seal Network Feature Presentation of the 2016 2017 Metropolitan Yeshiva Junior High Hockey League Championship presented by Mana shevitz today's game features the stars of noral Hebrew Academy and the half Hawks we are live coming to you from Lawrence Middle School on Long Island where today one game will be played to determine the king of the junior high Hockey World for the two teams involved in today's game championship games are a rare occurrence both teams have made one appearance prior to today for half that was 2012 where it won the championship defeating ashar in double overtime for noro it was the year prior where it fell to how for one of these two teams the weight will have been worth it hello everyone I'm Elliot wisel ber head coach of the myj hhl ycq Wildcat joining me for the game is head coach abidon Burman also head coach of the ycq Wildcats and fellow fellow analysts of the Junior High School league Abby Don let's begin Today's Show so Elliot for all those who aren't you know connected with the League what what is this league all about well the myj hhl is the New York Junior High League there are 10 teams comprised of schools in the Brooklyn Long Island and queens areas not to be associated with heish the Jersey Junior High League now Avon PM just passed and pesak is on the horizon as our sponsor manevitz might bring you memories so let's start off with a simple question man has season has M has Seasons what is the difference between this season and all the other seasons for the nyj hhl well this was a season where there wasn't one team that coming in that you knew was going to dominate the whole league right you came in there nobody really knew who how was going to shake out and then in the end ends up being team that aren't necessarily always in the championship usually we have Hal harur Hank those are you know the most common championship guys and now we have teams that haven't really been here you have norshore and halter So speaking of norshore and halter let's talk about the two teams participating in today's contest and we'll start off with the regular season Champions the norshore Stars last year norshore went into the final game of the season needing a win to clinch a playoff birth went into the third period against Hank up before a disastrous period dropped them to a 4 five on1 record finishing on the outside looking in what strides has this team taken to erase that nightmare well norshore is a mainly eighth grade team right so they coming in they have a lot of experience they have you know again a and a lot of and they have a lot of size now they they they've been top three they were top three in the League this year in scoring they've been I believe the top team in the league in defense and and and uh what's and they've really flown through the schedule they played every single playoff team they have played away from home and they and they have gone out and won and have and they've on they're on the road to making a perfect season here so who have been the key players to nors rise to dominance this year nor R to dominance has been you know started with their Captain Charles Gres he's been on this team since fifth grade and he has been and he's been SC and he scored at least 20 goals in the LA in each of the last three years um you know the second person to pay attention the uh uh Charles G's number is number 79 uh you know the second guy you got to pay attention to is Charles gr's linemate the titler to his Jamie Ben number 18 Adam Goldman he uh you know he is a 20 he's a 20 goal scorer and uh he's a uh he's scor he scored 20 goals this year he has really held his own he's fast he has a great shot and he really knows how to control the pace of the game so now let's look on the other side of the line we have the half Hawks fans of the MHS Varsity League will be familiar with the name as the older boys have stood out on this stage for the last three years today however this is the lone half team last year a semi-finalist in the game against Hal tied going into the third period a fluke goal the difference in a one- nothing defeat this year Revenge with the Hawks beating Hal in the semis 3 to1 What's led them to this point well half coming in had has had a lot less experience well they have a lot of eighth graders a lot not not as many of these guys were really involved in their team last year but coming in the players who actually were involved last year have been real the real leaders you have Captain uh uh Ben Newark um who you know he starting he's their starting defenseman the captain voted to the All-Star team um he he's extremely quick he has a great he's great shot he let the team in scoring with 19 goals this year and he he actually had a very very you know nice game against Hal in the semis where he came you know he came out and he uh and he uh and he was able and he was able to really just take over the game defensively and try surprising given that he's a defenseman using making use of what he's got from the back line we have two of them like that in both gous and Newar yeah in their in their 3-1 game he actually had two of their goals that's really impressive so who else has been a key contributor for them uh you know the other Captain uh Zach uh Zack Gman he uh he only scored eight goals this year which you know it's it's a good number right around a goal a game and but his his big contribution came with his intelligence and his aggressiveness he's able to come in and he's never he never fears the moment you know he come and he's able actually to set up his linemate sixth grader Joey Cohen number 67 ver for 18 goals this year you know his line so that line is you know very dominant and it comes a lot you know it comes a lot from his ability to really control the game with his intelligence and aggressiveness so gelman's been more of the setup man for Cohen's finishes along the game absolutely but you can't again you can't count him out he he's he averages about a goal game good to know we'll take a short break right now when we come back we'll break down this morning's matchup we'll have pregame introductions and Network presented by manevitz Elliot wisberg and ABI Don Burman taking you through to the pregame for today introductions will begin in about 5 minutes so all that happens let's talk about the matchup that we'll see today the teams are both in their locker rooms after having warmup last time these two teams played Northshore scored the first two goals of the game in the first period before Hal came back scored two of their own to tie the game game at 22 at the end of one norshore scored two goals to start the second period and the teams would trade off from there and a stunning effort by northshores Charles GES when you mentioned earlier four goals on the day leading to a 64 Northshore Victory allowing them to take momentum into uh their last game the last games in the season and into the playoffs now I don't remember if we mentioned how they teams it in the playoffs in you mentioned how norshore getting a Buy in the first round steamrolled through Magan David 8 to1 after obviously taking the top seed from as you said scoring the most goals in the League this year and having what and having one of the best defenses in the league that being in case let's talk about those two parts of it let's start out with the goalie match let's talk about this what is an apparent disparity obviously the goalies are not here but let's talk about what what everyone will see when the game starts well for nor sure you have you have Mark Sean right he's a big goalie and honestly just going into this match up real quick I would compare it almost to you know the Los Angeles Kings goal tending M goal tending situation where they have Ben Bishop and Jonathan Quick Mark zman's like you know more of the Ben Bishop he's big he could take away the angle with his size and really and cover a lot more than net us using his size or while he's also athletic you know just take being able to get in front of the shots on you know for hater you have Jordan crup he's you know sixth grader small but extremely quick and he takes and he can get across the cre very quickly he he he knows how to cover shots and it gets gets on rebound real quick he's he's real good goalie also so Sean seagan uses his size to get in front of shots and to and to keep the ball from the neet whereas crup has to rely on his uh his uh agility and ability yeah absolutely okay so let's talk about the keys to today's game also and in that we can discuss a bit about the court in front of us for those who have never been to Lawrence Middle School let's talk about the effect the court sort of has on this game okay so it the court the way the court is shaped is you have two large brick walls in the back and then two smaller walls on you know for the sides as norshore comes out to the court yeah so you know both teams are going to be looking