When a person thinks about his brother or his sister more than he thinks about himself says to him, "Now you are emulating me. Now you have done chuva. Now you are no longer the person that deserved the punishment that I gave to him a week or two months or 6 months ago." Why? Cuz you're a different person. And that different person that does not deserve the problem. And therefore, in the process of solving the problem for your friend that you're crying, first I got to take care of something else. You cried about somebody else because you genuinely care about them more than you care about yourself. Therefore, you're not the same person that got the problem in the first place. The person that I gave him the problem was a selfish person. The person that I gave him the problem was an egotistical person. The person that had the problem was not a person. That is you. And therefore, I have to remove the problem. And therefore, the sages say in the if you want your problem solved, go start helping other people. Go start caring about other people.
