now with the iPhone everyone having the
whole internet in their pocket it's made
it three times as as hard as it was back
then I put together a handbook with like
20 different tools attitude perspectives
on the struggle how to view the struggle
properly and it's not all or nothing and
how to get up after fall and there
really is a serious resource now to send
people my goal was always to make a
One-Stop place where you can get all the
resources regarding the struggle from
prevention education protection
intervention from regular teenage
struggles all the way through full-blown
addiction whether you're modern whether
you're kidish you know and in all
languages as much as we can you know in
one place and I was getting emails from
people all over the world saying you
saved my marriage you saved my yish you
saved my
[Music]
life and welcome to Torah talk kazak
Tuesday night programs with special
guests we have with us all the way from
AR from Israel RAB yobel
Shalom welcome how you
doing good thanks for having
me to INSP
some with God's help and we're going to
be speaking about From Slavery to
Freedom but before we get to the topic
we get a little bit of background about
that the rabbi and the great work you're
involved
with so I was a programmer about 25
years ago ago at the turn of the century
for dafa Corporation maybe you've heard
of it sounds familiar I used to do all
their kids games the multimedia stuff
interesting so I was about 20 something
straight out of coo I needed the
internet for my
work and it was a challenge because
there was very little awareness back
then of the dangers of the internet
there were very few filters
available and you know suddenly The
Whole World's open to you and and I had
to find ways for myself to stay strong
it was it was a struggle and with a lot
of and helped me find certain methods
that were helping me to stay strong that
I you know shouldn't be n in the wrong
things also you know filters were coming
out then a little bit and I noticed a
lot of yiden were struggling with this
on different forums um different Jewish
forums they were saying it's a lost case
it's just possible there's nothing to to
talk about even okay and I shared with
them you know some of the things that
were helping
me and I noticed that it really inspired
them they said wow you gave me a push
I'm going to try
again and um when I saw that I said
maybe I should do a little website uh
with some tips and Asis and tools and
you know share what's working with me
and um I started to gather together some
filtering uh ases that were starting to
come out out then there was different
ideas different device for people to put
on filters on their inter yeah there was
like K9 back in the day if you remember
but it wasn't very good but then there
was nativ in Israel which was like a
very powerful whiteless filter and I was
looking in ways to bring it to America
back then we we were looking for ways to
find filters in the F
Community um so I put together a little
website and we had a page of tips and a
page of Asus a page of stories of people
who had succeeded to break free of this
um a page of filters
and people can send in questions you
know and I would try to give them
Asis advice you know advice whatever and
um one day a guy said why don't you
start a forum so people can post about
their struggles and uh I didn't really
know what a forum was but he offered
even to host it and that's when things
really started to take off cuz we had
hundreds of people from all around the
world who started somehow I don't know
how they found out about it but they
started posting about their struggles I
guess if they searched for something on
the Internet they found a lot of people
were searching sometimes for bad things
they found our website they ended up
coming into the website and and getting
helped so people were strug you know
talking about their struggles and it's
Anonymous so people weren't afraid to
open up and from yeden from all across
the Spectrum you know from Modern to the
most
yes even you wouldn't believe saying I
thought I'm crazy I thought I'm the only
one I didn't realize how many people are
struggling with this today and I'm so
grateful that I found this group group
and they started sharing with each
other you
know people used to give each other it
became a warm knit community of and I
spent like 12 hours a day on The Forum
giving and your job or this so I was
still working in multimedia but I was
losing my prasa more and more because I
couldn't do both and uh Hashem sent me
someone who started to give me a little
monthly stipend each month to keep guard
your eyes
going called guard your eyes from the
beginning from the beginning actually
it's funny the day I purchased the
website guardy your eyes.com
it was 10 days after they had just
launched the first iPhone wow wow iPhone
the first you know Apple announced the
iPhone so it's almost like Hashem Was
preparing a there's got to be a balance
okay the N now with the iPhone everyone
having the whole internet in their
pocket it's it's it's made it three
times as as hard as it was back then
so um so then people were posting and
giving each otheruk and after a while so
much good material was coming out from
the Forum from people who were really
working on this and really making
progress and sharing what worked for
them so I took all the Asis and I put
together a handbook with like 20
different tools and attitude
perspectives on the struggle how to view
the struggle properly understand what
Hashem wants from us through the
