contestants you need to get a 70 average
on part one of all three qualifying
tests for example if you get an 80 on
test one a 60 on Test 2 and a 70 on test
three you qualify to join the
international shaton however to be excl
representative you need to qualify for
the and get a 70 average on part two on
all three qualifying
tests many got over 70 average on both
part one and part two on all three
qualifying tests however the rule is we
could only have two representatives for
grade so our representatives are the
with the highest Mark in their grade and
now without any further Ado our school
representatives for fourth grade
are M will and many
[Applause]
wo are you disappointed well it would be
nice to be a school representative like
I was last year but at least I'm on the
shop of town
I didn't made me realize that if I try
hard then I'll succeed I'm so proud of
you you've all worked really hard and
you've made it into the
international on the Thursday of
Theon you will be taking a final that
test is going to be much more difficult
than any of the tests
you've taken until now so now is the
time to review the entire book to know
it inside out and back to front and any
of you who get over a
70% on the hedone final will be called
up at The Grand hedone Event and awarded
aone plaque and if you get an
85 you'll be award Ed not only aone
plaque but also aone metal I would love
to see as many as possible from our
school to receive Theon plaque and

we have three out of our six teams to
the right team Yad kazaka with 3,000 508
points that they have accumulated
throughout the shabbaton and in the
middle and Center Stage we have team
saera mitz with
3,43 points that they too have
accumulated throughout the days of Theon
shabon and on our left we have Team
P 3,000
425 points sitting over here on our
first level we have the contestants from
the fourth grade who studied yah's book
number one which contains 86 Mitzvah
from the rambam from the swarm of Mada
and aava one row up in our second row we
have the fifth graders who studied
yada's book number two
which contains 145 Mitzvah from this
of and a continuing up the stage on our
third row we have the sixth graders
which studied yada's book number three
which contains the next 145 Mitzvah from
this far of Zim and a one more row up on
our fourth row we have the seventh
graders who have studied yah's book
number four covering 122 Mitzvah from
continuation of a carban Taris and isin
and finally on our top row we have the
eighth graders who have studied yah's
book number one in depth containing the
86 Mitzvah from Mada and aava book
number five which contains the rest of
the 613 Mitzvah from this Farm of Kenyan
MIM and shim was just released and was
not available when the Kon began seven
months ago however it has just been
published and the yadas set is now
complete and eighth grade next year will
amem study yahadus book number five and
now for the rules of the
international game show Championship I'd
like to welcome everybody to round one
featuring our first three
teams we're going to ask a question to
one grade at a time beginning with the
fourth graders on the bottom row moving
our way up to stage
here are the rules rule number one after
a question is asked a team that knows
the answer needs to press their buzzer
whichever team presses the buzzer first
they get to say the answer rule number
two teams have only 15 seconds to press
the buzzer to earn full points after 15
seconds the question will be worth half
the amount of points rule number three
once the buzzer is pressed by a team
they have 45 seconds to Prov provide a
complete answer to the question rule
number four if the answer is correct
that team will earn 100 points which
will be reflected on the scoreboards and
if the answer is wrong or incomplete
they will lose 100 points in the fourth
grade we are going to start with you but
just before we start I want everybody to
get familiar with the buzzer sound so
I'm going to ask sa for a Mitzvah 6th
grade your Center Stage could you press
the
buzzer that's what it sounds like and
I'm going to ask the judges to release
the buzzer reset it that's what that
sound is so you'll know what's going on
Fourth Graders the buzzer reset we're
ready with our very very first question
of the game show between the teams
YZ
and fourth graders here you go there are
four mitv connected to anas what are
they
[Music]
don't
know sa far Mitzvah is you press the
buzzer with 3 seconds left give us the
answer please don't don't rebuild
anas don't benefit from anas destroying
or any do anything in it and don't don't
convince people to what to go that is
correct plus 100 points for team safe
for a mitz do not persuade anybody to do
a
destroy don't rebuild and do not have
any benefit from it and our next
question buzzers reset our next question
goes to the fifth graders sitting on the
