Thank you. Thank you very much. Good
evening.
Good evening and welcome. Boy, what a
pleasure
be able to get into your car
and drive about four minutes to the
show.
No airplanes, no waiting in lines for
luggage.
I must tell you that
during the past 10 years, by the way, do
you like this tie any better than the
one on the poster?
I thought you might.
Anyhow,
during the past 10 years,
I've spent a lot of time on on airplanes
and in airports.
many interesting occurrences
during those 10 years. For instance,
first that comes to mind was a sukas
concert. I was invited to Milwaukee to
the out there. He had a beautiful
tremendous suka
and 500 people comfortably seated
inside.
They were served a delicious meal
and um
I was singing there. There's one
problem. You see, it was only 3° below
zero, which made it a little bit little
bit chilly. Then, of course, there's the
famous one. You might have heard about
my experience.
What's happening to the lights over
here? Everything under control? Oh, here
we go.
Anything right up there? Anyhow,
then there was this experience in
Minnesota
where it seems that the organizer didn't
realize that the Minnesota Twins were
playing in the World Series that night.
So, 14 people showed up.
Luckily, I have a brother who lives in
Minnesota and he came with his 12 kids
and that that did the trick.
Anyhow, my friends, we are in a year of
miracles. For me professionally, a
miracle, a long
dream of mine came true this year. I was
invited to come sing in the Soviet Union
and um many interesting things happened
there. One little story I'll share with
you.
As we were leaving the Soviet Union, we
were dropped off at the airport. My wife
and I were heading into the terminal.
this couple that had taken us to the
airport with their two little children
were about to pull away from the curb
when I hear my name being called and I
turn around and this little 5-year-old
boy wearing this big Russian fur hat
he's rolling down the window and he
sticks his head out and on the top of
his lungs he yells
we want Mashiach now
little 5-year-old boy,
a little 5-year-old boy in Ruslan. What
does he want? What does he ask for? One
request he has
mashiach now.
And I think that
all of us whether we express it, whether
we shout it or believing it in our heart
says
every to lead thirsts and longs for
Mashiach for Glokite and for holiness.
One, two, three. One, two,

There's a picture that my memory fondly
frames
and in it burns
to tiny
flames.
My mother's
shest
candles
which made our home so bright,
which faithfully
she lighted
with a prayer on Friday night.
And then around the table,
we gatherred
and we heard.
My father chant the kush.
Wait for your queue. His heart in every
word.
Our humble home became a mansion in that
mystic glow.
Our hearts were filled with hopes and
dreams and thoughts of long ago.
And yet
the tragic stories
of Israel's
darkest nights
will never dim. The glory
of my mother's

lights.

Thank you very much. Thank you. I'll see
you a little bit later. Thank you for my
stand.
Thank you.
Now tell me,
do you understand why this young man's
talent is in demand all over the world?
You heard him tell you he just got back
from the Soviet Union.
Are you aware that Mbavic has kabad in
Moscow?
You can be so proud of yourself.
I don't know what impresses me more
about you, that you've got Tabad in
Moscow or that you have Tabad in
Charlotte, North Carolina, the state
where I grew up.
We are now going to have a change of
pace,
but not a change of passion.
We have been graced and blessed with one
of the most welcome voices in the world.
By an odd coincidence,
in the classroom where Abraham studied,
there was another voice destined to be
great. And we're going to hear that
voice now. It too reverberates around
the world. I asked him where else he
performed. And after five trips to
Brazil, Italy, London, countless trips
to Israel, Japan, I said enough already.
I get the point. His voice and his fame
is global. He is the caner at the
Riverdale Jewish Center. Accompanying
him will be a man that has the unique
qualifications to accompany a man like
the one I'm talking about, who you may
have guessed by now is none other than
Caner Schnoyer Zman Bongar.
And you don't
and you don't just snap a finger and
say, "Let's see who can I get to
accompany me." If you have a voice like
Schneider Almond Bogart, you wait and
you select and you hope and you arrange
and finally you succeed and you get the
great and fabled Ellie Lipman.