to take a lot of shots that's that's the that's the general strategy so they're going to because of the re because of the back because the back wall so has such great you know the ball comes off so fast from you know from the back wall from the bricks hard rebound you know it's a hard rebounds and the ball comes right back in front of the net as we've seen in previous championship games here you know the goal there are a lot of goal scored off of rebounds from that back wall just to just to that point the year after my senior year we're talking 2004 halfter frish famous gain tying goal hit off that back wall between the three and the four right to our to our right bounce right back hit the FR goalie in the back and went into the net so that back wall is live for anybody who decides to shoot off it yeah definitely and it's a big Advantage for fast teams you could take care who could uh take advantage of it now on the sides it CH you know a different you know for both these teams they have at least one large wall for hater they have two large walls on the sides which used for clearing the ball out of the Zone here it's going to be a lot more difficult to get the ball out of the Zone using the wall because of how small they are as you can if you can see um over as the as the camera pans across the court directly in the middle of the floor you can see a you can see two two pads and you can see a regress but there's nothing above the regress and anything over there as avidon just talked about it's out of play so H as he said which has two walls with nothing but just wall and they use it to rebound as half out on the floor they use it to rebound it's not going to be the same thing the ball's out to play and there'll be a Face Off In the Zone on the other side of things we need to talk about whether or not halter can control Northshore starting line yeah absolutely it's going to be their big challenge for the game is going to be able to hold down you know Charles gr just and Adam Goldman you know they're the two main scorers for this Northshore team um they again they they're quick and they really shoot from everywhere they're going to be looking they could really northshore's Northshore scorers could really score from pretty much anywhere on the court they have great shoot really great shooters so it's going to be about closing down on Shooters keeping them away from their forehand for [Music] after as we await the pregame introductions you see you see hater right by its net norshore has gone back into the locker room cuz they are going to announce the introductions the players for today's game referees for today's game schoy Stern Jason schessel two senior senior referees St did last year's game and uh let's see can we any chance we can hear the pregame introductions or is it not louder thear theall and now number 30 [Music] goom in number 72 J as you can see on your screen we after ha roster down the floor both eighth grade team as aidon said both schools really eighth grade heavy many of these kids on the team the last year couple of kids who weren't on the team last year played basketball which will'll get to during our uh during our color format of the game a couple of key players switching over to hockey from basketball really making up this t team number and now the North St star stars coming out manit Oni nakam seagull Network we uh we thank you for coming along this ride with us this is the first hockey broadcast on the nakamal network a live broadcast will be going for three games today we'll be starting out here with the Junior High game which will be momentarily after this we'll have the JV game between t ABC and fr big rivalry want to team in for that one and then afterwards the varsity game which will be the two top teams in the varsity League DRS and fr for right now now in front of us hater and Nora both teams repairing to their Nets getting ready to come out with their starting lineups everybody's clear on the floor we told you I mentioned the disparity in the coaching uh between the two talk about John glabach John glak is a six-year veteran of the league in his first year he was here with the half Hawks in the bars in sorry in the junior high Championship that we mentioned earlier John's team the half Hawks won in double overtime in the second longest game in junior high history in the metropolitan Junior High Hockey League obviously last year with the uh with what happened in heish we can't claim it as the second longest in the uh in junior high history but on the other side schomo AMS slam his first year as a coach taking his team to an undefeated record so far will that play a factor in today's game uh you know what I think uh I think he's got his team ready you know you look at the way they handled the whole season it looks like they've handled the pressure pretty well so we'll have Goldman facing off with Newark Newark defenseman taking the face off for the team guess they want to try to match up offense on defense right off the bat yeah that's what it looks like um it's an inter interesting strategy there allows him to really if he ties him up off the face off he can kind of stick with Goldman right off the bat precious lining up on this side Silverman on the other side Center back we have fman on our side we have [Applause] gets underway halfs the balls the ball into the Zone sender back hands the ball out into the half side hit drops back playing with the behind pressured by Goldman and grous but gets the ball to about the mid Court line where oler is fighting for it now four players Bunch up sorts out fre tries to clear can't ball gets to midline anyhow glov down by Gres Gres moves towards us takes a shot wide of the net oler not able to get the ball out Center keeps the ball in Freeman Coming Around the Net to R side pressured by Goldman manages to get it out and it'll go down to the NorthShore and for the first time today oler tries to send the ball back to Newark into the corner fighting with grus grus gets it clears the ball out Freeman cannot keep it Freeman drops back pressured by Goldman greses in on a two two men in on the ball for norshore Gres comes away with the ball plays with his feet tries to backhanded through withs his legs does not get it ball rolling toward the front of the net cleared Away by freen off to Newar numar tries to thr the ball can't send or keeps it in sends it AC Cross Court where her quit picks it up and sends the ball into the camera well across from us so it'll be a face off deep in the half Zone well what we're noticing right off the bat here is when North's in the offensive zone after sending three players back to play defense and to keep one player at the point this is D this is a little bit dangerous you know leaving some nor pointment open they got some good Shooters so be something to stay aware of new mark on the face off again with Goldman ball one back have to take control we have Gman and Cohen on for the first time as the ball is four for around the midline noro's offense and defense both stay the same ball comes out of the Zone Center drops back tries to clear Gman gets it tries to put a ball to the net but it's blocked gr is coming across the floor fighting with Cohen and now we have a bunch up of five players right below us gracious Gman and sender figh sender kicks the ball out of the Zone uh Newark drops back sends the ball out Cohen comes through the middle he's stopped by Silverman but Gman tries to get the ball between sender's legs doesn't quite get there sender and Gman fighting for the ball on in the corner on the floor and we'll have a whistle 109 left in the first period they're really they're really letting him play this game's going to be pretty it looks like it's going to be a solid physical matchup you know two teams are willing to go at it in the corners well it's a championship if you're not willing to go for it all today there's really no other point to do it absolutely absolutely G and Center lining up ball put to through the middle and C gets a shot on net C tries to Come Around the Net but it's blocked Away by Silverman grus Gres holds the ball up and it's stolen by Cohen but grus gets it send the ball out the two ice hockey players Gus and Cohen ball sent up in the air kept in by center with the hand batted to uh batted by half the other way Gman sends the ball out of the Zone Silverman dropping back for North two half players there Gman coming away with the ball try to send to the front nobody home bres picks it up sends it on net ball come back the other way hits Cohen and we'll have an offsides deep so Elliot for those not familiar with uh with the rules of hockey what what is offsides so offsides is both play all players must be on the defensive side of the floor before the ball crosses the offensive line we'll get through a little more as the game goes on you'll see exactly how that works Silverman dumps the ball down