struggle how to grow how to use it as a
a stepping stool to really reach Great
Heights and it's not all or nothing and
how to get up after a fall and you know
all the aces that that people um need to
hear to
be and I was getting emails from people
all over the world saying you saved my
marriage you saved my yish you saved my
life you know and it was so moving to
see the impact it was having on people
we started a phone conference um
somebody offered to do like a 12ep you
know 12 steps for addiction so somebody
started a 12-step phone conference so
people could join
anonymously and we had a number of
cycles of that and uh one day on one of
the calls we had a therapist who told us
about a study that says it takes 90 days
to change an addictive pattern in the
brain 90 days 90 days so I set up a
little 90day chart where people had uh
with sign up and you know day three day
seven day 20 day 30 day 50 day 80 day 90
you know and then you reach each time
you get different levels different
rewards interesting yeah like uh digital
rewards you know coins or whatever and
people really love that cuz it gave them
something to work towards you know and
on the Forum they would post about I'm
up to day 40 you know and everybody's
giving him and I had a hard time and
people would be mikim and help them get
back up if they had a fall so we so so
we had this forum we had phone
conferences we had the 90-day chart I
made a partner program so people could
use like kusas uh for accountability wow
anonymously like they could be in touch
either by email or phone or whatever and
um and then you know obviously the
resources I started sending out daily
kuk emails each day a little something
usually from The Forum that people were
posting that was very inspiring you know
and the email list grew and grew and the
members grew and ultimately it was
reaching a point where I wanted to
really get this to the next level but I
didn't really know how and at that point
Hashem sent me my partner ycll he was
his name is jesal Stelzer he's a
professional
therapist very very talented guy he was
working with um when he before he's a
balua before he was balua he was
actually uh an adviser to bib nany very
brilliant guy you know with bunch of
degrees and um you know therapist
working with teens at risk in Israel
with the government and this topic of
you know bam struggling with this stuff
kept coming up and he didn't have
anything to offer them resources so he
was looking online you know what could
he find and he found my website and he
contacted me and asked me if we have any
resources in Hebrew you know he didn't
know I'm in I'm in Israel we ended up
meeting and when I showed him what we
have and the testimonials I'm getting in
all the time the people were helping he
was like wow I sense here that there's a
mission here for me you know and I want
to start helping you free free of charge
as a volunteer and we started to do some
trips we went to the Auda we went to
tasor we went to the U started to show
our our work to
people and we started to fundraise so we
can do this in a much more professional
way and then we found a guy in Israel
Mendy Elish shevitz a from Guy
who's a genius in web development and he
knows how to put together web teams and
he helped us design the website from
scratch and make it much much more
professional and so the three of us have
been working together already now for 15
15 years it's 15 years old I I started
it 17 years ago but my partner joined me
like is 18 years old kak interesting
so remember when you guys were just
starting out and I think you were in
touch with me
very um yeah so you know now we had a
team we definitely done events in the
past and good
stuff we're here to be that's what we're
here for it's amazing so it's 17 amazing
years the last 15 years with your
partners years with my partners and
today over 30 people work for the
organization in capacities wow 30 people
like what eight full-time and another 20
something to keep the website running
like what's the well there's there's
just so much there's the Spanish website
the Hebrew website the Yiddish website
there's there's the marketing the
finances the fundraising there's there's
the support you know there's just a lot
so you offer support to people that are
struggling having yeah so there's
moderators on the forums there's Hotes
still forums Forum yeah the forums are
still a big part of our uh not everybody
uses them because some people are afraid
to open up even on a forum but the
people who do take that jump are they
never regret it they say wow this is so
powerful the group support that you get
and I was very close with
RAB we've had this hosting the rabbi big
event oh wow very nice he used to and he
spoke about this topic also yeah
addictions so he was um slavery
extremely grateful when guardi eyes came
onto the scene because he was getting
like five calls a week about this
problem and he didn't know what to do
with them you
know and when guard your eyes came on
the scene and we contacted him he was
just very excited that there really is a
serious resource now to send people my
goal was always to make a One-Stop place
where you can get all the resources
regarding the struggle from prevention
education protection intervention from
regular Teenage struggles all the way
through full-blown addiction whether
you're modern whether you're kidish you
know and in all languages as much as we
can you know in one place people should
have a uh amazing what's the website
again guard your guardy your eyes.com
eyes.com aming Hebrew it's G y.
