I was just informed literally on my way here that a friend of mine from school just passed away. It's really scary when you don't have a good influence around you. You can fall down the wrong path and fall victim to the worst kinds of things you can even want to imagine. >> We think what's the big deal? Let our kids go to public school. But we really don't know what goes on. It's a 8 hour day. You can't help to think of all the fights the other 4,000 kids in the school that think it's cool to fight. People would get hurt very badly. And that really put things into perspective like what are we doing? I I was not keeping Shabbat. None of my friends were keeping Shabbat. I never associated Shabas with a good time because why would I have a good time if I'm putting my phone away? But after my friends and I came to the Shabaton, we all made like this, I guess, collective decision. Let's keep shabas. I sometimes go to Jwave Kazak and when I first went and I saw Moh, he was so loving. He's not doing it for himself. He's doing it cuz he loves you and he wants you to have a better life. Moh started crying. He's crying about the fact that we're in public school. Kids that he's never met before, he's never been with before, he's never seen before, the the love he has for for another person. You can't get that if you don't have the Torah. When you educate Jewish kids, they will in turn educate their Jewish kids. And it's a cycle that continues from generations that lead on and on and on. And that's what's important for us. >> This is one of the facilities my kids go to for art, karate, arts and crafts, and they also go to the Sunday program shaping lives. >> So, it's not just about teaching dance or chess or karate. It's more about spirituality. We really get to bring these children into a kosher Jewish environment and show them what it is to be Jewish. You could still have fun and be spiritual. >> We're going to come and teach a Jewish soul, a Jewish nama, a Jewish child who does not know alphabet and who wants to learn. And that's what motivates us to come and teach them more and more. >> Each child has a potential. So I want to help the child like figure out their potential and see that cuz it's really amazing. Jewish education is so important. It's so important. It's number one. Whether it's through Hebrew day school, even if your kid goes to public school, put them in Hebrew school, put them in Sunday school so that they learn a little bit about it. >> It gives you so much so much for the future for life, the values, the morals. It's a whole package. >> Learning how to read Hebrew, learning all the holidays, learning all the mitzvot, everything. It's a package deal. You'll never get that in a public school. I'm learning from my second grader now. All these extra details that I didn't know because I didn't get that yeshiva education. Kazak, they do so much for the community. No matter what you are, you could be ashken, you could be sphartic, you could be anything in between as a Jew, they will do anything to help you. I just love like the warm atmosphere. They make everybody feel so special there, which I think is so important. They make everybody feel like a somebody. I love the work that Kazak does. the advocacy, the youth programs, the public school programming that they do. I think it's really special and we need to see more of it. >> It comes from the heart. They really try to show their love, you know, really trying to make an impact on kids that don't necessarily have this chance to go to yeshiva and get the necessary education. I've been with Khaz for a very long time, like about 5 years now, and I definitely grew a lot. I learned a lot about the para from tor recently a couple months ago I started wearing t five months now every day wearing t but I would say it all started back honestly every single day is the best memory every single day being with these rabbi is probably my best memory cuz they're always happy they're always they're always giving you a smile always there for you what else I want to be I'm chilling I'm happy I'm with I'm with the I'm with the most positive energy once I started I I saw the benefits of being in yeshiva I I just want to grow to be the best me that I could be. I want to fulfill my potential. >> It's our job to bring back all these nishot that are lost throughout, you know, the diaspora. There's that saying that every soul, every life you save is like you saved a thousand lives. So, I think, you know, we're really pushing the mission of that exactly, which is that we're saving all these Jewish souls so that, you know, hopefully they could become closer to Hashem and they could build Jewish families and then we continue that legacy. So I think it's really important. >> I'm only one story that Kazak has transformed and there are thousands more just like me. I think Kazak is so necessary. It's such a transformative experience and I I know it's changed my life for the better and I know I'm not the only one. I wasn't the first and definitely won't be the last. Kazak has to stay around.