through the Zone after a norshore win on the face off but it's dumped right back in by cander and the ball will drop back out to nor nor theall send it to the and a sa by crup CR didn't know was underneath him and crup will drop down ball is loose right over here by us Goldman tries to send it through the middle oler blocking that en and Gres fighting forward behind the net two more players come in Gres tries to come around and curl it doesn't get it Cohen drops back and sends the ball out of the Zone Silverman for nor he hit the 9 Minute Mark left in the first period Silverman fighting against two half with players gous dropping down send the ball off the board and out of the Zone carando tries to clear it out Cohen now sends it to the hits gous and the ball is offside we see both teams trying to apply the two-man pressure either behind the net or on the side of net when the ball Gets behind the line yeah they're doing that so they can take possession of the of the puck and then they're trying to break out from Around the Net going back to Top Line with fredman now on offense zanger coming to the game for the first time for halter ball gets dropped into on Hut making his first appearance for norshore Hut fighting with zanger zanger with the ball try s to the middle send it to Newark Newark at the line misses the net zanger tries to send the ball to the middle and it's blocked two half players and Freedman takes a shot ball hits off the side of the net grus now has the ball coming up the floor Gus on the left side turns fires and it hits the it hits the stes on the backboards which are out of play we saw some good speed out of gr there good awareness to go and take the open space coming on that left side came across laterally right to left drew a player with him but he could have gained the outside if he uh if he came around uh be around the shoulder looks like he's looking for that forehand Shot line up with cander sends the ball back to Hut sorry that was Freedman ball stays in the halfter zone and we're playing ping pong at the line new Mark Ball comes up to Freedman ball kept in the zone out of play referee's going to say it stays in the zone [Music] prous Goldman on offense sender and Hut on defense for norshore same line for half ball comes out to sender sender tries to send it across the floor but it's blocked her sends the ball into the Zone half to touches up sender send a shot and he got the flected off of Newark and almost into the net Goldman and Newark fighting for it Goldman comes away with it back to the player goes into the corner Newark going back the other way behind the net met by grous and the ball bounces in the air Gres comes away with the ball Newar sends the ball grous behind n at the line kept him by Hut and it goes into the half Corner ener fighting in front of us ball is kept in Freedman sends the ball Sean gloves it down and holds it for a whistle it kind of looks like nor is just willing to shoot from anywhere right here we saw there was a full court shot earlier before so it's going to you know that seems to be the strategy as we said about them and we said about the gym rebounds are a huge key and if you can get a rebound that comes right to the front we've had several of them one can go in corrupt did not see the ball there anything in front of the net might have slammed that one home yeah the flections are really tough for the goalies send b up and over Goldman tries to jam it in corrupted and see where the ball was gous in the corner gous sends the ball sender at the line ball goes to the side and Goldman had a chance in front prous lifting the stick brus tried to turn and shoot a little extra second wasted brus still sends the ball to the net fallen down great play new Mark will pick it up come behind the net going through to the line sends the ball in Cohen gets the ball to Gman Gman across to new Mark and it's broken up by Goldman Center bringing the ball to the floor two on one set the ball to Gres and it slides through Silverman keeps the ball in the zone sender down low sends the ball behind the net and it goes out of play so the ball will come out of the Zone 647 left in the first period again you are watching the nakam signal Network's presentation of the Metropolitan yiva Junior High Hockey League Championship presented by manevitz both teams are looking to combat you know the low Walls by uh putting the ball low off the walls and uh bring the ball up themselves rather than you know just throwing it at a wall ball goes out of play right to crup who covers it and we'll have a face off deep in the half to Zone half to will make a change Freedman cander on zanger zanger and Freedman on offense klander and oler on defense sender sends the ball in here after sends the ball out of the zone that was fredman sender running back with it as the ball comes in hits me it looks like this is the first shift where Gres is off absolutely we'll see how the team can play with uh with just sender there P may try to take advantage of this Pano sends the ball deep crup paddles it to the side where oler takes it sends it around Silverman tries to reach over keep it in but cannot get it two half to play into the corner Freedman tries to take it around sender gets the ball sends it back out into the half the Zone oler sends it right back the other way and we have Don coming around the Silverman ball gets sent out into the half Zone oler will put it on net and we'll have an off sides so as we talked about the off sides the ball will likely come out of play will likely come back into the defensive Zone at that point every man from the team that was that was on offense and now has the ball in defensive Zone has to touch back up before the ball hits either one of them or the goalie or it'll be an off sides as well that that plays a big part in the in the league where you know the ball comes back and forth a lot shot on go by Gres is saved by crup ball kept in by Silverman and we have two players fighting for three players now as danger com in greses tries to send the ball through blocked by half Newar tries to get the ball out Silverman hands the ball in they say it was touched by zanger ha will try to bring it out Goldman sends it into the [Applause] net Adam Goldman with a snipe from the three-point line puts noore up one nothing 543 left in the first period all coming uh with the ball ha was unable to clear the ball with keep by Silverman Goldman's able to just turn around and fire it opp Opposite side over the glove of uh Jordan CR half to look to be turned back the other way nobody watching and nobody watching him between what was actually the half court line and the volleyball line in that no man's land got to pick up the man coming out of the Zone yeah absolutely you got to stick with your man until the ball gets out of the Zone there defensively 543 left have a face up between Gman and Goldman and the ball is one into the head of Zone Newark trying to bat it up over his head misses gets it comes around the neet sends the ball across to Gman they're going to have off sides Hal will be off coming backen Dr a little too by number9 Charles Charles Gres given the assist on the goal gr sends the ball into the corner Cohen and Goldman going to f for Cohen comes away with it but the ball is kept in by Silverman and GES is fighting with new Mark tries to send between his legs through the front but the ball goes through Gman dropping down sends the ball out of the Zone grus recovers gets the ball in grus coming up the side sends the ball through and it's blocked looking for the pass there on his back end Helman sent the ball out of the zone and sender will now come away with it send the ball to the net paddled Away by corrupt hert start S the ball off the board and we had a whistle for interference I think they're calling that on Gres Gres is going to get a penalty with 501 left in the first period halter will go on the power play so so what is it they're calling there with interfer interference is where you impede another player from getting to the ball without going to the ball yourself every play in the league must be to try to gain possession of the ball if you are keeping a player from getting to the ball at least in this case from getting to the ball there are other types of interference then they will call that either a block at the line a little check will even be an interference in our league all right so now going to half power play what they did against Hal was they were they were they went to 3-1 and they were looking or and they were looking for uh for rebounds off the side shoot opposite side it appears they have one of two different styles because when they played us in ycq they also went to a box so it must it must be based on whatever Personnel is on the floor so I guess we'll see which one they come out with first yeah it looks like they're going into the box here up now we're