Okay, welcome everyone to tonight's very
special event. I thank of course Asher
for organizing the all the music and um
of course we thank Barakis and of course
the or for everybody.
[applause and cheering]
>> So so somebody might might be wondering
um maybe uh do we forget the calendar is
maybe it's not the right day. So it was
just of course just a few a few hours
ago we had this amazing amazing of uh of
of tubish and um somebody some it's a
very confusing holiday because most
people they don't know they know about
rashish everyone knows about they hear
hundreds of dr speeches about it maybe
tubisha people don't even know what it
is maybe they'll just they'll buy a
fruit they don't even know what it is
and something that he said once is that
you would think that that tubish you're
celebrating the trees Look outside.
There's nobody can find parking for
there's a foot and a half of snow
outside. Maybe it's in the it's in the
wrong calendar month. But but he but
what he say he said he said no because
in Judaism in in the Torah we don't
celebrate just oh the end and then okay
fine you see a tree. We we we celebrate
the potential this the the seed is there
which is still uh which still which is
still growing inside. And of course that
that we see the the potential. And of
course uh a rabbi who is uh we infusing
us with so much um uh potential and and
growth is is the rabbi bandell who
hashem takes the time. He drives out e
even in the blizzard last week. He's no
we're doing this year. We're giving that
inspiration. So we thank the rabbi for
always giving the giving us the
inspiration taking the time.
>> [applause]
[cheering]
>> Thank you, Robbie. I put this thing on.
>> Which one do I put on?
>> This one.
>> Just move the camera. Just step it back.
>> Let people know that we're starting.
[sighs and gasps]
Okay, for everyone who came out,
I know it's not simple with the with the
snowstorm, with the blizzard, with uh
even in Florida, they got a blizzard. I
heard no 38 degrees, they have lizards
falling down from trees to lux.
[laughter]
They got lizards. They got lizard just
kind of walking in the street, they got
a lizard on your head. They're cold
blooded [laughter]
38°. You're not used to it. There's
lizards falling down. And there's also a
few people in Florida also falling down.
They never thought it would get to 38
degrees also.
This week's and as Rabbi was telling us,
obviously we just came out of a
holidayish. So, we're going to get into
a bunch of different details. Let's see
what we can cover tonight in the time
that we have. One thing I want to focus
in on is a question that most people
probably asking themselves is how did
this guy get awareness?
Who else? Huh?
Now what we don't see.
So the question always asks well the
question that's always asked by the lady
is what did you do to get such a thing?
Now on top of that you also have to
really look into the what happens if you
talk
which is obviously no question about it
but I feel like it's such a big topic
that we have to maybe talk about it just
briefly but just in the beginning you
talk comes sends a message to Moshe that
I'm coming with your daughter and your
children and Mosheu goes out who goes
out with Moshe Moshe goes alone goes
then everyone sees Moshe and Alonim go
the go the whole nation goes out the
whole nation goes out to meet
only two people in the history that the
whole nation came out to greet them who
are they and
when came out to meet came out Ysef came
out people came to greet
Only two people honored this. Who is
that? Yakov. Who's Jacobu? The of the
choiciest of the Jakobu. Who you
comparing him to? Who was it to before?
He came to convert in over here in this
week's par.
He was a median. He used to do a lot of
id worship. Who was he? He was he was
one of the advisers for parole.
How did you get to your place? So we
have to really see how it start
the first two words
heard. So what does he hear? says he
heard
and in the word right because there also
over here in the word
what is everything that did so the
question ask what is
just tell me everything never adds any
words so comes and adds
a few different things but one thing we
have to really and the lady bring it
down
what what made him so special
that he heard at what does that mean?
Look at the story of the what happens in
the
dam what happens dam Hashem comes down
he makes a and all the water turns to
blood. Now if me and an Egyptian are
drinking from the same cup, I'll drink
water. He drinks blood come the
magicians and they duplicate it on a
small scale. Comes says no no you see
they did the same thing. It's not legit.
You guys are not all powerful and
mighty. Wait a minute. Wait a minute.
Okay, if I can turn this cup into blood,
you're going to be woo. This guy's a
good magician. We're going to bring him
from next.