second row when you know the answer make
sure to hit the buzzer for full points
before 15 seconds our next question is
there are five Mitzvah in your book what
are
they team y kazaka you pressed the
buzzer that was quick hello that's one
uh Hanukah that's two pum three aen four
you have 30 seconds left you could work
Asam that is correct the five Mitzvah
they abundant in your
book if I could go back to the fourth
graders this is not for points there's
two more mitz there abundant in your
book what are they tell us but it's not
for
points just to make it
complete that is correct we're moving on
to our sixth graders on the third row
this question goes to you
how do each of the following connect
to the number five 12 and abas
Ken how does five 12 and abas Ken
connect to
mitz and it goes to safer team
safer how did the number five and 12 and
abas connect to
mitvah five sheep five sheep is the Le
is the minimum you amount have to have
to give it to to be okay
12 12 for each each sleep has to produce
12 SL of wool that's
correct basen basen um you can get cut
if it's not people then that um that
there's no like special cut gut or a
regular cut please explain you have 30
seconds left how does it connect to abas
all right if you married a Bas that's
correct you could give wal basen even if
she married a is plus 100 points for
team
saz and our next question to the seventh
graders which of the following Pim is
referring to the carbon don't look at
the screen if it doesn't work look at
you have your own screens over here on
the side okay you don't have to turn
around which of the following Pim is
referring to the carbon
one
two team as you press the
first that is correct
the unbelievable to be able to figure
that out that is the only one that
refers to Shi from those suim and our
last buzzer question on the top level to
the eighth graders who also studied book
one here is your question get ready to
press the buzzer if you know it name at
least six conditions that must be met
for a city to be
anas P you grabbed it right
away into the mic into the
mic do we have a mic top
left it must be twoim is one condition
they must be men two uh they have to be
from the same city that's three for the
same shavit four they have to uh
convince 100 people from shav it they
can't convince less uh they have to
convince less the majority you named at
least six of the conditions for a city
to become anas plus 100 points for team
pish our next round of questions is
going to be the bonus round and each
question will now be worth
150 points this question is going to be
an open-ended question which means we're
going to ask you to name how many
Mitzvah that you could think of that are
connect to a specific category for
example this is just an example it's not
your question name how many Mitzvah in
your book have to do with bread each
team is going to get their own question
each worth 150
points and now for the rules of this
open-ended
round rule number one your team has 60
seconds to write down as many Mitzvah as
possible that you can come up with as a
team together each of you have a paper
with lines and a pen and someone who is
designated to be the cipher The Scribe
for the team rule number two Mitzvah
must be written down each on its own
separate line in order for us to count
it and we're going to come on stage to
see if it's there rule number three
writing a broad term will only count as
one if you want to get more points you
write all the specifics of that Mitzvah
so for example if you're going to write
carbon you're only get one point but if
you'll write the carb mus of rashash and
the carb mus of Yer and the car mus of
sukus and you list them each In Their
Own Line you will get a point for each
one rule number four if you're in middle
of writing a Mitzvah when the 60 seconds
are up and you're asked to drop your
pens the judges will be the one to
decide if that Mitzvah should be counted
or not so you're going to work now
together as a team and you're going to
write down as many Mitzvah as possible
fourth graders as soon as you hear your
question you could start writing right
away and pay attention to what your
question is cuz each grade is getting
their own question fifth graders when
you hear your question you could also
start writing right away and then the
same for the sixth seventh and eighth
graders eighth graders when I finish
asking you your question that's when the
60-second timer will start and everybody
can write for 60 seconds until you hear
me say the words drop your pens we have
a
question if one asking a carbon if you
um are you asking for example like uh
specifically like a carbon from T the
that I ask you carbonet would be the
right answer and all the carbonet would
fit that category you're going to have
to write each carbon if you want to get
full points if you want if you write
just carbonis and say that I know the
