BP Graphics Celebrating Paper-Cutting Ceremony

[Music] one I'm ready okay on a count to three okay is ready one two three a call [Applause] now although although at a regular ribbon cutting ceremony it's usually customary to use a ribbon and the ribbon is what's known as move it along and we cut it over here we did a paper cutting ceremony never mind I got one VP Graphics as we all know is Cutting Edge technology and aside from just using scissors in this joint when they actually go ahead and do books and make books there's actually Machinery technology to enable book cutting and paper cutting without further Ado we'd like to ask for Senator singer to be accompanied over to the book binding machine the book cutting machine cut to do the okay before we get to the book cutting machine we like to ask call upon Senator singer to present his Proclamation to the all new BP Graphics at this grand reopening ceremony mayor Deputy Mayor committee first of all I have a joint Senate assembly resolution I want to present to uh to Benny for the reopening but I just want to say one thing uh BP Graphics has made a major commitment to downtown All Through The Years uh and in tough times when there weren't a lot of business in downtown he was here and certainly as the rebirth in the Rejuvenation of downtown uh he has committed himself and as you see uh the new entrance the expansion of the of of the building what a positive thing for the economy of the town I want to thank Benny for being committed to the township staying it you know there's a lot of concern Benny had about the parking even I like that uh he said he wants to be part of the downtown renewal uh he stayed through it reopening it's figuring better than ever so Benny thank you and thank your company for doing a great job of being part of Labor without further Ado we'd also like to call upon the all new mayor acrian 2013's mayor of Lakewood first official public appearance presenting a plaque my seconda actually the one last night first plaque no the first plaque oh no actually thir my first plaque was actually to Mayor Miller keep Proclamation keep a proclamation for being mayor for two years and doing a great job and I'd like to present this clack to business that was here before I came to town and that helped me find my first Department helped me find a lot of other things and I think a very a very high class business that we're all very proud of thank you very [Applause] much last but not least it is my honor my privilege to introduce the proprietor the owner the founder of VP Graphics Mr H thank you very much good morning thank you all for coming out uh this is actually my first uh paper cutting ceremony probably yours also um I didn't know what the procedes were but everybody clued me in and told me don't make any long speeches so with that in mind um I just want to take a quick moment to thank everybody for coming especially so early in the morning um I hope you enjoyed some breakfast those who didn't get to eat there's still food and there'll be a lot of foods on your way out pleas grab some um I want to specifically thank my staff um headed by Mr namami Miller and and all the others that have been with us uh through this um painting and re redesigning and uh and help help us uh make this uh transition moving into to The Next Century and and coming up with something that's really nice and good for the customers makes it easy for everybody um they really been there for me and been there for the customers and that's really our number one uh Focus has been for the customers in fact every month we sit down and we discuss what can we do to make it better for our customers in my mind it's not about printing it's about customer service unfortunately that's not found too many places I don't have much competition but we try very hard and those of you have been here know that um we try to exceed customer expectations on a daily basis um I still remember as the senator said before I remember in June of 1990 I went over to Mr Mars silver down on clion Avenue and uh asked him if I can rent one of his stores I thought maybe I would do some printing I wasn't quite sure how it would work out and I said one stipulation I said listen if this doesn't work you allow me to get out of sleep in 6 months and he said yes well thank God and a lot to thank God for um but we never turned around we never look back and we've been here I got to thank the township and all the people that been there the senator who's been there for us and all the township committee people and all of you really for making this Lakewood such a beautiful town and so easy for businesses to grow and and um nourish so it's it's really um thank you all and uh we thank God and and this is really really beautiful thank you for coming before just to continue the ceremony and to finish the ceremony um I'd like to call upon um Mary lonstein and Ray koh's if they can come with me um to make this a real you know it was a question of doing a ribbon cutting ceremony and um those who know us we do things a little bit different we like to be a little out of the box we like to take you to the next level and do something different so we thought a paper cutting ceremony is really more refitting than the ribbon cutting ceremony and really says what we are so I'd like to take you two if you don't mind up to my Guillotine is right over there and uh very carefully we are going to cut this and then we're going to do something it will take 3 minutes and we'll be done unwrap the re of paper wa for the stand yeah let me get okay we have to be very careful with this machine there's two buttons over here each one of you is going to press it don't stick anything else in one press it together otherwise just pull it down until it goes all the way and then we going to go right one second one three [Applause] W in fact I'm going to ask the chief Robson if you can help us out and perhaps mikeam you think you can do it come help us out to make the first book we're going to make personalized books for everybody over here while you wait and uh something that you can go come with and you'll enjoy stick it into the machine press and uh Mike grab a cover gra a cover [Music] there you going to hold this over here like that the book's going to come across stand for a second and going back just grab the book from