[laughter]
I if I can make you you one of the
person drink from a cup and you drinking
water I'm drinking blood and not with
the middle compartment like they have in
those you know they show you one side
other side is the middle compartment
legit
legit this is why one is drinking I'm
drinking and we're drinking blood this
is a pelle this he doesn't see this he
doesn't see frog
that's cuz one came out and they beat it
so on and so forth they also were able
to kim
oh
Tell him already no at least we can't do
black magic doesn't go such a small
place and to one by one is looking for
excuses no you see over here over here
all pestilence devil they left the
horses of the royal chariot were left so
what did Paul say no you see god's not
almighty he could have killed all the
animals he only he left the horses he's
not almighty he doesn't realize maz the
whole entire picture what's the whole
picture why didn't Hashem kill the
horses
How would leave after the Jewish people
after when they go to catch? How is he
going to go? AND NO HORSES. LET'S GO
WITH WHAT? There's no horses. [laughter]
Where are we going? So he [snorts] left
him horses without what?
Now there's different different of that
Hashem took the Jewish nation
we'll deal with
of the biggest in the world the Jewish
people had is you want to know that it's
not just enough to leave Egypt I always
give this mash I didn't come to talk
about it but I'll give you the
no one should ever know him suffering a
girl who gets kidnapped by a man and
she's held hostage in his basement for
20 years she manages one day to crack
through a window and escape and run
away. She gets home that day to her
family. Is she sleeping that night? How
does she feel that night when she goes
to sleep? He's out there. He's going to
come back. He's going to get me and for
the rest of her life, he has PTSD. But
if [snorts]
the police officers catch the manuk
couple and they show him on a stretcher,
okay, what are they going to do now?
Then the woman's going to feel, okay,
now I can sleep at night. He's not
coming back. The Jews leave Egypt and
they're like, "Okay, we left, but what's
stopping them from chasing after us in
20 minutes?" Hashem says, "Don't worry,
they're going to come." And guess who
you're going to see? Tell us their
bodies washed up on shore. And every
single person saw their oppressor. The
person who oppressed them, they saw them
on the shore. And not only took the gold
and the riches, they saw him. They know
he's never coming back. Why,
so how can they get there if they don't
have horses? They cannot get there. Oh,
he comes after the Now, let's forget the
fact that it's fire and ice together.
Never heard of in the history of the
world. Even magicians cannot do it. Fire
and ice together. This doesn't see. Huh?
Oh, he's with the glasses. Don't worry.
Like,
oh, but the fact that he left over a few
crops, he's like, "Oh, you see, you see,
he left over a few crops. You see, it's
not all powerful and mighty." Now, what
does he not know? Why does the leave a
few crops? Cuz when the locust come,
they not off to eat. They're not going
to want to eat. They're not going to
come doesn't see as comes
and everything Hashem did. He saw the
whole entire picture. He didn't just
look in parts of the moon. He didn't
just look parts of the show and say,
"Oh, this show is not for me." Huh? My
wife was reading a book today and with
the books and I'm talking about they
have these all these uh I don't even
know the names of the books. [laughter]
They have all these books and this
romance and all these things. Yeah.
As a
There was one book
in the beginning very boring but a
friend told you got to keep on reading
cuz in the end it gets juicy. I said
throw the in the garbage [laughter]
mind guy's going to come in the middle
of the story and he's going to come in
the beginning of the show. He's going to
sing this is not for me. He's going to
come in the middle. He's going to think
to himself what's going on over here.
Huh? It's not the whole story is upside
down and but in the end, oh now I
understand why everything happens. So
too in a person's life you have to
understand you cannot judge a story by
parts. You have to know that everything
is and calculated and what
differentiated
is that he heard but not only that he
heard that he did something about it.
You know who else heard? All the nations
of the world here
opens up kills everybody. You're not
going to hear about it. Even Robbie
heard about it. No. All the way over
here. [laughter]
Kulam Shamu. Who came? One person. No
one else in the world was motivated to
come. Right now you're here in Iran.
Iran a long time ago. Iran can a sea
splits. You're going to go. You're going
to say, "Whoa, what kind you going to
hear about it?" No. You hear God came
down the Jewish nation in Iran. All
20,000 20,000 of the Persians over
there. They crossed the sea. Yeah. What
are you going to think? Wow. I have to
go meet the Persians now.