org.il for for and the yish site is
actually called hit.com what hit oan
means guard your
eyes yeah and it's growing fast as
amazing unbelievable I was just saying
that I was close to Ari and what he
loved the most about guard your eyes was
that he understood addiction and he knew
that for addiction you need group
support now the problem is in this area
people are too afraid to go for group
support in 12-step groups and expose
them M El it's it's a very taboo subject
you know this I was going to ask you
it's very taboo people might you know
how does one so that's why he loved
guard your eyes because it was the first
time there's a real platform of group
support that at the same time you can be
completely
Anonymous inter so you're able to sort
of open up and get support from others
but at the same time nobody knows who
you are so people are not afraid to open
up now if you have a very if you have a
very strong
addiction we do suggest live group
support you know hiding behind a fake
username is not enough for people who
have a real addiction they need to face
tace
support but um they won't do it that's
the problem so guard your eyes acts like
a bridge for these guys wow to get them
to the sa programs and today over a
third of from Jews in sa around the
world which is thousands of members have
come there through guard your eyes wow
sa is what sorry for it starts it stands
for sexaholics anonymous it's like AA
Alcoholics Anonymous um it's for people
who are struggling with lust related
addictions and there's a guy on guard
Your Eyes by the name of Dove who's
Anonymous he's over 25 years clean in sa
from a full-blown addiction W very wise
very special yid really a special yid um
and he has helped thousands of people on
guard your eyes over the years first on
our forums he would spend days and
nights answering people so he's able to
help people because in a sense he's been
there done that so he's able to
understand others that's what would
always say if a person has a difficulty
or hardship in life there's a reason for
it what's the reason is that because one
day others might have it you'll be able
to tell them I've been there done that
so yeah that's why Hashem puts people
through things not for not only for
themselves but for others as well wow
wow wow wow amazing and Dove um so he is
he's running today a vet's group what we
call it's like veterans a vet to vet
people to see if they're really addicts
we call it like the first aid group and
he has members from all over the world
and countries and cities everywhere that
there are from people um there're at
least five years or more you know clean
sober and they're experienced at
welcoming uh newcomers and basically
they vet the members of guarder eyes
they speak to them on the phone and they
help them figure out if they might be
addicts or not and if they need the 12ep
uh 12-step groups because most guys that
come to guard your eyes are not addicts
I would say 80% don't need you know
intervention or 12-step groups it's a
Yahara and and it becomes you know
there's there's the green orange and red
levels when a person signs up we ask
them a series of questions based on the
answers to those questions we're able to
categorize him as either a green which
is like typical teenage struggle sh
occasional Falls orange means you're
starting to get addicted to it because
it's a very addictive thing you've tried
to stop many times you're not successful
it's starting to affect your life but
you're still able to manage and red is
where it's really ruining your life
already and you're you know you can't
continue this way but at the same time
you can't stop those are the guys that
we send to the veter group to figure out
if they're ready for the 12-step program
wow this is I I've heard of guard your
eyes but I you didn't really know much
about it but hearing all this and seeing
the amount of work that goes into it wow
unbelievable and it's really it sounds
like one of a kind Organization for you
know in the sense that we have something
for everything and uh where does mental
health come to this uh
situation so you know we've found that
this is such a big draw and such a big
Nan today that even people from the best
homes with the best best upraising great
parents still get pulled into this and
through technology or technology because
it's so accessible and so easy you know
filters are important but there's we
don't live in a filtered environment
today it's there's the computer in the
office and and there's the your sister's
phone and your mother's phone and the
old phone in the closet that they're not
using anymore and then for in Walmart
you know you can get today for a few
dollars it's just so accessible that if
a person is not ready to work on
themselves no filter is going to help
you have to have an inner you know you
have to have some sh and you have to
have tools and guard your I provides
tools to dealing with urges our new
program which we spent uh about two
years researching um the most advanced
science on behavioral change because we
wanted to really be able to help I mean
the amount of people that were reaching
out to us was getting overwhelming we
