We're back here on our Tuesday night war of series where uh we have the uh the privilege the to learn the words of as if he's saying it to us today. Uh and tonight I think uh more than ever we'll see literally the words of the living God, the words of the Torah coming to life through this extraordinary writing that was written literally nearly a century ago and you'll see it how relevant and how applicable it is for us today. How can you go do this mitzvah and learn for a few hours and without talking if if if your wife needs you? What? You're not going to answer? Is that schlomite? Is that what Hashem wants? Let's take bad to worse. That's what the Satan does. It's always on that bad day. Now, of course, anyone that's married knows how the Satan works perfectly well. may perhaps they haven't connected the dots but now you will you ever have those days where you're having a decent day but your spouse not so much they woke up not in a good mood but you don't want to get into any arguments. You realize you've been with them for long enough that you figure, okay, you know what? Let me just stay out of their way, try to make them happy, whatever works. But just so happen to pick a fight. They want to pick a fight. They start asking you all types of things of something that happened 10 years ago, something that happened 20 years ago. You forgot it even existed. But all of a sudden they want to bring up the relationships of the past and the work you did and where you used to live and all types of things. You're like, "What? What makes you think of this right now at 8:00 in the morning?" Or the worst the worst worst of all is when you just simply have a discussion about the kids, about work, about life, about Hashem, and your spouse decides to press that button that no one is allowed to press because they know exactly where it is. They know the one thing that no one is allowed to talk about, no one is allowed to touch and they knew it too. But today, the day that you're sensitive, the day that you don't really feel like talking about anything, needless to say about that one thing, all of a sudden they want to have a conversation. They want to have a conversation. You know why? Because the Satan works overtime in order to make sure that you lose your cool, that you lose your mind, that you forget that runs the world. And he gave us a rule book that we have to comply with under all conditions, including the stress tests. is telling us this Satan it's easy to forget about him because usually if you're normal you don't see him in real life you see his messengers you see his acts so it's easy to forget that he's behind the scenes all along. But what's harder to forget is the messengers, especially the messengers that are not so close to you and you love them and just have a bad day. Rather, it's the messengers of the Satan that that's their vocation. That's their job. They are messengers of the Satan. And today, more than ever, this stuff is being exposed where people that made a name for themselves in a jewelry business were caught selling fake diamonds to their customers, selling $200,000 worth of jewelry, but in reality was only worth maybe $50, $100. Same goes in a lot of other industries. People sell fake goods, but usually don't make a name for themselves that way. Usually they do a lot of good business and once in a while people cheat. But there are some types of cheaters that they scam for a living. They cheat for a living. They're predators for a living. Whether it be the merchant cash advance business or those that are like it that sell fake goods, that sell fake uh products. says the Satan has these merchants. He has many of these merchants that they know exactly what good you're looking for. You're looking for that perfect diamond. We're going to sell you something that looks exactly like that perfect diamond, but you're going to find out it's fake. you're going to find out that it's not only fake, it's explosive. And he says, just like there are those merchants that sell these fake goods, the also has other merchants that call themselves. They call themselves rabbis. that that that are dressed with the garments of, you know, the holy, the the rabbis. They have the uniform. They have the frock. They have the hat. They look like they're part of the Raban. They're part of the uh great assembly there. But in reality, says, "These rabbis, they're not really rabbis. They're they're merchants of the Satan. But how do they succeed? How do they get this way?" These rabbis says they write and they sign in holiness. meaning like they write the gon the kados rabbi such and such is coming to your city you could buy a kameha for a few thousand you could uh do this you could do that and they come to you as if they are an important rabbi really These rabbis says they come dressed like real rabbis. They act like real rabbis. They work like real rabbis. But really all their role is is to give more strength to the fight against the Torah. by doing everything they can to manipulate the Torah, to take different verses, different statements from the Torah and manipulate them. Whether it's the God needs you nonsense that's constantly out there or that now it's been even upgraded I should say downgraded to even worse levels where they say God has a body there's no reward and punishment or the followers of the same heresy that now say listen you know ganam is just punishment of god is just that um it's only spiritual ual. It's not physical. As if that says that the pain on the soul is at least 60 times worse than the body. As if that doesn't exist. Like they make it seem like, oh, it's only a spiritual punishment. As if it doesn't hurt. Like as if it's like the movies where it's just a wind. It's some little wind. It's like that's it. Oh, it's gone. It's gone. It's like it was a bad, you know, really hot day, but no, now it's done. We'll jump in the pool now. Or they tell you, listen, you know, nobody goes to gets punished in g more than 12 months. That's why we say kadesh for 11 months. As if the in countless places doesn't say that there are some people that not only don't get punished for a year, they get punished forever. I just heard from one of my students that they have a family member that converted to Judaism under the understanding that Orthodox Judaism apparently according to their heretical teachers that Orthodox Judaism simply cancelled out part of the mitzvot and therefore it's now allowed to be part of the rainbow people, there's no problem. It's as if you say you're allowed to be a uh religious Jew without believing in God. There's literally nothing stupider than that. But there are people that teach this. They didn't just find this from themselves. They didn't invent this themselves. Why do you think there are so many so-called religious Jews that donate the stolen money, the the money that literally is blood, sweat, and tears that they