Ferris Tyra and I went to that school and then from there I went to the Yeshiva Staten Island where I learned under the tutelage Feinstein and I spent 10 years in the Yeshiva I was misham the Yeshiva and especially in the country when we went to Camp Yeshiva Staten Island and not in lower Manhattan no Ramos was Russia Shiva of two yeshivas he was rashiva Massif Jerusalem in uh in the east side and then he had a campus in Staten Island uh the Yeshiva of Staten Island the mtj was under the underneath RAV Maisha was his son RAV David and in Staten Island was his son Robert who is Hashem still the richeshiva of the Yeshiva in Staten Island and ramosia came out to the Yeshiva of Staten Island he gave a share when his son-in-lord of shisko passed away he gave an extra Shear in Staten Island in chaperone we have to become better we have to take notice of our days and what we can improve and to do better so Rabbi what would you say are some powerful defenses that we could use against the Satan the prosecutor when he comes to prosecute us for our sins and our world and the bad things that we've done you have any suggestions Rabbi why she leads up well you know on Rosh Hashanah and on your Kippur after saying the sanity of me yes who's going to live was gonna die me but keep saying who in that time we like the kids saying before their time we we yell out in a in a declaration or to show the O Sophia repentance that of course is an eraser to erase our sins srila is begging for our lives But after those two obvious steps of the 613 Mitzvahs what do we choose to seduct because of us so therefore one of the great defenses is that this time of the year people should give part to DACA yeah relatives that are struggling help them out you know I like to tell people you know a family with a lot of children their family with eight children on a tight budget they're going the next two weeks they're going to the shoe store they're buying new shoes new sneakers and many times new shop issues that's 24 pairs of shoes that just you know what it means if you could help a family with buying shoes and it's something that they use every day you know there are families now that they don't have admission cards in the schools because they couldn't afford to pay their registration to help a family so sadaka is one of the best defense then this is something that's very dear to count them then that woman is has a great protection now I know that some of your wise listeners will say Rabbi Weiss I know people who lost their husbands and they had a house full of kids they needed their husbands I know husbands have lost their wives they needed their lives okay so this doesn't help if it's the person's case if it's their time um passed away at 26. Robert passed him at 40. a buyer passed away at 60. but it helps for a person who was supposed to die from sin a lot of people die from sin they won't die if they're needed so it's a very big defense to be needed wow very very powerful every motionary ways uh so so many gems so much so much inspiration and unfortunately time is running out of we should go on forever forever and we have a custom at