I'm going down to great neck. [laughter]
I look my neck's not so great only a
middle neck or t- neck of you know great
neck why cuz he hears everybody hears
one person comes
comes that's
what does say what did hashem show
himself toenuhenu
was out with the herd tending to the
cattle on how long was he over there
people don't notice how long was mushenu
out tending to the flock of
40 days
to eat they're walking wondering nowhere
to go nowhere to settle why in the
future that is going to lead the nation
40 years
and then he sees a burning bushen
says let me turn and see what's going on
let me turn and see what's going on
brings a few different opinions says
what did he do when he turned and see he
took three steps. One, two, three.
Says,
he says, not only did he not only he
didn't take any steps, you know what he
did? He turned his neck. All he did was
turn his neck. Says the midashem
testifies him because
you you pain yourself to look. I'll
redeem myself through you.
When a person in life is alert things
that going on around him and he's alert
to the way he looks at life, he
understands that what I see and what I
do and the actions and how alert I am.
Certain people are looking for an
excuse. Certain people are looking for
an answer to excuse himself. But deep
down inside they know I made deep down
inside they know that what they're
saying is a lie. How many people you
talk to talking to them? How come you
don't come to school? No. And it's and
there's no real grasp to what they're
saying, but they allow themselves to
believe it to escape the responsibility.
Says, "You're right. I have it right in
front of me. I have it right in front of
me. And guess what? I'm not going to
escape it." So he become
everything's in front of him. What
happened to
whatever? He got out. He became the it's
a different story. Okay. What happened
there? because he ignored he ignores
everything in front of him. And so to
the way a person looks in life, he looks
at himself. When you look for something,
you're going to find it. They did an
experiment. They put a person in a room.
I told him, "Look, look around the room.
Look for anything brown." So he looked
around the room. Said, "Okay, you found
anything brown? How many red things you
saw?" Said, "Not a lot." Goes, "Okay,
now look for red." So he looks around
the room. Said, "How many red things you
saw?" He says, "A few red things."
Let me ask you,
when you were looking at the brown, how
many things that were beige that weren't
brown and said, "Oh, this is also brown.
I'm going to bring it to the or the red
for the burgundy." And when you're
looking at the brown, did you see the
red? And when you're looking for the
red, did you see the burgundy? No. A
person in life will only see what he's
looking for. And not only that, he start
making up stories. This one is beige,
it's really brown. This one is burg,
it's really red. He start making up
stories to justify his actions to
justify what he he feels because he
wants to see and and I think it's a big
male how is it relevant to us because
the way a person sees himself if a
person sees himself as a failure as a
person has no value no worth then he
attracts that attention to himself and
that's it
but a person only sees good for himself
only sees greatness coming from himself
this person will be great this person
will
this person will rise about them all.
Why? Because he attracts that thing to
himself. He sees himself as a good
thing. And I think if you look out into
the world, you look at what the outside
world measured success. What are they
going to tell you, your business, how
much money you have, the woman you're
married to, all these things. And I
think it's the most amazing thing.
Imagine to yourself right now for the
parable. A pineapple is sitting on a on
the pineapple tree vine. Yeah.
And he's looking at an apple and he
says, he said, "Basa, look at this
beautiful apple. He come in so many nice
colors. Red, yellow, green, red and
green, red and yellow." He has what
other burgundy. How many apples they
have this many shapes? And every time,
once a year, twice a year, people come
apple picking. Nobody goes pineapple
picking. When I see a person pineapple
picking, huh? I have this weird hair,
you know, this green thing comes out of
my head. I have these holes all over me
that are like weird things, and if you
want to kosher me, you have to cut them
out. Oh, I mean weird things and stuff.
How come I couldn't be an apple? No.
Would it be nice to be an apple? No.
What a terrible comparison.
What the pineapple doesn't know is that
what's actually healthier for you, an
apple or a pineapple.
Go look a pineapple.
Anti-inflammatory. Supports the immune
system. Joint healing.
Quick Google search. [laughter]
or a blueberry. A blueberry is going to
look at a strawberry. What is it going
to say? You ever saw nowadays they have
the strawberries? They sell you one
strawberry in a glass container for
$500. Chinese strawberry. Handpicked,
hand woven. Have It's a strawberry.
[laughter]
Strawberry. Beautiful. Look at the
seeds. They put a little switch of water
on it.
Organic.
>> [laughter]
>> eat. There you go. There you go. Take a
lot of bugs. Yeah. So, the blueberry is
going to look at the strawberry. He's
going to say, "I'm dark. He's nice and
red. My seeds are inside. Nobody can see
them. I have this like weird crown/
circular thing on top of my head. I'm
just a weird round berry. Look at him.