robbed people from in the cash advance business and other corrupt businesses, and they donate the money to different uh uh so-called rabbis organizations. Why do you think that? Why do you think that happens? Because those very same rabbis said, "It's okay to do whatever you want. Just don't cheat me. I've even had people come to me from the cash advanced business telling, "Listen, Rabbi, everything you said is right. I just something that threw me off that confused me was that why did the rabbi that I asked the question also give me money so I could lend his money out at 50 and 100%." Meaning he had some money saved up from whatever he got it from. And he said, "Listen, your business, yeah, it's good. Can you also lend I'll give you $100,000 and you lend it and you make 100% on it and give me 50%." He said, "Rabbi, that confused me. If the rabbi tells me, listen, not only is it okay to be in cash advance, you could also lend my money out, too. And says these messengers pretend to be rabbis. It's sort of like when Manis Freiedman or Baut and the rest of the out there, they have all types of podcasts with all types of atheist and immoral immoral and immodest people and act as if there's no big deal. act as if the Torah welcomes everyone as they are no matter what. As if there's no rules. And the briskav saw that this so-called rabbi publicized bad things, foolish things in this newspaper. And he heard that a different big rabbi who also heard about this metipes said give him the benefit of the doubt. Why? Because he's stupid anyway. He said listen this guy this so-called rabbi that publicized in a heretical newspaper he's an idiot anyway. who pays attention to him? He's not. And the briskarab said, "No, you can't look at it that way. Even if he is stupid," he says, "Even if he is stupid, even if he doesn't know Torah, even if he doesn't know, he's not a still you cannot ignore it." Why? Meaning that when you see that a somebody that calls themselves a rabbi or a religious blogger or YouTuber or whatever it is and you see this person exposing their foolishness by speaking against the Torah such as by speaking against insulting the Torah giants of this generation or past generation. by admiring the secular and the uh uh foreign religions, by disregarding the laws of the Torah, by insulting the When you see that somebody that calls themselves a rabbi or religious leader or even somebody that has an opinion that he publicizes and you see that person exposing their foolishness by speaking against the Torah, the one thing that you can conclude from that is that the Torah is not their business. Even if they make business from the Torah, again, if they're going against the Torah, if they're violating the Torah with their words, with their actions, with their writings, then the one thing you can know for sure says the brisk says says all of one thing you can conclude, someone that goes against the Torah, distorts the Torah, manipulates the Torah, changes the Torah, wants to renew the Torah as if it's too old and no no longer relevant. The one thing you could conclude is that the Torah is not their business. It's not theirs. Even if they make business out of the Torah, meaning even if they make money out of their podcasts and out of their nonsensical books and out of their lectures and out of their interviews and all the products they have, even if they say they are representing the Torah and they make money from the Torah and they teach Torah, if they're manipulating the Torah, then the Torah is not is not really theirs. What it is says in reality this is a foreign business. Foreign business for them. And therefore, one that shows his foolishness and actually publicizes it, you have to speak against it. Because what he's doing What he ends up saying in his videos, what he ends up writing in his blogs or his books is whatever comes to his mind, even if it has nothing to do with the Torah, even if it's the opposite of the Torah, even If it contradicts the Torah. Yeah. But aren't you a rabbi? Yeah. But if you're a rabbi, aren't you supposed to be representing the Torah and saying what Torah says? No. This is what Tawa says. You don't understand. No, I know how to read. I mean, it says here in this verse the opposite of what you're saying. No, no, you don't understand. It's it's it's too deep. It's too deep. One thing you conclude, the Torah is not their business. Manipulation is. So they make money from the Torah, but the Torah is not their business. Meaning it's not theirs. They don't live it. Now this is something that a person could really understand when they think about their own business or career. When you have a career, when you have a business, doesn't matter how big or small it is, even if you're only in it for two, three years, that business becomes your baby. You put everything in it. You wake up in the morning thinking about what you're going to do in your business. You go to sleep at night thinking about what you're going to do in your business tomorrow. Throughout all the times, you're constantly thinking, "What could I do to improve this business? How could I fix it? How could I make it better? How could I do this? How could I do that? What could make my business look better? What could bring more customers to my business? And if somebody tells you, "Listen, I don't think you have a good business." Oh, you're right attacking. You take no prisoners. Why? You're defending your business because it's your business. You want to defend it. You want to show them. You want to prove to them that your business is good. It's the best. You're even better than the big companies. At least in your eyes. Why? Cuz it's your business. And to you, that's what makes it better. The same concept goes if somebody makes the Torah his meaning they live by it, they sleep by it, they dream it, they do it. Everything that has to do with them connects to the Torah. The way they wake up in the morning, the way they address people, the way they help people, the way they speak, the way they do business, who they choose to marry, how they raise their children, where they choose to live, every part of their life has to do with the Torah. And every free moment they have, they continue to learn more. So when they hear somebody speaking against the Torah, if the Torah really became part of them, they cannot tolerate such a thing. They have to defend the Torah. They have to defend the Torah under all costs. That's why David says, "If you love God, you'll hate wicked people. You'll hate the liars. You hate the people that manipulate the Torah because it's your business. It's your life. continues and says all of this is also happening in our days. Meaning these problems that the briskar had to deal with, that the Malbeim had to deal with, that D said had to deal with in previous centuries where there was these so-called rabbis that really were manipulators and heretics.
