Not everyone is ready to go into a
breath work session. We can start
looking at it without fear
>> because our fear response is not there
>> right
>> and we can face it and say oh so that's
what happened right now protective
systems come down
>> we can start experiencing the depth of
that pain and that motion and once we
clear that
>> we get clarity and then we can start we
move through it in a very deep and
meaningful way
>> and that's more the psychedelic property
of it. So we we start by getting people
into their breath first.
>> First I want you in your body.
>> Mhm.
>> But once you're in your body
>> once I can see that you can tolerate
yourself
>> then I will take you into a breath work
session.
>> Beautiful.
>> Because then we can go deeper.
>> Right.
>> Right. And a lot of people miss that
step.
>> Yes.
>> They're going to take people straight
into breath work
>> and they ram their system. And this is
why we have so much, you know, you know,
breath work is such a beautiful thing,
but we hear so many negative negative
feedback from it. So much negative
feedback because
>> people go before they're ready. Not
everyone is ready to go into breath work
session.
>> And this is something I stress so much
in this clinical breath work training,
right? Of you need to check in with your
client first. You don't just go right in
dependent. We need to first get the
person embodied, present, safe,
>> right? And we do that a lot through the
breath and through every other modality
that we do. And then when the client is
ready to go deeper, we can dive deep in.
>> And that's that that produces a result
of healing of of inner peace that
sometimes gets, you know,
>> that's what we do as therapists. So we
we start with connecting the person,
right? It's like there's like a science
behind it. We get the person deeper into
their breath. We do the breath work and
then our job is to bring them back to
their breath
>> in session.
>> Like let's talk about what you
experienced in the breath work. This is
where the integration comes in. This is
where the processing comes in. And let's
bring what you learned about yourself
>> and the healing and the transformation
and the awarenesses into your current
life.
>> Beautiful.
>> Otherwise, it's just information,
>> right? What's the point? Right.
