so here we are going into Kaneka and uh tonight's the first night I think all of us are feeling a special energy in the air compared to other years um why it is that this year feels different I believe is because there's this positivity in the air I don't think it's just the fact that Trump was was a reelected I think that um if you're Jewish you know and now we've got this like entire new Middle East happening but all of this to me started sukus time I don't know if raise your hand if you were here suus time anyone was here suus time did you notice that like there was an energy in the air that was like crazy like I've been here that was my 33rd sucus here and I've never felt the energy like that before and I kept getting clips of like all kinds of situations whether there were hidic situations or there were the nitty like there was a nitty keepa situation like the but there were like thousands of them and they were dancing their hearts out with Lula vs like Mish with their Lula vanesta dancing and dancing and dancing and dancing I had have this clip it you could feel like something's happening and then I get a clip showing people on the Temple Mount like face down hands forward feet out like flat on their faces on the Temple Mount I mean Jews were there were police just to watch Jews lips to make sure they don't pray and if they prayed they would get arrested but during sukus people are going up in the Temple Mount hopefully in permitted places because some areas are permitted and they were flat flat out one after the other after the other like no one was stopping them and it it feels like even the state of Israel you know which has been no friend to Judaism in many ways I mean obviously friendly in other ways but even the state of Israel seems to be getting a getting like Jerusalem fever you know they're getting like Jerusalem syndrome a little bit and I anyway I think some exciting in the air and Hanukah is the ultimate excitement and that's what we're going to focus on um today what we're going to work on is very not politically correct so I hope uh anyone watching this understands I'm not here to offend anybody and you know I I came to heal not to harm and to love and not to hate and to make peace and not war you know that's what I'm here for however however there is something that all of of us need to make get real clear and it's and uh and you'll just notice that even the people in this room would you ever consider yourself a religious person you the way Gentiles consider someone religious like you're a religious man oh Israel meaning you can't leave here anymore therefore all of us who do get on planes to go which includes me I'm out out of the country every a couple weeks BR I get to be here for two months which approval high standards of your meaning your own approval your own personal Behavior obviously for your spouse you're in charge of that as well and your children so a high standard of approval um also if you're in a community like in someone's like messing up the community by by introducing standards that are not what everyone moved there for you you have to stand up and say something you cannot sit down and watch your property value just tank because you're afraid to stand up for your community you must stand up and um and it's not just property value meaning the whole value system is getting lost it's just that you'll see what happens to the property value a little later I just try to scare people more about their own pocketbook because it's gonna it will be affecting your property value if you don't stand up when someone's taking your community down and the uh high standards of approval but your acceptance level like accepting an actual human being for who they are not what they do because approval is based on Behavior it's what they do whereas acceptance is who they are you understand I don't know what you do during the week I have no idea what any of you do but I know for sure if I were you I'd probably be doing the same thing so I 100% accept you I'm glad I'm me I'm me and I do something else but if I were you I'd be doing that so I realize that you're the doing is some expression of some being and if the doings off probably the being's off give you an example if someone believes that they're the holiest person in the world what's his doing going to probably abuses other things as well um a guy who thinks he's a piece of garbage probably let's say tries to keep shabas but he's probably when push comes to shove maybe he breaks it you know you understand like his doings going to be reflective so if I see someone who's off in some way of in his doing I mean he's not holding very high standards so I know immediately that it's because there's some loss of being in there there's some negative being there because no one would do that unless they of course didn't see themselves ESP special as holy as as a gift from God as as um as worthy of love as worthy of of care and trust and all the beautiful things of life if if he's busy doing that kind of stuff chances are the beings a little off well if the being's off meaning if he sees himself as a piece of garbage well what's going to be my relationship to someone who feels like a piece of garbage the answer is compassion to be feel deep compassion for him my likely move with my arm is not going to be to punch him in the nose it's going to be put my arm around him and see how I can fan the Flames of his being and you'll notice if you fan the Flames of the being of a person they're doing starts to shape up pretty quickly because if the if you if the Flames of the Beauty inside of every person which is your Nisha if you fan the flame of the Nisha in a person they're doing just like shapes up you don't even have to bring it up you don't have to mention doing you all you have to do is fan the Flames of the being what's that of the being well love is usually the best like real way when I say love