having everyone in tight yeah it's looking like a box sender will send the ball out of the zone and half will look to regroup H sends the ball across Cohen Cohen sends the ball across the Gman in the opposite corner Gman playing with sender delman comes on with the ball sends the ball in front and it's jamed it's Jam the front it's still loose and singleman will fall on it like we said that their power play is looking to get goals from right in front of the net there that's that's where they're looking they're looking for rebounds they're looking for Jam goals it's where most of the goals have come from in the game that they played against nor they got two literally right in front of the net poking the ball in ball sent to the middle sender again getting the ball out of Zone well bounce to Newar Newar coming around with forehand put it off the board comes around Silverman looking to send it out gets it to Goldman who sends it to the opposite corner Gman dropping back to pick up the ball as about a minute 45 seconds about a minute gone on the power play a minute and a half power play Le herid tries send it across to Cohen misses his Mark sender will get it sender playing for it big body in the corner Cohen reaching between him to pull the ball free as the two of them now converge and the ball will travel all the way to the opposite side Silverman going to send the ball out hwood trying to keep it in with the gloves Hood's Come Around the Net pressured by Goldman up to Gman new Mark going to take a shot from back here ball goes just over the net bounces to the front and Gman had a chance to a bouncing the ball right in front those rebounds you talked about AI Cohen and Silverman fighting for it just about 8 seconds 7 seconds left on the power play new Mark looks like nor is using more of a hybrid for their PK we'll explain that in in just a second sender sends the ball as Gres comes out of the box and we're at full strength Newar sends the ball Set uh precious putting the pressure on Cohen sends the ball to the middle paddled Away by seagan sender puts the ball up and and Gres pokes it between the legs and we will have a whistle a tired Ben numar calling for off the middle of that play gret sending the ball between his legs to crup so the H the hybrid uh penalty kill that I was talking about was that when the ball gets sent in deep into the Z deep into the off you know into the power plays defensive Zone they don't necessarily send their Chaser the one offens man on the court all the way into the Zone they usually keep about a little bit past the three you know three-point line if the guy if the Chaser then has the opportunity to go and get the ball he'll go all the way in and get in there to get the to create pressure on the power play again back to four on four action ball squirts into the half Zone zanger puts a back hand to the net and it's glove that was deflected on the way in or he may had a cleaner look on his backend yeah that was very well played by the NorthShore defense almost could have been a knuckle baller find way up and in see plenty of goals happen that way Freedman going to step in with grus rore wins it sends it up to the line and ball poked out of play we're going to have another off Sid danger off sides the ball will come back deep sometimes on off sides when the when the referees deem that it will be intentional or when the play the pass that starts the offsides is from behind the high face off dot the referees will bring it back and have it at the low face off as have move up with it kept in ball scorts out there's a man open in the middle for a half here nobody's covering the middle and gretes put that up Freedman sends the ball and it just gets [Applause] through ball SS in the middle pear Lander now has it shoot goes up high goes behind the net Freedman three players fighting for it ball sores in the middle sent out of the Zone by col by Goldwin fredman and gous fighting for Alo Ball's kept in L to the middle Gus winds up and it's underneath crup stick seeing Toano and Goldwin we seeing Goldwin for the first time today toono had a had a shift earlier on defense along with Gres now toono interesting uh story he he came into the year he was out for most of the year with a broken arm but he was able to get two regular season games in and one semi-final in so this is his fourth game of the season there and he's he's being trusted to get good minutes here he's a very good player I've spoke with schlomo amsam schlomo schomo loves being able to put him in now missed having him the first couple of games of the year but the offense has really taken an extra step now that he's able to trust uh being able to put Precious on defense with Toano though yeah to I mean Toano seems to be a very very quick player so it's a bit it's big for when you're a four checking as an offens comes out with the ball puts a shot hits the back wall ol tries to clear it out Gman does ball sends back in nor so off sides oler sends the ball down to make the save and sender dropping him behind him to make sure the ball does not squirt into the net face off Deep In the noral Zone sender matching up with Newark Newark playing offense for the majority of this game not being kept on defense Newark Tres send the ball through Gman tries send the ball through to the middle ball dropped up and just as I say that Newark drops back to defense prous tries to send the ball through the middle we got nothing there Gman has the ball in zone ball sent out into the half Zone new Mark and Goldman going to fight forward Goldman blocks it threws it to the middle nobody there Cohen puts a shot knuckler that wound up behind the net ball sent back out into the half Zone precious coming around tring send in the middle off the goalie cleared out by Hertz ball Cohen tried to hit it out of out sender off deflected off of his stick and out of play sender's been a big boy in the defensive zone for them he's been taking he's been shutting down every bit of uh of half offense that comes their way I must have called his name about maybe a dozen and a half times already in the first 12 minutes of this game yeah he hasn't even gotten started with his offense yet they got to be aware of his offense right once that shot goes in hits off the back is going to create a lot of opportunities if after keeps letting him 15 seconds left in the period new Network presented by Manish shavit I'm Elliot weiselberg a long with Abid Don Burman first period of play done one goal Adam Goldman scoring at the 543 Mark of the first period assisted by Charles Gres only goal in the first period a very event first period OB down yeah definitely uh coming out coming into the start nor sure seems to be applying most of the pressure they were up in shots at one point 11 to4 but the the half power play seemed to get them started and they were able to catch up and then they to make it 14 to8 in shots that half their power play coming only a few seconds later literally 42 seconds later Charles Gres is getting sent off for interference noro able to kill that off with their with their penalty kill and uh Here We Stand one nothing what does Hal need to do to sort of get themselves back into this game it's all about nothing so getting back to this game is sort of you know it's not a lead but what do they need to do in order to tie this game up they have two things they need to do defensively they need to make sure that they're covering their offens men until the ball gets out of the zone you can't lose your guy and that's what really what led to the goal for norshore was they after they messed they they missed nor was able to keep the ball in the zone and then and nor and nor and Goldman was wide open so he was able to get the ball and score nor seem been doing a very good job of that keeping the ball in they're just getting are they just getting themselves to the right position or are they using their size effective I think it's a combination of both they're playing very strong positional hockey and but they're also using their size able to you know keep High clears up high clears in with their hands okay so again on the offensive end what should ha be looking for ha uh nor seems to be losing a man in the middle uh once in a while so they got to be more aware of that and feeding the guys in the middle for those shots they really haven't been able to apply the pressure up the middle just one thing we've seen is that with space sender is able to move around get the ball out of net but when he's pressured by one or two half to play it's become more of a fight his size is really being taken away when the ball is sort of slow should nor be looking to to uh to keep the ball moving somehow getting him open I know you can't set a pick here as you said that' be interference how does norshore keep sender moving in order to create opportuni if on Northshore they're playing against the two they're playing