It's like a triangle.
Looks like a heart sometimes. You know,
it's beautiful. It's that green thing
coming from him.
[laughter]
He doesn't know what a dietitian say.
What is one of the healthiest berries
you can eat? A blueberry if you want.
Start whatever
healthy to eat blueberries. So if if I'm
if I'm an a pineapple, if I'm a
blueberry and I compare myself to an
apple or a strawberry, it's the
stupidest thing I could do, for lack of
a better word. So too, if you compare
yourself to somebody you see on social
media, it's the dumbest thing you could
ever do.
It's the dumbest thing you ever do. If a
person looks at social media and says,
"But look at his life and look at this
and look at that." I'm telling you right
now, there is no comparison. You're
comparing apples to oranges and that
life is all fake. Cuz I tell you
something about life. The louder
something is, the less happy it is. Real
shalom bite, you don't see this. They
post your online. We're going on a trip
today.
Let's go. Go have a picking. Everybody
pose. Pose. Pose. [laughter]
Yeah.
Facebook story. Instagram story. Hello
everybody. We have a great time today.
Bunch of nonsense. Huh? Where's the real
salom? Where's the real bite? The one
you don't see. Go to the Reby's house.
Go to the rabbi's house. See what the
reality looks like. You don't see You
don't see them in the street. Gucci
mucci woocci.
Cuz if I have a hund00 million diamond,
right? If I have $100 million in my
safe, right? Right now I have 100
million. $100 million diamond.
>> You tell me I don't believe you. I need
to show it to you. So don't believe me.
I have $100 million diamond. The only
time I want to show it to you is when I
don't really have it. If I don't really
have $100 million diamond, I'm trying to
make up stories. No, it's in the car.
It's in the mechanic. It's in the shop.
[laughter]
No, I left it in West 47th Street Mama.
I have a Somebody asked me the other
day. I think this is a big thing we
spoke about in the past. As to me, I
don't understand. I have a hard time
making friends in the circles that I'm
in. I said, "What do you mean?" He says,
"Well, I work in a public school
and I don't really get along with my
colleagues and I with the friend groups,
the people that I grew up with, and I
don't really get along with all these
people. Excuse me, I don't understand
it. I said to them, the reason why you
don't get along with these people
because you're not meant to get along
with these people because Hashem doesn't
want you to be friends with them because
you're up here and they're down here and
you're trying to bring yourself down
here and there's no connection. Apples
to oranges, pineapples to apples,
blueberries to strawberries, no
connection. And that's the way it is in
life. If you realize how amazing and how
valuable you are and you look outside
into the world and what does it tell
you? Look at all this loud loud loud
loud car loud. The more loud they dress,
the less self-esteem they have. The
louder their car, less self here.
Driving on the block, zero self-esteem.
Guarantee it. Talk to the guy. He's
know
that's where that
and never in my life ever
in my life ever said to myself, "Wow, I
can't wake up to wake up four o'clock in
the morning and wake up all the
neighbors."
Loyal shoot [laughter] lo
I never in my life had this desire I
don't understand what straight pipe back
pipe left pipe all pipe this pipe there
a spoiler on the car not spoiler on the
car red interior not red interior beige
blue orange green
everyone should look
what's going on inside empty
the louder something is the more fake it
is a reality of life and when you look
outside into the world and things look
amazing. I think the biggest problem is
that deep down inside everybody knows
this, right? Ask anyone in the world.
Everything I see online is fake. But
they allowed themselves to believe that
in some alternate reality that there is
a person as a way that I could have that
and be happy [snorts]
here. Some alternate reality. You're
right. Maybe they're not happy. But if I
live that life, I would be happy. That's
the That's the problem is they don't
realize it. They think if I was an apple
then I'd be happy. But they don't
realize how great you are to be a
pineapple.
You don't realize how amazing it is to
not have that life.
You know how demanding and how much of I
don't even want to tell you. I have
people who come to me who are famous
online. I have people who are
multi-billion. I'm I'm not joking
around. We have so many people. And I
tell you one thing, nobody in the world
wants you to see the dirty laundry.
Nobody in the world wants you to see the
dirty laundry. But you know who sees all
the dirty laundry? The rabbis.
cuz they come to us, rabbi, you know,
student teacher confidentiality. Ken,
you're not going to tell anybody and
starts talking about this and that and
that. You're like, whoa, you know, say
get back up, you know, stay away and get
a restraining order.
