Community activist speaks out against chinuch decree

[Music] our children are one voice this is a campaign being spearheaded and led by all of the local schools of crown heights this is in partnership with every single jewel school across new york state this is in response to the new york state board of education proposed rules that if they were to be into effect will have a drastic effect on our system as we know it some of the proposed rules are every single teacher in our school system will need to be certified by the new york state board of education number two anyone whether disgruntled employee or former student can file a complaint to the new york city board of education which can ultimately lead to an investigation and a shutdown of that school number three local school words will be the one to determine the equivalency standards of the local chinook of the school and any parent who violates or sends their kids to a school that does not have the equivalency standard approved by the new york state will be forced to send their kids to other schools so therefore we are calling upon all parents and every single person in our community or anybody you know to please go to protect.com and tell the new york state board of education to not propose these rules these type of efforts have been done before but together we were able to stop them in the past and it's important that now we've joined together to tell them once again to stay out of our education system