against two men to the corner so you got to get the ball away from the original Corner that ends up in and there's going to be an open there going to be an open defenseman on the other side of the court so if you could go and throw the ball Around the Net to the open defenseman to out or move up the ball that that would be perfect for them and this is a product of half for the most part sending two men into the corner yeah absolutely again we see both teams doing that to start this game sending two men in onto the ball leaving the other side open so um famous play the ring it's like playing in hockey playing a ice hockey where you have the where you have the the boards you send the ball around the puck around the boards to the opposite side defenseman opposite side defenseman gets to clear the the puck or in this case the ball out of Play No icing in our league so you can pretty much set it the length of the floor not have to worry about the ball coming back into the Zone yeah it's great for scoring especially for it's going to be actually very good for this norer team not having anything like icing because they like to shoot from everywhere we saw a couple of times where they were shooting from behind their own foul line even to you know just put the ball on that both teams we saw Newark lining up for one from literally right in front of us on the power play which is I would say a good 55 ft out yeah I think that end to end it's about I would say it's about 80 ft that is that a fair estimate yeah I'd say about 80 ft that's about so it's about I would say 55 ft out and the problem is with so many bodies a Goldie can't necessarily track a low shot on net well we saw that very early in the game where on a nor opportunity they took a full court shot and it deflected off Newark at half court and it because you know just because of the way it deflects it was very hard for Jordan Crum to pick it up we're all set getting ready for the second period Goldman and oler stepping in for the faceof go check ball drops back to to kurlander Sender gets the ball tries the back and it's kept in by cander cander fighting with Goldman for it at the line Freedman comes back HPS out tries to run through no man's land ball gets dropped out of play perando sends the ball into the well and we're going to have an off sides by half day look like Freedman was trying to pull the ball back there so he could keep his man on sides but the ball just didn't cross over the line in time for him so yeah after protesting but he touch the ball while it was still in the offensive zone so we get an off Sid ball squirts into the Zone sending it in oler and sender going for sender Bing him up to the boards sender coming around on the Move sending the ball out of play just like we discussed herlander on GES gous sends the ball to net saved by crop B goes into the net off of Goldman's foot gr sends the ball to the middle hits off Goldman's leg and into the back ofet that'll be Goldman's second goal this time up for two and balance as we said the play is so close something to the middle just find its way into the net absolutely we're looking at you know we're looking at you know exactly we're talking about in the pregame where this is their big offensive line you know their uh their Ben Sean line so now a two nothing lead 33 seconds in here is the replay coming into the Zone oh no this is the offside this is the offsides now we're getting back to live play sender back hands the ball out of the zone grous two on one if he hes Cohen comes in takes the ball but the ball goes out of play a big play by offens from C right there yeah if not it was a two-on one GES could have turned to his forehand put a shot opposite corner even if not even if it's a save Goldman was right in the middle unchecked Gres got a very good RI shot got to be aware of that Goldman lining up sends the ball to the opposite side where grus and her with fik for it precious body to the back to the play Comes Around the Net looks like they have the ball to the middle again grous comes around the front puts the ball that Mar blocks it Goldman in the corner back to the back to the defenseman two half players coming in on him and it'll cause a turnover but he gets it right back again two half players on him trying to keep him from turning around ball loose bres tries to come with it Gman keeps it ball sent to cross right in front and wide open play ball bounces on the goalie and across the crease Gres could not poke it in ball still in the zone goes out of the Zone Gman poking it out Cohen coming right from center with it Cohen having a lot of success going against sender sender tries to send the ball play kept in by by heritz ball sent out by norshore and on goal and we'll have a stoping play 1020 left in the second period I think Cohen's success against sender in those Corners has to do with his ice hockey Roots you know he's he's not willing to be he's very willing to get into those Corners with a bigger player and he doesn't mind getting pushed around if it's him getting coming out with the ball Goldman and fre FR for grous the ball ball has no idea where it is and the ball's in the net we have another goal is it a hatrick I believe they're going to give that they may give that one to Goldman and maybe a hatrick for Goldman looks like rious thinks he has it oh looked like it was look like golden was close to the play so we'll see what happens the ball came loose in the M the ball came loose off the shot there and uh Goldman fighting in the middle he was able to get down on his knees and actually took that through CR so Goldman with a natural hattrick scoring the first three goals of this game will have a tie out by halter 3 nothing game started out in line for for hater to to come back in this period one nothing at in the first period we're only a minute 47 into the second period three goals now three nothing two goals in the first minute 47 of the period both by Goldman where does it leave half now they they got to press right they got to be confident but they can't look at this as their they can't look at this a three goal deficit right now they need to go and this is one nothing they got to get it tie it up get one more get another one get another one you can't if once you start looking up and it starts looking like it so far you start tightening up on the stick obviously you have to remember there's 1013 left in this period there's 12 minutes left in a whole other period they just did that you could do the same thing the other way absolutely and the and the goal it wasn't like the norer was doing anything particularly special something they ha could score the same exact way they were goals right in the middle so it's it's about applying that pressure there just uh just a little story about a three-goal lead back when avidon you were in seventh grade when uh Hank and Hal met up in the believe it was 2006 2007 Championship I was the assistant coach of that team he went into the third period talk about the third period down three goals it was 5 to2 within a minute 37 that game was tied up it can turn just like that I remember Elliot I remember you're B you you were right there next to me so let's see what ha can do to get back into this game Goldman TR send the ball through squs back out sender pulls the ball tries to send it through the middle Gres now has it Gres comes around pulls around pulls for and scores beautiful goal what a goal by Charles Rous he just picked apart the half defense yeah that was that was everything that was the whole package right there there goes that goes he goes a he gives a a de around one defenseman fires it Top Shelf with that fantastic G shot he has right there he really showed the full package it was the speed it was the shot it was the handles and then there's a good reason why he has 60 career goals right there you see it prop went down looking for a low shot as a butterfly R just put it right up over him great vision we have another goal in the first two minutes I guess I was foreshadowing that when I talked about three goals but there we go and now it's a 4 nothing game we'll have a penalty se's going to get a penalty for for pushing zanger either and the ball will go off the uh ball will go off the backboard to stop play but we get a penalty on goalie Mark seagan pushing zanger in front of the net that's a tough situation for goalie cuz they want to clear the front of their net they don't like having guys in front of them so you kind of try to give them a push to kind of try to move him there but it looked like he might have been getting too aggressive there and uh pushing him from outside of the crease to get that uh interference penalty there's no problem bumping up with the goalie bumping up trying to push the player out but once you start shoving him that's that's when you have problems as trying to figure out exactly who to exactly who to put in the