I shouldn't use the word bomb um imagine a guy walks in here all strung out you know which happens sometimes in this place you see a guy coming in all strung out he looks like he's doesn't even have pigment in his skin cuz his Skin's all white cuz he's probably been on video games and who knows what else and and uh God knows where that guy's been but they come in here all strung out like that and then you come along to love bom what's he going to do he's going to run so obviously when I say love bmam you have to channel it in a way that's something he can he just at this point he could probably handle about a trickle like a maybe a Shalom there was a guy in the mikah today he was just sitting there like this and the changer got dressed and it was just you see that guy anyway so I'm getting dressed and I'm thinking I could just leave this guy alone or I could ask if are you okay and I chose are you okay those were my words he looked up and had absolutely no clear recognition on his face that I had even said anything but I very clearly said are you okay to him and he was I could see he was english- speaking from his the shape of his facial muscles so anyway he didn't say anything he was shaking too yeah anyway um so little something are you okay so eye contact but what happens is if they see you're very careful with them very careful and the only thing they're allowing in is like what's that little hole right there and you're like and you're really careful with the Contours of that hole you'll see the next time you talk to them it's more like that there go if you just if they see you're honoring that they'll open to that when they see that's being honored too they just that next oh you're giving a hug and then what happens is there's a lot of trust there so now that now there's trust once there's trust they can start opening up now I promise you if you the guy opens up and you start talking to him he's going to tell you some story about how he was drop kicked by somebody someone just probably his father maybe it was his mother maybe it was a teacher maybe it was a kid but at some point in life he was just like and and I don't mean literally abused but something happened because I've met people who were raised in nature homeschooled in the forest not with Judaism although the one I met his mother was Jewish I've met people really nice nice what's his first name forgot do do his grandson cool cool anyway I met this kid and this kid was like so beautiful he was so beautiful he was learning Judaism for his first time here in Jerusalem such a beautiful guy and and you know when I know something though he made everyone uncomfortable because he didn't know you're supposed to look away when you talk to somebody you understand like he didn't know about this that you kind of give people a little space and take your own I don't know if you guys know this but you look away when let's say you're talking like face to face someone notice that you'll both look away you'll turn your head sometimes and look back you'll take your eyes away and look back because the the eyes are projecting they they're intimacy projectors intim projectors which all the more reason to keep your eyes down you know when when it's not appropriate to be going for eye contact with certain genders and because your your eyes are intimacy projectors and anyway but he cuz he grew up in the forest he didn't know you have to look away he just I had to explain to him like like I'm cool with it but you're freaking everyone else out you know like like people are not like they people are wondering what's your agenda you know like look away a little bit so he actually learned a little bit how to do it so people weren't uncomfortable with him he did my seminar he did the Poss seminar and we're talking 20 years back the he oh he because he was raised so pure when he learned Judaism he was at asur he became like a your life that you should probably call them take responsibility for it that's all and what I mean by that you guys are thinking like harm someone like stole from them or like you know like us you punched them out or ripped them off or or embarrassed them or something not what I'm discussing at all what I'm talking about is is that your father mother reaching out to you in the way they reach out and you didn't let them my D yeah like you didn't let them Reach Out or your older sibling who was so good at everything he ever did you know everything he touched turned to gold or a younger sibling even worse and you just felt like nothing whenever you're with him so ever since you felt that way you've been avoiding him so there's a point where I suggest you don't have to do it but I suggest in the seminar that you that you um give him a call say hey bro you know it was the craziest thing that I was too young to realize I did this but you know when I was six I was like wait till I'm eight I'm going to show him but the problem is when I was eight you were 10 I was like wait till I'm 10 I was 10 then you're were 12 like wait till I'm 12 then you're were a bucker you're 14 like I could never catch up so at a certain point probably when I was around 11 12 I just shut my heart to you and you notice that I we have I haven't said more than one word answers to anything you've ever asked me since we were you know you know now they're in their 30s you know since we were kids I just haven't let you in my life at all and it just became a pattern and I never knew how to break out of it and I'm sorry I'm sorry and I love you and the brother's like wow and I've had many stories with the older brother who this kid thought he didn't need him you know and meaning he thought his older brother didn't need him the first time that I got someone to do this was you know going back a lot of years over 20 years the older brother burst out sobbing and he couldn't stop saying I didn't know what happened I didn't know what I said I