And it's not meal.
The more businesses you have, the more
money you have, the more worries you can
have in life. And then so too for
everything. If a person understands that
Hashem created him,
I don't want to say completely the way
it's supposed to be because in the we
have to work but on the and the money
and the all these things Hashem already
predetermined for you.
says there's a malik we spoke about in
the past's name is that he goes and he
takes a and he comes to and says what's
going to be with this of he's going to
be handsome not handsome he's going to
be rich not rich smart not smart
everything to testify about him except
for one thing if he's going to be
everything is in the hands of God except
what you do fore so if that part of your
life of the yi the looks the money, the
success, that's already predetermined.
Hashem already decided for you. So why
we wasting our time with these things?
Hashem created me in those elements
exactly the way I'm supposed to be. I'm
supposed to look the way that I look.
Guy was looking in the in the water.
Back in they didn't have mirrors, you
know. I'm talking about today they have
mirrors, you know. They didn't have so
much mirrors back in the day. Even
though in the times of whatever they had
mirrors, they were looking in the water
to see themsel. So one guy saw himself.
He got turned he said
hooked it up
and then he told himself
you you wicked person what are you
I woke up this morning decided how I'm
going to look huh maybe if I went to LA
Los Angeles I met with Dr.
for $30,000. Make my nose like this.
Make my face like this. Makes my lips
like this. You know, I told you guys the
mighty ducks are making a comeback 2026.
[laughter]
The guys over there. Okay.
I'll tell you one thing someone told me
a long time ago and it resonates very
very strong.
No one in the world a present that
Hashem gave you, no one in the world can
recreate. No matter how many you pay for
the doctor, a real no one can recreate.
Hashem created you exactly where you're
supposed to be for your for your job
over here in the world. You created
exactly the way you are. The way you
look, the money, money you make, all
these things, Hashem decided for you
already. So what's the one thing that
you weren't created perfectly in?
That's the
that's where the real battle is. And
that's why
right when he goes up to get the
what does it say? The angels come and
they attack. Excuse me, Hashem.
How many generations did Hashem hide
this hidden treasure of the Torah away
and put it away? How many generations? A
thousand generations minus the 26
generations, 974, whatever. It's
different calculation.
How many generations? And you're going
to give it to flesh and blood. You're
going to give it to this person who was
born of a woman amongst angels. What
will makes more sense to you? Hashem,
you want us to do your will. Hashem
wants us to keep.
Who can keep it better? Also an angel.
Also robot robot easily tell robot he's
gonna do whatever you want robot
why you giving it to this person but
what are you giving it to him he's going
to ruin it keep it with us [snorts] and
mashem looks at hashem and he says
hashem what am I going to do says
answers them I'm afraid that they're
going to burn to death they're going to
kill me the angels says hold on to my k
hold on to my throne and answer them and
just starts going off on them.
He says to them, "Hashem commanded us,
I'm your god. Don't have another god.
Why you have
any other gods instead of
respect your mother, your father? Why
angels have parents?" Shabbat. Why you
guys work? You ever heard of angel
working during the week? He has a busy
day. Home warranties.
[laughter]
You see angel picking up cars in the
lift. She's over there. Angels don't
worry. He doesn't
don't kill, don't steal, don't cheat.
You have you have
this is the answers he give them and in
the end so they give
they say you know what you're right it
belongs to man
this is the says afterwards the all come
and they give him presence gives him the
which he teaches them how to
brings down what do we learn from over
here I think the biggest m from over
here is hashem gave us a because we're
not angels
because we're not perfect because we
stumble because we fall.
That's what makes the Torah ours. If
Hashem wants us to work, Hashem says all
the other things, don't worry about
them. But the things you have to worry
about, which is which is your
work for Hashem,
those things I want you to work and over
there you have to understand what you
can gain if you do work. And one guy
asked me, he said to me, "Rabbi, how do
you judge yourself spiritually? How do
you know what level you're on
spiritually?" I tell him, "Okay, I'll
tell you. I believe
I'm sure if I look
maybe I'll find
I believe
that Hashem gave us dieting and
nutrition as a gateway into
that teaches you willpower, right? So
when a person wants to track his weight,
right? How does he know if he's going
down? If you track himself every day,
what happens? Fluctuates. Water weight,
not water weight. I ran last night, not
ran last night. Boom. Boom. B. I heard
that the fighters when they prepare for
a fight, they go on the treadmill with
15 garbage bags on them. They go down 30
lbs in one night. 30 lbs one night.