box is it the bench penalty Sean I think thinks he has to go to the box not not in not in hockey in any sense so they're going to have Silverman serve the penalty 948 left in the second period of play another minute and a half penalty it looked like nor for their penalty kills going with what we would call their big three you know you got your two big goal scor you got your two big goal scorers and uh gresci and Goldman and then you got your big strong defenseman in sender I guess you know I guess let's see if they get aggressive seeing what hater's given them this period I guess you think they may have halter on the ropes mentally one more especially on the penalty kill and that could do it for this game I mean GES also plays two positions he plays pretty much he plays everything for him so oh sends the ball yeah it looks like they're going in just applying pressure there but going still going with the one Chaser Goldman fighting against two half players her come out and we'll get a penalty on another penalty on no will be down two men Goldman getting a penalty for tripping Goldman tripping Hertz in the corner and we'll get a four on two for what will amount to about a minute and 16 seconds this is a massive opportunity for half nor just took a time out I believe nor will take a timeout if you can get two goals now two goals on the power on the on the power play half be right back into this and with the momentum especially with over half a game left scoring two goals that quickly we could see a whole new ball game absolutely and this is exactly what happened last period where half went and was able to get you know put a lot more pressure after their power play in the first period maybe this could turn around their period here also as you said one goal at a time one goal all you need is one now one in a minute as long as you clamp down on defense you keep the game going you keep the ball towards the net good bounces and this game could easily be four up at some point mentally this game this is going to be on new Mark and Gman to keep their team together they're captains you know they're experienc they've they've been down before they got to just remember you know this game is they they could definitely come back in this game so it's very you know it's very you know very important as the captains to really you know keep their team motivated and keep them into it let's see if as we saw last year in the championship in the junior high championship game we had a 4 on two as well let's see what happens with the penalty Killers I wonder they're going to go with Gres and sender wonder if they're going to play two back or if they're going to play uh one one where they have a chaser up top and a defenseman down low let's see what's style they come out with on a four on two new Mark and grous grous comes away with it on his back end sends the ball off the wall out of play it looks like they're bunching on one side even grus and uh and and sender are both on the same side here they're going to have a face off a whistle face off for a dead ball in the corner they're sending one man in see keeping sender back strategically you'd think sender would want to be on the other side of the Court there no no not necessarily because this way he had has the bead wherever he needs to go that's fair maybe when they get possession he might want to shift over like that Newark BRS the ball in new Mark sends the ball back to Cohen doesn't hit sends the ball over to her her comes around puts the ball to the net misses the net C of the Away by seagan sender sends the ball but not past Newark Newark playing with the ball in this cor he really should keep the ball moving on a 4 on two not look to stick handle that ball needs to go where the players aren't as the where as the old thing goes where the players ain't yeah oh it I mean it looks like half is being uh is trying to move the ball a little bit quickly they're not really possessing it on their power play as much they should Newark there maybe if he turns around maybe give himself a little bit more time no well again I would think you would want the ball to keep moving because you have one player on you that's three that's three other players two of whom do not have a player G precious picks up the ball in the line and it's to off sides so I mean just just on my perspective uh I would like to you know control it for the first second just so you could so the ball isn't moving spinning around too much okay draw the player over in order to give yourself a passing R yeah got it Gman ball floats out of the Zone her it's looking to set up first sends the ball up to Cohen Cohen sends the ball across and it's kept in well they thought they were off SES there bad misy sender send the ball out does now and we have a minute over a minute gone we are almost done with both penalties have really missing an opportunity here we have H we have Newar coming into the zone tries to send the ball GES playing with it sends the ball out into the half Zone her dropping back as they'll be on side as we have one player back and it's a fouron three and cman will cover up as we return to fouron three play we saw half there on that power play actually when the ball take advantage of that brick wall in the back with come when it came into their defensive Zone they were able to break out real quick cuz the ball came right back out to their player they didn't have to chase it as far but a bad Mis Q on what they thought would be in off sides yeah absolutely wasted time ball out of the Zone wasted a shot opportunity too nobody was near the ball we have two players fighting for in the corner now we got four in the corner sender sends the ball out backck in ball will hit the rafters above us and it'll stay in the norshore zone deep that was that was sender using his siid right there in the corner able to take just take just take the ball with three other guys there and just clear it with his back end both power plays now over so we will return to four on four play missed opportunity for hater look to see where they go from here hater still not hting the U the 10 shot mark on the despite having the opportunity to on that I don't think they got I think they may have gotten one shot on that on the two on the full on two one shot on net it might have been only one um it's a big Miss similar to actually last uh last championship where it was a four on two no goal scored oh actually that's not true we going to have off sides oler not being able to get the ball in Cohen not realize it touching the ball yeah last year there was a goal scored on the 4 on two yeah Yi Goldberg scoring from the point on a u on a misc uh made it back to four on three uh but that it was a little too late that was the second goal the that was the second goal of the game I [Applause] believe no it was a third my apologies sender fighting with Cohen Cohen on an extended shift this line on this offensive line and we're going to get a penalty on [Applause] sender we got a penalty on sender behind the net for checking Cohen so so noro again and now without their biggest defensive penalty killer yeah this is another big opportunity for haa right here they they got to take advantage of sender being off the court because again he's their main defenseman now they're probably going to be sticking greses back for uh to play to be one of the defensive penalty Killers again you got to imagine that this another penalty positive penalty go by norshore debilitating for half to seeing that they can't even get that goal on on a on a man Advantage so instead of their CH instead of their Chase they're going to be using Toano to chase instead of Goldman for this one oler flips the ball out Freedman tries to a shot neutralized by Gres Goldman sends the ball up to Toano Toano sends the ball into the Zone after will regroup oler behind the net oler can't get around to oono oono looking to kill two half the players in Gman sends the ball up towards the net and it's gloved by sedan 7:03 left in the penalty another four on two no's really got to start keeping their cool here they're given to have way too many opportunities here to just flip the momentum I think I don't know if that was I don't think that was a an intentional play I think he just tried to keep the stick on the ball and just got a stick caught Around the Net and it hit Newark I mean granted that's still penalty but I don't think it's I don't think it's norshore making a mental mistake as much as it is just making a mistake of trying to keep his stick out you just got to always be aware of where you're keeping your stick there yeah you could see uh you could see half to going around Net and no he he actually has his stick around the NorthShore player there uh the norshore player has around the half player there you got to be more aware of that stick you can't you can't do that I stand corrected as the 4 on two starts