RARE 1953 RECORDING | Cantor Moshe Koussevitzky – Pre–High Holiday Concert | Paterson, NJ

**A rare historic recording from 1953 featuring the legendary Cantor Moshe Koussevitzky in a special pre–High Holiday concert in Paterson, New Jersey.** Recorded during the golden era of American chazzanut, this remarkable performance captures Koussevitzky at the height of his powers, bringing the melodies and prayers of **Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur** to life with his extraordinary voice, brilliant upper register, and deeply expressive interpretation. Moshe Koussevitzky (1899–1966), the celebrated former cantor of Warsaw’s Tłomackie Synagogue and later Temple Beth-El in Brooklyn, was one of the towering figures of 20th-century cantorial music. This recording offers us a rare opportunity to hear the atmosphere of a High Holiday cantorial concert more than seventy years ago. **Cantor Moshe Koussevitzky** **Pre–High Holiday Concert** **Paterson, New Jersey** **1953** Preserved and presented for lovers of **Chazzanut, Jewish liturgical music, and the great cantorial voices of the past.** חזן משה קוסביצקי | חזנות לימים הנוראים | ראש השנה ויום הכיפורים | 1953 #MosheKoussevitzky #Chazzanut #CantorialMusic #HighHolidays #RoshHashanah #YomKippur #JewishMusic #RareRecording #חזנות #משהקוסביצקי