didn't know what I did I didn't all I knew was my little my sweetest little brother that I waited so long for because it was all sisters and then he had a brother like this older brother had a bunch of sisters and then he had a little brother and that little brother was his life it was his life and then when his brother turned around 10 years old he just shut out the light he just turned off the relationship not trying to he just couldn't feel like a he was becoming a a man while having such a man in his life anyway the older brother just burst out sobbing anyway those kind of calls so guess what the one guy in the seminar who didn't make any of his calls one guy the seminer didn't do it was him was this guy his name's yier yair was the only one who didn't do anything and and I was shocked because he was like the best student in the room I was like why didn't you do it so he was like I'm GNA do it don't worry okay so he comes up to me and Yeshiva where you know an a he comes up to me he says I bought a ticket I said oh yeah where you going he says he says I'm going to about six different States including Hawaii and the reason I didn't do the talks in the seminar is because I'm going now to do them in person with all the people I have ever known meaning because his his parents got divorced so as his father was in Hawaii and his and then he had there was a stepmom that was over in Texas and then this one was in California Northern California in the forest where he grew up and he actually went and did in prison a was ready to kill me the guy disappeared for like 3 months it was planned that he was going to take full responsibility for the way he had decided he was going to survive his life as a kid with all these people in this family that break keeps seeming to split like an adom you know he was going to survive that by you know making some moves which were probably Independence and stuff which BR brought him to age probably and found and but he did all these conversations in person why are we why are we even discussing this I have no idea why are we talking about conversation in person oh eye contact let's bring it back and then we'll finish this session I contact uh intimacy see openings up someone's once it's open then you then they will open about a story of what they went through at which point you can say hey can we separate the story sorry can we separate what you went through from the story you made it mean about you that's a deep thing I'm saying I don't know if you'll be able to can we separate the circumstances can we separate what happen happened from the story you let it mean about you our interpretation our interpretation but it interpret but it's a an interpretation about me you understand if I get embarrassed in class because I forgot to zip my zipper and now I'm back in class you know fifth grade or something you know 11 years old and and of course someone in the class goes XYZ you know and I'm just like don't you know the circumstances was I forgot to unzip I forgot to zip my zipper but the story about me might have been loser you get that and then it's been the rest of my life trying to make sure no one ever sees me as a loser and meanwhile I'm ignoring my wife ignoring my kids why so I can keep up the payments on my Range Rover by being a total workaholic and now I'm 58 years old and I'll tell you if anyone's got their zipper down it's that guy what I mean by that is that is that he he never left the classroom he's still playing the same story from some stupid forgetting of a zipper one time with one idiot in the classroom who was just making fun which is what he did because what happened to him is he now makes fun you understand it's it's just stories bumping into stories bumping into stories these are just stories that people tell based on circumstances so if you so let's go back if you give him some love right little love he starts to trust because he sees you you honor his you honor his vessel how much he can receive starts to open it when he gets it open he starts to share once he starts to share starts to tell you some difficult stories once he tell those difficult stories you can now introduce well maybe maybe we ought to separate the circumstance from the story you let it mean about you and next thing you know his being starts to spark it starts to ignite there's a haneka candle there's a flame and there's a little flame there and and then others starting to Flame and there's a bit of a coal and you can start FL Fanning in the Flames till the blame gets bigger and bigger next thing you know he's AIC meaning his doing is reflecting the being because doing always reflects being garbage being like you know I'm I'm a loser is exhausting doing like trying to make the payments on my Range Rover while ignoring my most important people but empowered being which comes from the Nisha that's inside all of us that you fan the flame of a person Thea if that's the being well it leads to inspired doing now your doing is inspired and you want to know something if you have empowered being that leads to inspired doing guess what you will never ever be tired you mean physically tired you could be but you will you will never feel depleted exhausted again meaning every time anyone ever sees you they'll see you're just m much like the most motivated person in the world because being leads to doing and if the being's Eternal which is your being your being is eternal if you're connected to the Eternal being and you're able to negate all the stupid stories you've made about yourself over the years but you like you just live from being and fan that flame well then all you're doing is just coming from the infinite source of motivation which is the the being and being leads to doing well if your being's empowered your doing is going to be on fire right if you're on fire the doings on fire and that's why you'll notice some people never Tire just go ahead