didn't have the manpower to deal with it
and we realize we have to start to
rethink our our whole online platform
and create it in a way that can be more
automated so that we don't need the
Manpower as much and that people will
get the help they need and people come
to guard your eyes a few years ago they
would see thousands of Articles tons of
tools they wouldn't know where to really
go we wanted to create like a funnel
that takes a person from step one all
the way through you know full um
recovery and so the way we start is is
first by assessing their level and based
on that we offer them different tools
but we created something called the
flight to Freedom program we did
research flight flight to Freedom that's
what we're talking about From Slavery to
slav to Freedom yes okay it took us
about a year or two of serious research
we went
through hundred books and hundreds of
scientific papers on behavioral change
on the science of Behavioral change and
um put together a program to together
with top therapists and
researchers um which basically takes the
person from Step One how do you get
motivated first of all you know the pros
the cons make a strong decision be M
that this is what I want make a decision
that this is really what I want and once
you have that you know we teach them how
to how the brain works the
neuroplasticity rewiring the brain we
teach them how to deal with urges when
they come up we teach them how to deal
with setbacks
how to track their progress and how to
ultimately fill their lives with more
meaning so that they don't feel such a
draw to this because every person has
inside of them a god hole what they call
like a certain it needs to be filled
with something and if you don't fill it
with something meaningful you're going
to be dra I talk to people all the time
you know as as
uh started I was 15 I I I was so busy I
didn't have time for anything this that
running around making things happen I
tell to people that keep busy you you
won't have time is that an accurate uh
uh thing to tell over to people
definitely um for lower levels of the
struggle that is probably the best a
there
is bed so person is Bored not doing
anything then then he starts doing
nonsense no question um for B for
example that struggle with this the main
a is the main a is throw yourself into
learning have good friends have a good
social life have hobbies don't be bored
and feel empty inside you know build
yourself a gmak and learning and you
know God created he created theora as a
spice to calm it down and it will go
hopefully you know you'll outgrow it
over time you'll learn how to deal with
it more and more but once it becomes a
bit addictive like the orange level
especially the red level that's where
guard your eyes is a being busy is a
nice it's not going to be enough you're
going to need support you're going to
need tools but it starts somewhere miso
I would guess what it starts at a
certain level but the person jumps to
orange red or he just it starts
sometimes just from Curiosity kids are
exposed to things and they're drawn to
it naturally and it leads to a cycle of
addiction because there's dopamine
that's released when a person views
things they shouldn't and the reward
Pathways in the brain you know respond
and then there's this like cycle where
you feel empty afterwards and you feel
you need to fill it again and you just
go back to it and also the depression
and the shame very similar to
drugs uh it's definitely it's called
because I've heard this uh you know I
don't know the terminology and stuff
it's called the new drug the yeah the
new uh in our generation this is mish
related to drugs but it's more than that
there's also a lot of Shame um connected
with this issue a lot of uh you know
feeling that I'm I'm anyway gone I'm
it's too late for me you know and I'm
such a loser and I can't believe I did
it again and and uh and that just brings
the person back to doing it again so we
talk about you know a lot on guard your
eyes the difference between healthy
regret and toxic shame which you know is
bad and we put out a book recently with
Dr schy Zimmerman called from Boys to
Men shout out to Dr zimman Who is the
one that introduced us and uh made this
tor talks happen and we had him on T
talks as well so yes we we spoke about
the book so we were the inspiration
behind the book and we wrote it together
with Dr Zimmerman we did the research
together although ultimately he ended up
writing the actual
book big big rabbis were were behind it
yeah we got RAR and Feldman to to write
a forward to it I personally met him
with my team uh we went to Rabbi tski
this was during covid it was 6 weeks
before he passed away he wrote a HK for
us on this book it was the last HK he
ever wrote probation probation yeah on
this book which is really a game changer
in the F Community it's the first time
this is being addressed in a real with
real dasra and real psychology you know
in a mainstream way and has there been
any push back for the great work that uh
is going on over here or is this been
across the Spectrum it's been pretty
much across the spectrum because people
who are coming to guard your eyes are in
the mud and nobody's going to say don't