Water weight. It comes like a pickle to
the [laughter]
to the weight after night. In the night
time, he's chugging water. Okay. 30 lbs
overnight. So, how can you weigh
yourself? How do you know if you're
going up and down? You can't take a
daily average, what can you take a
weekly average? If I weigh myself every
single day and I take my weekly average
and week over week, I'm on a downward.
That means I'm losing weight. Week I'm
upward that means I'm gaining weight. If
I judge myself spiritually
every single day, I'll have days that
are much more difficult than others.
Yesterday could be was an amazing day
for me. I woke up, I prayed, I went and
I put the sh and I learned and today was
difficult for me. So what I have to
measure myself from today? No. Where am
I over the span of the week? If I take
an everyday average, am I getting
better? Am I getting worse?
So week over week, if I'm getting
better, that means I'm going to grow.
It's exactly what Hashem wants from us.
We're going to have days where it's
difficult. We're going to have
especially last week with with a
snowstorm.
The kids are at home, not at home. Go
jumping off the walls. Go prey now.
Yeah. You're walking in snow. You know,
you don't want to fall to get to the
minan. You get in there boots from here
to Shamay. You in a snowsuit like you
went to Alaska. You sledded over there.
We were sledding over there. We had
sleds to get to the minan. So a guy
said, "Ah, I feel so bad. I went and I
didn't go and
is not measured by individual actions.
Is measured by totality. Who are we in a
whole? Are we moving upward, moving
downward? Are we getting better every
single day? Are we growing? Are we
getting better versions of ourel? And
that's what Hashm wants from us. He
wants us to be real with ourselves to do
the internal work and say ourselves. You
know why I created you? Is because
you're not perfect. And guess what? When
you fall down and you get up and you
keep on moving, that's what makes the
world perfect. There's a mash I heard of
a woman in Thailand one of these
countries. She lives on top of a
mountain. She used to work in a laundry
company. She would basically take
people's clothing in the neighborhood
before they had the laundry mats for,
you know, money laundering. No, before
they had the laundry mats, okay? They
would come with a woman and she would
take like one of those like, you know,
those old boards and she would clean it
and then she would hang it to air dry.
That was her business. Every morning she
would go down to the watering well and
she would carry the bucket. You know how
you used to carry buckets back in the
day with one stick and then one bucket
here, one bucket here. She would carry
the bucket every day as you would come
up.
When her son was born, she had a son who
his right leg was shorter than his left
leg.
But she needed help. She's getting
older. So her son would walk up the
mountain, but every time he would walk,
he would stumble and fall. And he get
back up, stumble on the phone, get back
up. And after a few weeks of working
with his mom, the right side bucket
would always come up pretty much empty.
And the left would be almost full.
So he comes to his mom and says, "Mom, I
don't I think it's better that you just,
I don't know, get rid of me or replace
me or something. I just I don't feel
like I'm benefiting you. Every time I
come, I fall and I and I'm causing all
this water to fall. I'm not bringing you
water. It's not helping the business,
not helping the family.
And the mom says, "That's what you
think." She said, "Come on with me." She
says, "Come outside." She takes him on
the trail. She walks on. She says, "Look
at the trail. What do you see?" She see
mud on the trail. She says, "Come on
with me now. Let's go to the trail you
walk on." She goes to the trail he walks
on. So, which side of the bucket did you
say was the one that always had the
water coming out? The right side. Just
look at your trail. He looks at his
trail and what does he see? The left
side is nothing and the right side is
all beautiful flowers. Cuz you don't
realize that when you're falling down,
you are watering these plants and they
grew because of you. So, you think your
imperfection is is not bringing
something to the world. Rather it is.
But if a person never gets up, if he
falls down, never gets up, then he'll
never make those flowers. He'll never
get up to keep on going and to keep on
growing. says, "I want you because
you're not perfect, but I want you to
grow. And that's exactly what I need you
to do. I don't need you to be a malik. I
don't need you to be a machine. I don't
need you to be an angel. I'm okay with
the fact that you have time you stumble
and fall.
