 million views and thousands upon thousands of people have reached out to both peter and i to tell us how awesome they thought the series was we've all seen our fair share of negative portrayal of the orthodox and hasidic communities in the united states much of it contributes to confusion fake news misinformation and anti-semitism it's very important to understand that when the media comes into a community and spends a few hours there and they try to portray the community properly it often can't be done there are intricate details that need to be understood and spending a few hours with us just won't cut it this is one of the reasons why the media coverage and news reports that often come out of the orthodox jewish and qasida communities are often so wrong because they simply did not take enough time to get to know the community properly if you ever watched one of national geographic's nature documentaries you'll often find someone with an australian accent hiding away in a safe place while they try to watch and film a zebra get mauled by a tiger in a way it's a very distant perspective coming into the jungle for just a few minutes to try to get that great shot and leave without understanding the full picture this is exactly what happens to the orthodox jewish and hasidic communities very often when people try to understand what's happening on the inside but they don't take the time and the patience and the diligence to understand the full picture of everything that's happening our communities are often treated as if they're black and white without humanity without color without personality and this is a big mistake because the communities are so full of life so colorful so different but the media often fails to see that one of the things that peter santaniello's series accomplished was that he didn't only show the black and white he actually showed the humanity he showed a side of us that no one else usually shows and this is why so many people feel like they can relate to it i get messages every single day from people telling me that they change their mind about orthodox and jazidek jews because of peter's series this is very important work and it needs to continue while peter santaniello may be done with the orthodox jewish and khasir communities i for one am not i am still receiving messages on a daily basis from people begging me to continue this series and to continue the work that peter started which is why i am proud to announce that i have been working on a project to continue peter santaniello's work i've been filming new videos all over the tri-state area and now i'm traveling across the united states to get new videos and a new perspective on the orthodox jewish and hasidic communities the project is called black white and human and as i'm sure you can understand from the name my goal is to portray life in the orthodox jewish and khasidah communities as not only black and white but also with color something that the media so often fails to see this project is very difficult very time consuming and very expensive but i will stop at nothing to make sure that the voice of the khasid community is owned by the hasidic community we are going to be making short films about the people by the people so that other people can understand who we are and what we do with god's help i hope to launch this project in the next few weeks and i need your help to do it yes you can help me to get this off the ground here's how you can help number one please subscribe to the black white and human youtube channel there will be a link to the channel in the description of this video as well as another link at the end of this video where you can subscribe to black white and humans youtube channel please share this video with your friends and family so that we can get the message out to the masses that we are starting this channel and we hope the world is watching we'd like to reach our goal of 2 600 subscribers and when that happens we are going to release our first video go ahead subscribe i'm waiting still waiting thank you see you in the next one
