there is a gentleman named Kenneth
Cole anyone heard of Kenneth Cole I
don't know if he's a gentleman but
there's a guy named Kenneth Cole and he
has a shoe
company and when he started his shoe
company he wanted to go to the shoe Expo
and basically rent a room like everybody
else rent a booth and sell shoes to all
the different companies his problem was
was that he couldn't afford a room in
the in the Hilton in Manhattan where the
Expo was so he decided no problem he's
going to rent the truck he's going to
get a truck from one of his friends and
then he's going to park the truck
outside the Expo and so she was from the
truck great idea
right so he goes to that he goes to the
friend he says can you give me one of
your trucks for a day the guy says sure
what do you need it for he says well I
want to park it outside the shoe Expo so
that I can sell shoes from the truck the
guy says I can't give you one of my
trucks to park there because it's
illegal to park a truck in
mam so he goes to the county clerk and
he say said listen he goes is there any
way for me to get a permit to park a
truck in the M Manhattan they said
no the only way to get a permit to park
a truck in mid time if he's shooting a
movie so he went back home and he made
stationary that's called Kenneth CT
Productions and he filed with the city
clerk the next day that he's filming a
movie called the birthing of a shoe
company and therefore he got permission
to park it outside the shoe Expo because
that's the backdrop he needed for his
movie and they not only gave him a
permit but they also gave him two of New
York's finest to stand outside and keep
order and that's how he got a truck
outside the Expo and then when a movie
is being shot what happens is people
what's going on here movie is being
shots of course they want to be in the
movie and they can go brag they were in
a movie so everybody went into the truck
to make sure to' be in the movie and
that's how he sold shoes that's how he
got started but anyway the bottom line
of that story is is that what seems like
a roadblock what seems that can't be
done can sometimes be done just a little
creative thinking