You get up. Most important thing is you
keep on getting and understand that when
we do fall, when we get up in those
moments, that's what creates a beautiful
world. That's what's allows us to keep
on going, keep on going, keep on going
because we understand this is why Hashem
created us. That's exactly what we
learned from here. To wasn't given for
people who are perfect. That's why it
was given to you to
because he didn't start off perfect but
in the end he became one of the names he
had
meaning something that's precious to me
says because the Torah was precious to
him when do we see that and I'll finish
with this if we look at where does his
original origin start tells you one of
the advisers when when asks him what are
we going to do one of these babies
runs
Where does he go to Midian? He becomes a
priest in Midian. Long before he meets
Moshenu, he denounces their religion. He
says, "This is all fake. It's all phony.
It's all baloney. I'm denouncing
everything." And what happened because
of that? How many daughters did he have?
Seven. And when they went out to the
water cuz nobody wanted to work with
him, they all hated him. They would make
his daughters wait until the end of the
day to water and they would stick there
every day. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible.
What can he tell himself?
I left this fake religion for you, God.
And this is my reward that my life is
getting more difficult. I get closer to
you. My life is getting more difficult.
This is my reward. This is what you're
giving me. This is what I deserve for
doing this. What he didn't see? What
didn't he see? What ended up happening
because of this? Well, let's look at the
story. Mosheu comes down to the watering
well.
And who does he see? He sees the
daughters of it trying to water and the
shepherds are pestering them. Mosha who
saves them takes the watering well and
gives them. They go home. The father
says, "Why'd you come home so early
today? There was an Egyptian man. Mosha
who was still dressed in Egyptian
clothing." Yeah. There's an Egyptian man
who came and he gave us water and he
saved us. So he to say, "How come you
don't bring him BACK TO K? GO GET HIM."
And they ran and they go get him. And
what ends up happening, Mosher Mosher
ends up marrying his daughter, Tipa. HE
BECOMES A FATHER-IN-LAW Mushenu
that he says in he would be so amazed
that he was he was f with why because he
stood for the he never let go of the he
never let go of the truth and he held on
to it he never let go and that's the
reality of our life if we go with
Hashem's we're never going to lose
you'll never lose anything by going I'll
tell you two stories I'm going to finish
okay I don't want to make any promises
real promises finish these two stories
real stories that were and from him
maybe we could understand sometimes in
life for our mind takes us the wrong
places. We have fear
was today this morning. When were the
trees created? Huh? Come on. Huh? The
third day of creation.
And when were they created originally?
The shami tells us that they created all
with fruits. No fruits. And not only
that, there's the midash. Hashem
commanded them that they would be
created that they would bear fruit and
the tree, the wood, THE BRANCHES ALSO
WOULD BE EDIBLE.
The trees didn't listen. However, what
did they do? They made beautiful fruit
and they made impalable wood. So, Hashem
punished them for that. He says, "Wait a
minute. Hello tree. Why? Why? Why? Why
you didn't listen to Hashem?" Huh?
Hashem commanded you.
Hashem tell you to do something you're
going to change. Hashem tells you to
make yourself edible.
What are they reasoning the trees? He
said if we're going to create our
stuffed edible they're going to eat the
tree. They're going to eat the branches
and the going to be no more trees after
one year. There's going to be a few
weddings in over here in the wedding
hall over here. They're going to be tree
platters everywhere. So they changed
said we're doing it for the right
reasons. We want Hashem's creation to
have continuation.
Good good reasoning. You guys like it?
It's good. You like it? Comes
and he brings a mash. Here's a beautiful
mash. What's the mash? One time the king
told one of his ministers cuz you're
going right where the foreign country.
Do me a favor. I know you like to bet.
You like to gamble. You like to go to
the casino. Do me a favor. Don't make
any bets over there. No racing, no
nothing. I said, "Of course you got it.
Whatever the king wants." That goes to
other kingdom. The ambassador over there
tells him, "Look, let's bet me and you
few million." What's the bet? That
you're not a hunchback. I mean, you are
a hunchback that you're a hunchback.
What kind of ridiculous bet is this, my
friend? I'm not a hunchback. No, no. I'm
willing to make the bet with you. I'm
willing to make the bet that you're a
hunchback. Not I'm not a hunchback. So,
they bet me. They bet me. We bring a
doctor to a bet.
Okay.
It's a no-brainer. I'm not a hunchback.