use the internet to take people out of
the mud cuz that's where they're falling
that's where the fire is you got to go
where the fire is um but you did say
there is phone lines yeah there are a
hot there is a hotline which you can the
whole flight to Freedom program
basically you can do online on the on
the
phone um you know there's a section for
how do I deal with urges there's a
section for how do I get more motivated
how do I track my progress how do I deal
with rewiring the brain the whole you
know you can press different numbers on
the phone and go through the program
amazing but uh it's mainly an online
platform so so so so you know in m in
Egypt
20% of the Jews a fifth were redeemed
you know so when when it comes to P
which we just had everybody think talks
about freedom freedom freedom now this
is the in essence what you're doing
you're breaking people out of slavery
which is today's topic right out of
slavery into freedom but the L of
Freedom the the expression of being free
what what would be the best way to to
explain it to one or to understand it so
rabie tki used to tell over um how he
was dealing with uh 40 Years of drug and
alcohol addiction and used to tell over
how one of the people who went through
alcohol addiction and Recovery through
his um
program was sitting at the
Seder and they were talking about
slavery and this guy said to his
father T you have no idea what slavery
means you have no idea what it means to
be a slave and then to be free like I am
today I experienced it on my you know so
real the there is nothing like slavery
there's no greater slavery than slavery
to the Yahara because it means you're a
slave to the body you're a slave to this
world you're stuck you know you can't be
a good father you can't be a good
husband you can't be Anem you can't have
a connection with the Toyo with anything
meaningful because you're it just takes
over your mind and and and thear tells
you do this and you just listen to him
he's like your master and there's it's
the worst type of slavery
now the whole process of leaving MIT and
going to cab which is the period we're
in Now is really a parallel and a mush
for us leaving theara and um learning
how to go into the Wilderness after on
faith and then getting the the Sweet
Waters of the Tyra that give us the
Fulfillment that we need in place of all
the stuff you know the
Yahara and um you know the period of
shim is also related to the six weeks
that we leave MIT so we find this theme
again and again throughout the year and
and there's a mitzvah to
remember twice a day inma in the morning
and the night is mentioned in the to
over 50 times why so much because that's
what we're here in this world for it's a
mush to how to leave behind thear and go
into the midbar and serve Hashem and get
the
T and um we recently did a project for
Bim based on sh I was going to ask you
yeah about the book over here this is a
a book we put out after
um six weeks seven weeks of the boys
being on a program and every every day I
would send out another another
perspective another Tool uh to the boys
either by WhatsApp email which boys what
are we talking about so what we did is
like this we had a mash in American
Yeshiva in Israel who did a sh project
with boys a few years ago and got them
to be on a 50-day program
of filter their phones you know and be
and at the end of the 50 days he took
them on a trip in Israel to the north
they did a whole day of fun track you
know um go-karts and a winery and good
food and everything and was very
successful now he's not working in the
Yeshiva anymore so he turned to us and
he said how do we do this on a bigger
scale I said wow that's a great idea I
like it because shim is a time of the
year that guard your eyes can really
capitalize on this is the time of year
that we can
about Holiness yeah 100% so I built a
little website sh him.org oh nice it was
available and we uh we made a sign up
form and Rabbi sadon his name isia sadon
know know of course he went down to 40
something yeshivas in Israel wow spoke
to the American boys uh the masim the
russas and got the isas to get on board
with this and sign up the boys in
America we did 30,000 worth of
advertising we were in the mishak Amy
status groups we put up posters to
advertise this initiative ultimately we
had about 1,300 people sign up to the uh
program over a thousand b a few hundred
yite and every day they had to be so
this book I put out after the program so
there's five there's four different uh
guidelines in order to be able to join
the program there's five but the fifth
is not is optional the first is I'll
make sure that all my devices are
filtered or I'll use a flip phone the
second is I'll make a conscious effort
to guard my eyes and I understand I
won't be perfect but I'm going to put in
effort each day for 50 days I'm going to
read every day and try to implement the
daily tip of this book each day you know
we sent it by email WhatsApp or text now
we have it in a book format and number
four it gets easier the more we hold
back and you know this is something we
all need to work on especially B
and optional for those who are
struggling more to sign up to guard your
