Chesed of Flatbush - Short Version

Until flapper started, there was a huge void in the community. People contact us at care SBH and they need medical services like hospital beds, oxygen concentrators, wheelchairs. The only one-stop shop is we went out and bought anything that was needed by the community. We expanded from wheelchairs and hoyer lifts and hospital beds and crutches and commodeses to oxygen equipment to many many different items that are needed for different surgeries. They are just an amazing unique organization that really helps the community at large. We come home from a hospital, we're lost. We don't know what we need in the house. They can give you everything you need to take care of your loved one in your own home. That they're doing is the name the Flatbush. They're right here in our community. that have hundreds of volunteers delivering equipment at 2 in the morning or at 7:00 a.m. Whenever you need it, it's there >> throughout our community far and wide. Anyone that needs a piece of medical equipment, of course, wheelchairs, crutches, and every other device that you could imagine, they have. >> We're making tremendous changes in people's lives. Whereas in the past, if someone didn't have a piece of equipment, they just had to live without it. There's no better service in our community today than Flatbush. >> For the last two and a half years, we've been spending hundreds of thousands of dollars just to keep this organization going. I am anticipating over the next couple of years, our annual budget will be close to a million dollars. >> Support headed to Flatbush. I am going to give them my full support. I'm going to give them my financial support. I believe what they are doing is incredible. We need them. This is a flatbush organization and we are reaching out to let you know that we are here for you but we need you to be here for us as well. [Music]