How much you want to bet? How about
this? My 5 million to your 1 million.
You like it? Good bet. I'm not a
hunchback. So guy says to himself,
"Yeah, ya. Let's make the bed." The
king's going to be very happy. I'm
bringing you back 6 million. It's a good
deal. I'm not a hunchback. Okay. It's a
no-brainer. I say, "Okay, make the bed."
The guy says, "Oh, I lost." Here he
goes. Here you 5 million. The guy goes
back to the king. He's ecstatic. He's
like, "King, you don't even know. I just
won5 million. He said, "What do you mean
you won 5 million?" I I know the king
told me not to bet. I know. I know.
Wait, wait, wait, wait. Let me just
wait. Let me just tell the king for a
second. Okay. $5 million that I'm not a
that I'm a hunchback. [laughter]
So, I got my million.
Look at him say, "What did I tell you?"
Oh, what did I tell you? You fool. What?
I made a bet with him that you're not
going to bet. You know how much money
you LOST ME? I LOST 100 MILLION.
[laughter]
You gave back with 5 million. I lost 95
be trees.
>> Hashem says I get it. It's nice. It
makes sense to you, but if it's not with
my emit, then it's not what I want. I
don't care how much it makes sense to
you, how much it makes logic to you.
Nothing. If it's not my I don't want it.
So you're right. The trees were afraid.
So if it's not my I don't want it. So
what happened with this? When a person
goes where they met, it's only what they
gain. There was a story of a businessman
in the Syrian community. He used to sell
toilet paper. Now I'm going to ask you
guys a serious question. You answer me
for real. And a toilet paper. It says
1,000 meters. Anybody over here ever
count?
Anybody over here toilet paper?
Counting. You counting
a thousand. And
>> businessmen, Jewish guys, look, I work
with Costco. I work with Walmart. You
know
what does it make a difference? 1,000
950 50 m a few cents I'll save everyone
multiply by a million I'm making good
money. So for 3 years this guy takes
a,000 meter roll and instead of a th000
he puts 950
>> for three years. One day he goes to
Rabbi taking
says over there
brings it down
that
you're not allowed to steal from a
Not like some people think. Yeah. You're
not allowed to steal from a
three. He goes, "What are you doing?" He
goes, "I've been taking 50 meters out of
the toilet paper for 3 years. You know
how many millions and millions? I don't
even know who these people are. Right?
What can I do? Look, are most of your
clients return clients or not return?
Look, I have 90% return clients with
good toilet paper. Yeah. 90% return
clients. Cuz here what you're going to
do. How long you do this for? He says
three years. For the next three years,
instead of putting a,000, you're going
to put 1,50.
Says, "Okay, Rabbi, that's what I do. I
have to do." So the next day comes to
the thing. Everybody from now on, 150.
>> 1,50. We only put 1,000. We're
putting,50 in the road. No one has to
know about it. At least we'll pay them
back. 90% of people at least the
majority will pay back a little bit of
money in the sites and I'll be okay.
Yeah. 6 months later a newspaper comes
out. They do a study. Charmin Ultra
Bounty that they start measuring in the
toilet paper and see who really has
1,000 meters. So they come up with a
study all the brand. This one said 1,000
this one has 900. Those are a,000. This
one has 920. Those are a dollar. This
one has 980. And for some reason this
weirdo this Mun case
only one brand out of all the brands
Kulan I don't know who this guy is
says,000,50.
>> So now what happened now? Everybody went
from Charmin to Jewish Charmin that
[laughter]
and he started buying became multi
millionaire.
I don't understand. Yeah. This is how it
works in life. Even though some you
think you're going to lose, if you go at
Hashem's emit, you're only going to
gain.
A person who keeps will never know any
suffering. Everything in life emit. Oh,
I have the ability rabbi. I'm going to
set fame. I'm going to this. All these
words like to use to whitewash their
stealing. No, Rabbi, I'm not stealing.
I'm just upcharging. Not that
they use. It's
not right. You cannot steal a dollar.
It's not yours.
Have to be very, very meticulous. And
always go with the
a person goes with the he'll never lose
was to become have a part after the
father because he was a person who went
after the emit. He listened he did and
he went after the emit. If we take this
m for ourselves to listen to do to act
on what we hear and to be on real people
who do things that are right and what
hashem wants us to do then we'll only be
we'll only go upwards and upward.