eyes that's optional so we had over a
thousand Buck from sign up and uh you
say Buck teenagers teenagers from over
150 yeshivas we have here a list of all
the yeshivas we had boys from amazing
and um got a lot of great feedback um
and we took them to the American dream
mall last
week um and they had a blast a whole day
of kizo we had Joey n come and did music
we had water park we had a full meal
from chickies over there and a lot of a
lot of great speeches the boys loved it
there was tons of dancing there was a
real feeling of kadosa in the air so one
one's listening to this and saying wow
this Rabbi is really into this whole
topic it's unbelievable but what's the
main idea like what's like I could still
see someone let's say not maybe holding
with kadha or so much like what's the
big deal to go like why does one have to
uh keep his eyes kades his eyes holy
what what would be the right response to
him I deal with a lot of cure of people
for example I I speak about it and and
many times they look at me like where
did he fall out of you know like I'm
watching things I'm you know on the
phone or going to places right so very
good question now obviously for you know
once you get pulled into this it becomes
an addiction it ruins your your
connection with your wife with your
children with with your t it takes you
over so for example for G they don't I'm
saying for them this is all normality it
doesn't make difference so unfortunately
there's people that that watch
movies unfortunately M movies but uh
what what do we so for earlier like for
everybody right the idea of sh what's
really the idea behind sh why is it so
important is it is it because I'm going
to be dirty is it what what's really the
asside for normal people I'm not talking
about once he becomes addictive that's
already obvious why it's a problem so
Rabbi y elephant once gave us over this
idea and he said I want you to share
this because from the Mir he's a famous
magir in
Isel and he's very close with the
organization and he once told me I want
you to give over this message to the
world so I'm happy to share it the whole
world okay get ready what's behind sh
what's really the problem with it so he
said it's interesting that the mitvah of
right is the same para
of do not stray after your eyes and
after your heart is in the same para of
the
mitah now the mitvah what does mean
means to take a deep
look it says he's peeking out from the
cracks
right means to take a deep look right
now tell us that the on the ti the blue
string on the tittis is supposed to
remind us of the Sea and the Sea reminds
us of the sky and the sky reminds us of
the
kov that's called taking a deep look why
does it have to be you know maybe just
the blue reminds me of the kov no it
reminds me of the sea which reminds me
of the sky which reminds me of the K the
idea of the kazal are trying to tell us
here is that when you just see blue
don't see just the outside don't see
don't see the
external look at the
depth of something see something and
think how you can see Hashem in it our
eyes were given to us to see Hashem in
the world they were given to us to see
the Torah the depth of the tah the tah
could look very it could look very
um not what's the word I'm looking for
in
English uh superficial that's the word
superficiality and that's what this
world is really today this whole world
is superficial the tah has infinite
depth on all levels of
par every word of the T has a thousand
SAS in it and even the gar that we learn
is so so deep and requires so much you
know depth of thought and work to really
understand the r and his T that's what
our eyes were given to us for to see
deep and therefore Hashem puts the
mitzah ofu in the same par to tell us
that why should you not stray after your
eyes not because you're going to go
together or because you're going to be
dirty or whatever the reason you
shouldn't stray after your eyes hhm is
telling us is because if you stray after
the packaging if you stray after The
Superficial it's like somebody gives you
a beautiful present a present a very um
precious present and it's covered in a
beautiful box with a ribbon and you say
wow look at this box it's beautiful and
you put it on your shelf you don't even
open the present that's what is about
when you look at the when you look at
the superficiality
of the external the paging you're not
seeing hasem you're not able to see the
depth of anything you know and that's
the technology today is built to catch
our attention and constantly keep us
interested with flashing colors and neon
lights and we can't get past the neon
lights we're not training our eyes to be
able to see Hashem in the world only by
guarding our eyes is how we train
ourselves to be able to see Hashem and
there's a story that reab elephant Tells
over from the at many years ago there
was a um a story with Baba mayor the son
English edition or the Hebrew Edition I
think English Baba mayor was a son of
Baba Sali and there was a rashash Shiva
who came to him together with a group of
people and they said a boy was kidnapped
linu in London I think he was kidnapped
and they don't know where he is he's
lost and um
