will start to introduce ourself my name is Daniel sharabi I'm 24 years old 7 the Army 3 years ago I finish comat Medic in and my brother proud to say my brother is 22 and the Army he finish two years ago as a combat inar and we're going to start our story presentation little bit of slides and some videos we're going to show you what happened October 7 and what's going on with us after oober 7 the day after and I will start with that that to the party we arrive four people in the car me and shal and another one of my best friend inity right [Music] now and we all pray for them every day and I arve with around 40 other friends that us together in the camping everything was amazing it was beautiful Festival actually it's it's one of the biggest Festival that ever happened in Israel it was second that I him I start to hear the the r scream and someone get shot someone get shot and I understand that something something happening and I was a medic in the army with in the Army school you know how to walk together so we have to do something you start to run we run to the Road 232 and I say the Road 232 is the road all the cars you saw and we to thead my cousin come to the CH and we start to move fast when we to the road my friend came to me come over come over it's a girl a wooden G and I girl and I saw maybe 20 22 years old girl and with bullets two in the back one in the leg R in their leg and getting shot for a second but then we start to act all of us and we start to do whatever I know do start bleeding start to call to M 911 and ask him to bring power on the phone to do something that they can change it and I couldn't do nothing except for do theate and we saw ambulance in the beginning of the road and decide that the best for is to evacuate to the hospital and we start for and start to run at this point was six people and my friend and two other Heroes they no long with us then we start to R and the bullets start to flow above us and we start to run low between the cars stretch trying to and I don't know how to explain people ask why I did it away and what I can tell you is when you see someone in trouble and you know that you can help you can't leave him behind you can't let you can't let people die especially it's not a Jew especially not you are comat or you was a medic and to the ambulance the ambulance was empty and then another guy the security his name is is still also he help us here inside we arrive inside the party the doctor and few Medics and some people that start to help by the way the doctor was and two of the Medics also wasab and we back here over there and decid we moving fast we can do it more so we going to do it and to bring people to the doctor because the mother and everyone so we have to do what we can do and we R back to the road when we R to the road we saw we saw some police getting around and start speaking about from from the side and we decid to ask one of them to come with us with the gun to the botom decid to bring more people and after minutes speaking trying to convince him us us and when the the to us become chaos was I think three pick up big one with machine there and maybe 40 terrorist that jump out and start to shoot on all of us it was like a rench and everyone hiding getting cover we all get cover behind the car and try we trying to go back to the other side he the two guys that car from a car to a car and after maybe five six cars and the RPG hit the car that he was behind we all the carw up on us we I don't remember nothing from this point but what I know that we split SPL and my friend go to the left side of the road and go back and get kid 10 minutes after and and shin going in the paret who put the girls in the F like you saw I help to hide and run away and and for we sing together we have brothers we jumping from car to a car and then after maybe another 10 cars we hear big noise and we start to look and then we saw the the the Way That We R from a tank isra safe and after a second I don't forget this moment stand up against all the bullets and take a video and and then kind away the and you understand basically we done we going to die we all going to die half hour maybe 40 and then we get and then we are looking back K the few first go and then looking back and see van police van that come to us very fast immed all the weapons going we stories because all all his windows broke and he start to scream to us um on the c i a lot of food the people don't shoot put the weapon down and he right to us and I am standing on the left side of the tank and see coming like this this the tank and leave space like I think Ms between the tank to to his car and I'm seeing group of try to do the try to like this and come from the side and shoot on us and if they will succeed they was killing 30 people in second and start to scream then also scream to him and the guy Clos in the tank and S moment he put his his foot on ground we get fpg um to the front on land everyone start to get injured with Shar but we still continue with the batt the cops join me then I start to take over with all the wom that came with the and basically running the whole situation because he fight and he start to speak to the people talk the wound start to um make the people stay conscious and after two three hours B we get another even more hour and this one e that in me I get she I start to feel that f are probably going to be dead in next but we have to start continue to fight so then just took some piece of his his M or someone sh and cl on my w and he Contin to fight and then the to us and his Commander he was on on his phone all the time his Commander he was the with the first one G us after 6 hours and the over live to us and switch us and all until this point I think I seen everything saw T and Over cast with people with terrorist with basically everything and this this this is the point I let my down like this and stop s because this this point I I cut my emotion and then we have get evacuated with some police and follow the way running over the B of course I have to look on the St because I'm stuck the window where 14 people in 6 s and then