again new Mark will move up S ball across the Freeman off sides cannot cross the line if you have the ball you can cross in with your body first before the ball but you cannot cross in before you possess the ball not much time left on the other penalty should coming back very very shortly I think 15 seconds Goldman sends the ball out have looking for reset new Mar sets up the fire puts the ball to that gloved by seagan you got to if you're going to be taking a shot like that another player should probably come to half court and put a little bit of a screen it looked like seagan had had that lined up all the way through five more seconds remaining on the first penalty to coming off hurt here what was Nor able to do twice not once but twice to keep that for on two as we see GRE is doubling over getting getting needing a little bit of win he's been used quite a lot this per and he's coming off but what did they do that neutralized half so well they forced half to clear the ball down and then they got to every ball first it seemed as if trying to trying to get the ball to the line Half just resorted to putting the ball into in his Zone trying to get a rebound but the bounce is coming up the wall not going half his way yeah those are really difficult uh bounces stick for Al you know cuz the ball's bouncing it bounce high it's it's not really baseball cuz your stick is so thin new Mar coming up with the ball three on two sends the ball across to Gman who puts opportunities they're getting the ball across they're just not finishing so you got to figure a little bit more of the opportunity assuming that norer doesn't jump in front and ha could have a couple oler sending the ball out of the Zone Silverman back hands it up to the line Hertz blocked by grous shot goes around to kurlander kurlander sending the ball down Sean thought he had it ball comes back around in front kurlander pinching in not being able to get the ball grus and kurlander fighting forward grus comes away with it gr sends the ball through the middle no dice there Silverman tries to no hand pass and we're going to have it deep in the norshore zone Cohen and Hut fighting for Hut got to watch his sick Freedman Coming Around the Net Cohen can't quite get there herlander keeps it in or he does not did not see a hand up but it was an off sides fresh is playing with it at the line Cohen came back touched the ball 110 left in the second [Applause] period you got to think you need one before the end of this period if you were half to yeah you got to be looking for that first goal I feel like it's this is one of those games once you break it open once it'll give you the by seagan look like nor still uh hater still going to uh the long shots from back there not really uh looking to move into the Zone which they seem to have success when they were moving into the Zone late in that second period so something to take note of speaking of Junior High championships congratulations to the krushna Cobras for winning The heish League champion ship running a perfect season defeating yav net two to nothing on Thursday night getting back to this one the New York League Goldman and klander fighting for the ball behind the net and we're going to have a penalty on kurlander seagan going to come out always a always a tricky play to to have a goalie come out especially all the way across the floor yeah that's also dangerous in in our kind of gym CU if you make a back pass and uh and there's no defens in there that could roll into your own net so that's that's very dangerous play by norshore we're going to get a penalty I believe it's on cander and yet they got him he's going to be tripping behind the net six uh minute 6 into the period minute and a half four tripping last thing you want as Northshore is to make a bad pass there and for the ball to Rolling to the net giving them a free goal yeah I don't know that that was a little bit too aggressive for me but you know what I'll tell you what they're winning for nothing they they know what they're doing so I guess you can I guess you can take a little more but at this point make sure you win this game don't give him any opportunities as hater is going to come out with fredman oler and herwitz to kill off the penalty Goldman greses sender and Silverman on the power play ball in the corner GES and Goldman ol sends the ball is this the first time we've seen the NorthShore power play tonight I believe so this getting the ball across the crease no home no takers there to put the ball home gr is using a very strong box out move whenever he gets into these sideboards you know to allow the rest of his team to set up in the power play yet another ice hockey move the the other player on this uh Court to play competitive ice hockey other than Cohen from half Goldman sends the ball to cender sender back to Goldman Goldman tries to send the ball through the middle and it hits off en en will send the ball back to the point Silverman sends the ball down two norshore players Goldman and sender on Hertz looks like ha's leaving the point open here I think they're just trying to make sure that nothing happens in front of the net cuz I think that's where the majority of the play has really killed them and that's in front of the net yeah most definitely but uh you know having so many guys down there it could screen the goalie so you got to be careful there also you want to give a clear path for the goalie to see 951 left in the third period right now of the game there is I think 27 seconds left on the penalty ball goes out of play we're now down to 25 seconds that was right there we go precious press the backhanded in Silverman keeps it sends the ball down low blocked by oler who sends it to the boards precious coming around to the front poked Away by crup and they keep poking in front sender s to the net and scores scramble in front we just talked about keeping the ball out of the middle scramble in front producing the goal yeah that that was them that was once again I think that's pretty much where every single one of the northshore's goals has come from right in front of the net there with the exception of Goldman's first goal that is absolutely right within within the what you call him basketball the key it looks like the ball came off on a rebound and sender was standing right at about the a little bit behind the you know behind the foul line he's able to shoot at Top Shelf there on the blocker side 5 nothing H is really going to have to dig down deep to come back in this one we've had we've had comebacks before so it's not out of the possibility ball goes to seagan and seagan gloves it but this is noral really putting on both the offensive and defensive dominance that we discussed yeah they've been I mean this looks like one of their best gamees the season also they're doing really everything correctly at this point the one thing they didn't do that they allowed to happen in the halter game and in halter was they allowed halter to get momentum they have not allowed halter to get anything started and it's really coming to fruition for them for the uh for the game I mean I think you'd think of that because of their strong penalty kill has really kept half away from uh building up the momentum at the opportunities when they had that shot northshore's third shot of the period norshore only three shots on net uh all three I believe on the power play sender putting that one in the back of the net crup will come out and cover it so Elliot as a coach you know you've been uh many championship games what would you be telling your half team right now keep plugging away keep yourself to the net because you've gotten the opportunities again one like you said before one at a time one at a time this is a champ this is a game that can turn on a dime you saw three goals scored in 2 minutes what's the reason why we can't do that the other way around we've had our opportunities starts in the defensive Zone with cander now has the ball deakes out and ha's not a team really to you know just say oh wow down five nothing they actually led the league in scoring this year so they they have the offensive capability of coming back into this game that is correct ball sent out past Hut grous looks like they may try to keep greses on Just for security sends it Gman keeps the ball in ball hits off a socket in front ball goes behind the that's new you know about about those sockets you know on the side there in my f the first time I coached in this gym I was uh I was coaching rombomb and we were playing against TC and one of the goals that we allowed actually but it came off of a face off where a hit then the ball came off of the socket out to a player and it put our defenseman out of position they were able to go and shoot right off there and score so every part of Lawrence Middle School as we discussed before the game started really comes into play given the given the size of