mayor thought and he took out a piece of
paper and he made some lines on a piece
of paper and he said he's on this in
this street and this in this apartment
and they sent down the consulate and
they found the boy wow and the rashash
was amazed and he asked him and the Riva
wrote this article in the ated he was
there he asked him how how did you know
and he said I never looked at something
I shouldn't in my life and therefore I
could see you know because was created
to see
he was able to see from one end of the
world to the other but after the he lost
that ability and that's actually why he
was embarrassed because originally his
main Essence was his Nish and the Goof
his body was only a Le a garment for his
Nish right so why would I be embarrassed
if I have a garment over my Essence
right but once he sinned and the body
became the ior now he's embarrassed he
needs a lush for the body body soem made
them and they felt they needed to be
dressed so clothes that we wear are
actually a muscle to the body being a Le
to the Nish and that's why the Mitzvah
ofis is on what on a beged Hashem says
on the beged which is a parallel to the
Lush of the body over the over there I
want you to put the the to teach you
don't look at the external don't look at
The Superficial look deeper beautiful
very Rabbi amazing insights U powerful
powerful words that you're saying and we
have a minaga custom and Tor talks which
is a final message for our broad
audience I just want to share something
cute if I could please um I was thanking
um yesterday Don grimian for giving us
his water park yes for free and uh he's
a big believer in American dream I think
the American Dream
all and I told him that it was a
tremendous kashem it was very inspiring
I thanked him and I'm just reading you
his answer he says it's funny to me that
you think you should be thanking me
because I gave over a stupid water park
as a reward for the most incredible
accomplishments of these boys who
guarded their eyes I am the luckiest
person ever created to have had the to
host such Holiness isn't that amazing
it's amazing very nice and we put
together this book and next year we hope
to make this into even a bigger movement
yes kak will get
involved we'll put it out there to the I
appreciate it cuz we want to get next
year 3 4,000 bam signed up to this and
geared to B it's geared mainly for Bim
we had weekly Raffles with hundreds of
dollars worth ofarim and Juda nice only
the B were in the Raffles but we invited
the the married guys to come to the
water park event as well everyone who
came got one of these books that has the
whole 50 how does one get more
information about all your grade
projects and work so first of all go to
chm.org um and go to guard.com to those
two websites yeah and we're looking for
sponsors to cover this we we it cost us
about $75,000 this year we got about
20,000 sponsored so we're still minus 50
if anyone wants to be a sponsor for this
year or for next year tremendous
tremendous because if we get our B to go
into marriage with the right perspective
you know how many people come us and
guard your eyes and say if someone had
only spoken to me about these things
when I was younger I wouldn't have
messed up my life and my marriage so
much you know so I believe this program
which takes kuk and tips and tools from
the stier from you know psychologist
from MIM like Rabbi Kim do Stark in
Israel wrote a book called foundations
for life we took a lot of material from
there great book you know about how to
prepare boys for marriage if we can
prepare our boys to come into marriage
with the right perspective um it'll be a
different one
day I just want to end with one uh
message sure please the
um that was the first sin yeah and I
believe that before mhia comes hem wants
to bring back the again for us to have
one final chance to fix it before
mashiah the internet is by definition
the
why it's the sum total of all human
knowledge eight and it's eight it's a
web it's con you know it goes out in all
directions everything humanly ever like
millions of shim millions of good things
like K or anytime used for the most
incredible MIT at the same time we don't
have to talk about what the internet can
offer we actually made a little cute
image in this book of a tree with a guy
standing under the tree with his phone
and it's a with green apples and red
apples to the yeah green apples and red
apples the green apples are all the good
things the red apples the red apples are
all the bad things that you can get on
the internet I usually give a shout out
to daily giving and I usually give it a
shout out to torney time so I'll do it
right now at the end I usually do that
yeah daily giving is an amazing
organization they're also helping guard
your eyes they asked me also to give a
shout out they're tremendous um Dr Don
was on the program as well very nice so
this idea that
back again right before mhia hasem has
brought back the the tree of all human
knowledge and our job is to choose
correctly this time and that will bring
us to the
ultimate did I say that
right for amazing Torah talk that we
just had
daa with Holiness we want to remind
everyone Tuesday nights 8:30 p.m.