I start to realize how big is it I've seen people that out now on the floor going to death and seen people with the flame still on the getting because I let I let my my emotion myself to and the walls and we the beginning they want to take us to some gas station then D away getting message in the gas station and actually friend kill them and we get back to the police station and we start to S after our friend all the people and since this moment we after a few hours we get to the hospital and after one day we get get to our home and start to speak and beginning to be honest I lost my f human being I didn't stick with my family I didn't want to stick with anyone that it was with with me sit so I start to P everyone for me my cousin another friend and I start to be on my phone all the day talking about people the video that youc there um my first battle in my St and now my brother will share a little more about all the things that s our activity that honestly this is the the only reason that I'm here can speak and Sh my story and without looking up before we continue to the next part of our life I want to remember my my family my cousin and few friend they die over there cousin fighting left after him two years old daughter and wife and K Jo one of my best friend B in life in the ambulance only three and one go left foro is a hostage that was shot two days before the in the fight with us fight with us know friend with me around the [Music] world one of the medic people she take care of the beginning they K them all and my best friend that now has all of them us other because they couldn't run away other of them because they decid to fight back to more people res was fight with us the last second we shot by RPG and then came kidnapped so this is our after 6 seven hours we fight over there we survive but something not surv us our souls die over there SL thousand of people5 was the no 4,000 survive almost 500 people die over there it's a lot month after we saw my good friend of us s care of our mental health when we was in isand so they flew us to LA and after a week that you get treatment and some stuff you start to talker 7 you start to talk the and then Mon and a after Sude from about young people they do drugs also drinks and in the high place of Happiness they was slot and we care non profit we decide that no longer to stay from the side and let people die not recover we de to do something so when we start to speak we start to sh problem people people that need help easy we create nonprofit with of people around the world that help us to bring awareness what is PSD what is mental health and what is p attack for the first time in my life I I fight over there for a second two weeks after in funeral I I get panic attacks for 25 minutes and I feel like I'm going to die thousand times in half hour and we start to raise money and bring to Israel the money and ask for therapist to do this for people for free people their money people go to work start our people our friends our family every lot of connection to victim is we start to all of these people that was affected by the attack we start to work with EMDR treatment I don't know if you know it's very ime but it's very strong EMDR it's eyes movement stive processive it to the Mind process the trauma and to put it in the right place it's supposed to be and sa life sa my life it say my real life and lot of friends and the second one was the retreat we did Retreat for 700 survivors two times as a JY three days in the South one in huge place with therapist people that to support the people time and now we helping to people to the to back to job to start their life the worst thing is to this kind of to without money the money break everyone and the situation going war and Wars people stting their house cleaning the house not doing nothing and after people that going with us a community getat and feel good feel little bit powerful to go back to to the job provideing these things and right now I'm going to share with you a small video about our activity for for the last year I want to sh with you that me and other other survivors around the world she you want to say something she is good friend of us she survived but she decided to stand up and speak to join to us she was with us months months and a half ago easy we trying to push our community to he from beginning [Applause] and after a year that you walk for mental in Israel to thousand of people and we arve to a point that we need to do something bigger to change to change the the war in Israel of the day after we start War for it's we can say cing if you know for soldiers the PD that want to walk up and stand up again for their life we want to provide this for victim of of the novid this this house going to provide treatment group therapy a gym yoga class and everything that we help to the people to back to Thea and this is what we mind today I think and I want to be what I'm saying but we fight over there we fight every day we doing this speaking around the world bring awareness to oober 7 speaking to thousand of students and help to our friends we need you to help us you have all the fers I'm feeling to do this day and for my guest I'm on October 7 I say that one year later even more and I think that things going to be better people start to get back to work at think about it and exactly the opposite and every week we have seeing another two our friend even more sending by force toal hospital and honestly I cannot see and I was thinking a lot if to come to this s to best to speak because you know day Ander S I want to be with my family my friend but speak with one of them and I seen how deep she is in Crazy dark H so I I st myself no matter what you feel to and on October 7 we stood up when we do something for us for other people so ask you help us to to other people be partner with our CA and come to Israel volunteer with us be a part of our only Mission and also give us the power and and and things to continue because honestly this is the only thing that keep me and my brother um get the strength to move on so you have everything also in we appreciate