the floor yeah for sure precious you see carpel on for the first time this game for doore and we have a hand pass they call a hand pass they call off sides one of those too I believe they called the hand pass ref saying carpel did not touch it carpel and Goldman on offense gracious carpel is one of the lone seventh graders on this uh Northshore team he is the lone seventh grader I believe there are only two seventh graders in this entire game if I'm not mistaken so both of these teams this is really for them this is this is the game they both wanted to come in winning because it's going to be rebuilding for both teams out of this year gous sends the ball up off the scoreboard heritz with carpel on him sends the ball up pass Hut grous tries send the ball out of the Zone Shanks it and the ball goes right to Silverman and that's a that's another uh half opportunity which they need to take advantage of those blown clears that come out to the middle they need to have a guy in the middle to tap those in GES is trying to clear the ball out fast not getting good wood on the ball fredman not getting his stick out hits him in the foot do can go in the net too just keep putting pressure on keep the four check up which H has done successfully they just haven't been able to keep the ball in as effectively they're on they got the pressure on but they're not able to keep the ball from getting out of the [Applause] Zone ball comes out of play carpel and new Mark fighting for it down here and the ball will come back into the half Zone 726 remaining in the third period 5 nothing norshore sender the goal early on the period on the power play to put half to put half it down by five and we'll have Newar coming in we'll have a penalty on grous and I think they're calling him for a trip right there y definitely a trip right in front of us nice and easy call for Jason chesto mhm only question is did he get the ball did he not doesn't matter referee says no and that's how you have to go if you get the ball on a trip on a trip if you get ball first and on that same motion follow through you then get the man it's not a penalty you're you are safe there's no trip on a SL on a slash it's actually different but on a trip get ball first and they won't call it on you ref's got to be watching that though so we'll have a minute and a half brous in the Box Hal we'll try to capitalize on I believe their sixth power play of the night we'll have an off sides [Applause] this third period has been a lot more back and forth we're looking at shots of six for North or four for Hal so they've been relatively even here ball kept in the Zone by sender cender dropping back s over new Mark new Mark sends over to Freeman kind of bunching up making there I think they make it a little too easy on on nor with both people on the same side if you're if you're on the same side you have both offeman on the same side all that means is that the defenseman just has to be ready to take both of them you want to spread the floor a little bit more in order to get uh in order to get more of a passing Lane if you Bunch up there really is no chance to get that pass to your teammate ball kept in the zone new Mark Gman fighting forward T down the ball through the middle but clear out of there new Mark turns the ball behind the net misses Gman try to send the ball through Newark moving up pinching in Newark with puts on the net and scores power play goal Ben Newar beautiful shot from the side could this be the Turning Point per half right here that was a big well no matter how you slice it it's a goal and it's an important one cuz it gets them on the board it looks like new Mark just fired a fired off off angle the ball came around uh came to the side and just caught him on the near side a great R shot right there catch just catching a goalie moving looks to be taking a timeout are they see in helmet off get no they're going to let the play Go Gan looking to get the we get a timeout now we are going to get a timeout by North waiting for the last possible second old coaches trick yeah most definitely you uh you have the goalie he uh he kind of resettles himself you know gets your team from extra time in the rest then you call your time out you get extra time you wait till they get in you wait till they get back to the Face Off You dilly dally a bit and then at the last second when the referee leads in you lean over you call a timeout I think this is a big opportunity for half right here they just to they they just they have the opportunity right here to really take the momentum they can get another quick one here quick one in here you know it it really changes up the game just really just take you know take this opportunity right I think that's I think that's just uh am Slims away I'm telling this guys calm down still 5-1 game we've been playing phenomenally for the first first 2 and 1/2 periods just keep it in check no more mistakes let's just keep this game going and bring this home for Norwood's first championship half looks a lot more confident here also I mean you just watch the way they're walking up and down the court they're a lot like before they had their heads down a little bit right now you can see they have a little bit of pep in their step maybe they'll begin the ball's a little earlier to be able to take you know take care of these opportunities that they're going to get I hope uh shomo amam the second of one of my players to be coaching in the aiva league the other one actually the third one of the other ones standing right next to me that's AB Don the other one over at Westchester AI nner for the Westchester varsity team so did he also do the girls team there or no I don't know that that league is starting up over the next couple of days I think it's already started up uh Westchester is already played a couple games I have not got a chance to be out there to see them I don't know if I will this season kind of a long drive for me how about you you want to in the third period as a coach for John glwach this this is a time where you just try to get every ining the 51 game I probably try to press a little bit more here maybe add a couple of more third line guys in whatever it is but I would still be trying to press it because again you this is hockey you can still come back here Alan vasovski pumped to get into the game Alan vasovski the manager opportunities when the you know when the opposing team just blocks everything you love to see the grittiness it's a championship game if you're not willing to put your body in front of the ball in a game like this you're not willing to put your stick in front of the ball what are you going to yeah absolutely you got to you got to put everything out right here this is the last game of the season a lot of the guys eighth graders you don't know what where you're going to be playing if you're going to be playing next year this is this is a really your time to just put everything out on the line we see Franco and Schwarz getting their first moments on the floor as well for halter glabach going to the bench cando and Freedman will be on with them same thing for amsam solomani coming on the floor hard they took it to them early they never they never they never really took their foot off the pedal there they just kept going and going going even with 10 seconds left you see gression going into the corners getting the ball and it's just constant aggressiveness and that's really what taking them through the season is they skill but they're never ending aggressiveness well congratulations again slomo amsam leading his team to an undefeated season going to be a question of when we can see these two teams in a championship again as we said majority of these two teams graduating their their main rosters most of the guys for nor been on there for the last two years between the lows and the highs and this is what they get out of it you work hard you get yourself a AA League Championship absolutely and uh this is a great experience for some of the h a lot of the half players here they're going to have an opportunity to be back here in the future they have they have some young six creators who could really take uh take advantage of the opportunity you know in C you got uh Cohen so they should definitely still keep their heads up and look forward and what can we say about the game by North's Top Line the8th grade the eighth grade line really pulling out the stops Center on defense but of course the two monsters on offense you had Goldman with the three goals you had grous with a goal what can you say about that line other than just they were fantastic tday theyve not stopped this entire season they have been scoring you know every single game and they give the MVP to grus gous one goal four assists sorry one goal three assists apologies congratulations on a great gr is showing his dominance with that great goal yeah it was it was a Wild goal there
