close your eyes think a little bit about what you want to be what do you want to become it seems to me that there are two things that prevent people from being and living the way they truly dream to one is a lack of confidence a lack of believability in themselves and their abilities to get from point a to point b and that we could talk about another time but there's a second thing that holds people back and that is they don't believe that the world around them could really support their dreams that they can't really be who they are and what they dream to be because of so many other factors that exist around them the hanukkah lights teach us that that's not true at the end of the day the miracle of hanukkah only came about because the hashmonaim dreamed not for themselves but that they should be a part of god's dream [Music] and when they dreamed to be a part of god's dream and restore the shrina in the vasamigdas so then what happened was something that was miraculous they could have taken oil that was defiled they could have thinned out the wicks and the menorah would have kept on burning but the miracle of chanukah wouldn't happen they dreamed they dreamed of a world that was better they dreamed of a life of theirs that was better and they set their mind to it and when you set your mind to it the miracles happen the basal level in the hindus write that it was specifically because the kohanim in those days did not let go of their ideals that the miracles happen don't let go of your ideals don't let go of your dreams and then the miracles happen as i heard someone described so beautifully 30 years ago in the upper west side of manhattan after i mentioned this idea of the bay salad in the fiduciary if you compromise the miracles don't happen don't compromise on your dreams and the miracles just like the miracles [Music]
