all right eph dman yes hi thank you
you're representing the dman today yes
kabad we're very happy to be here it's
great to have you here you know I was
with a family and I told them they're
like wow we can't believe that we're
here in Israel right now in this time
everybody told us is dangerous I told
them you're in the best time and the
best place and the best moment this is
where all the heroes are at yes yes a
special time special time to be in
Israel you have to understand that now
you can't get into any hotel all the
hotels in the North and the M are closed
so only the hotels in Jerusalem are full
so the fact that everyone's here
together in the hotel in Jerusalem it's
uh it's a beautiful thing for the family
it's the only place you can vacation now
and the families are having a beautiful
time the singer you know I saw before he
couldn't walk into the Hall he was so
emotional he didn't understand how he
could sing in front of such a crowd and
he's here everyone is sitting around
they're in tears they're crying They're
laughing they're sming and they're
grateful for what kabad is doing for
them it's they they they see that
there's a people here that care for them
they see that kabad is here to give them
whatever they need to be able to
continue on and have a beautiful life so
today the kids received backpacks and a
full compliment uh of back to school
Basics uh and they also did a trip where
was the trip to oh to the to the uh Zoo
that's right the zoo the the the tanak
zoo the Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem so
they're having a day tell me about the
stories about the people that you've met
that that have touched you uh in the
past few days that you've been together
with
them so it's very uh different than the
other orphan programs that we
had and that is there's a lot of
strollers a lot of babies a lot of
little kids which are around usually the
kids are a little bit older and that's
because we're literally dealing with
young soldiers that were killed younger
than me that were killed Rec and there
that's the types of families it is
there's the lobes lined up with
strollers and little babies and
something really these babies are
orphans these babies don't have a father
yes these are babies um you see them you
know the mother sitting together in
dinner having together with the kids and
something that really special is you'll
see that there's one staff member with
every family and at first you know
someone thought like oh that's so nice
we hired a babysitter for every family
so the mothers be able to go out and
have a good time here
the the truth is the team of 30 staff
are old girls that are graduates
of these are girls were orphans they
were part of our program and they're
here not for payment they're taking days
off their vacation to be able to help
their families so you see a full circle
of uh and and that's really what we're
trying to create over here it's not
about the financial help it's about
creating a movement creating a family of
that everyone feels loved for and one
feels that they could rely or have
someone to reach out to dman this is the
first time that I've seen yonathan
Roselle part of this story and wow he's
really touching these people they know
his songs but the songs also have the
meaning of like overcoming hardships
yeah yonathan razelle you know we wanted
to do something extra special and when
he heard what type of crew it is he said
you know this is something that I want
to do like um you know he was supposed
to and play himself and then yesterday
he called and he said I'm coming with my
whole band you can see over here he has
six seven people he said I can't you
know I just need to do it the best and
uh he he was in tears before he walked
in he he couldn't like he couldn't
imagine doing such a show beautiful okay
how's your father doing your brother you
guys are a big Team part of K kabad so
we're very grateful because it would be
impossible for this to happen without
our donors we have our partners we have
our donors those which are Trust kabad
to be their Ambassador
and they're taking from their money and
they're saying we want to do something
good we want to make an impact and they
trust kabad they send their donation if
it's online if it's by mail they trust
in kabad and we take that serious and
that's why we're here as their
ambassadors and making sure that the
people here have a good time the money
is wisely used and uh we're really
grateful because it's a partnership it's
not about it's not about about uh us
it's not about kabad it's about our
donors and it's about the families here
the widows and orphans you two were just
here to make the bridge and make the sh
between you two I think we would be
remiss if we just didn't mention one
more personality and that's thebi who
gave us a a kind of commandment to be
part of the army to be part of cus
Hashem to be part of the armies of
Hashem and to and to strengthen his
people to bring yish to the nation and
that's what this inspiration this is the
oldest kabad organization
and it's the spirit of is with us here
today well the Reb chose my father and
he and uh and you know my father was
hung around the rebba and he was by the
Reb for bringings and he knew what the
rebba wants and that's what he strives
for every day to to fulfill the Reb's
Mission and that's why he's doing this
and that's why we're able to accomplish
it because the Reb's bras nothing it
doesn't make sense to be able to pull
off something like this in the middle of
the summer in middle of the war to fill
it up and um it's all the Reb braas the
fact that this is able to
happen and thank you very much and these
bras we need him we need him here in
Isel these widows and orphans need him
and uh we need that army of of
of thank you so much thank you thank you
God bless
you that's right all right everybody
we're here at the yonatan razel concert
in beautiful night um let's listen to
what Jonathan Rosel saying singer
musician he's talking about King
[Music]
David okay Jonathan razelle is talking
about King David the King David used to
praise hem all the
time he used to uh hasem chose the songs
of King David
he King David was gentle
gentle and a warrior and and strong like
a tree so he was both a gentle and also
a warrior