nine mfim that won't count you have to
list each one I'm asking is because it
could be certain c um like uh certain
carb like carbon which is which could be
like under the category of carbon you'll
figure it out when you get your question
you'll see all right last
question
what you'll see the questions very clear
you'll be able to figure it out right
now you don't have to write the whole
name of the Mitzvah because it's not a
writing competition you have to write
enough words on your paper that we knew
which Mitzvah you were referring to so
you could write one or two words so
let's say let's use carbonis as our
example you could write M shab you don't
have to write carbon Etc okay we are
ready and our first question goes to the
fourth graders as soon as you hear it
you could start writing pay attention to
your question name all the Mitzvah that
are punished punishable by malus in your
book fifth graders name all the Mitzvah
that have details associated with the
number three all the Mitzvah that have
details with the number three sixth
graders name all the Mitzvah that are
related to shita or Y seventh graders
name all the Mitzvah that are associated
only with sheep Lambs or Rams sheep
Lambs or Rams only with those eighth
graders name all the Mitzvah that can be
fulfilled through speech and all the Li
to say that you could be I transgressed
through speech the 60-second timer
should go on
now eighth graders your question is all
the mitz that you could be M only
through speech and all Thea says that
you do only through speech
7eventh graders any Mitzvah that has to
do with sheep Lambs or Rams any
[Music]
Mitzvah 11 seconds
left
yes get ready to drop your pens three 2
and one at this point all teams must
drop their pen thank you please put it
down and you can sit down thank you very
much okay this is how we're going to
collect the answers I'll start with the
fourth graders I'm going to ask each
team how many mitz was they collected
the team that claims to have the most is
going to have to provide their list to
the judges and if approved they win and
they get 150 points for their team and
then we'll move on to the next grade so
in the fourth grade team Yak how many
mitzvas did you come up with written
down on your paper give us a
number four four and in team safe for
mitz how many Mitzvah did you come up
with written down on your paper five
counting one that I wrote sh lad and
then it was over okay well count so you
have four and a half for right now okay
and team pish MN is how many six six so
it looks like we're going to collect the
numbers from P mnas what are your six
Mitzvah that you came up with in 60
seconds that have to do that are
punishable by
malus that is correct that's
one that's
two stage manager you can check that
it's on in the name
ofar it's no malus for that one that one
won't count so we're holding two it is
it is all right that's three not making
a tattoo four
that is five so you got the most Mitzvah
plus 150 points for team pish give us
your sixth one your sixth
one that is correct you got six Mitzvah
and you earned your 150 points our next
question was to the fifth graders and
your question was all the Mitzvah that
are associated with the number three
yaka how many did you get four four four
and say for mitzvas into the mic how
many did you get three three and how
many did you get two two it looks like
we're going to go with Y and what are
your four Mitzvah please Point while you
read
them that's one why does it have to do
with three could you tell
us um you got it right just how does it
have to do with the number three um
because people give three half that's
correct we all just did that next
one k how does it have to do with
three there's three ways to be madesa
that's correct we have
two M does have to do with the number
three there's one there three different
cook food that is correct so we have
three Mitzvah so
far
not but I think the judges are counting
it or
no we count mitzah dur abundant not a
mitzvah
we'll count
okay that's
four what's on your paper what you said
you have four you had the most plus 150
points for team Y kazaka and our next
question was to the sixth graders we
wanted to know all the Mitzvah that have
to do
with how many did you come up with on
your paper three three and sa for mitz
was how many eight eight unbelievable
and Y how many 11 11 MIT connected with
in 60 seconds okay so please point on
your paper while you read the Mitzvah
into the mic loud and clear don't work
on shita that's one don't work on
two
three
four
five six
sanctifying seven counting the hold on
hold on judges want to think about
that Reay number
seven sanctifying shmita no no no okay
okay sanctifying yil would be right
counting hold on one second we're not
counting that right so we're only
holding six all right sanctifying sh
does not a Mitzvah go next number eight
well you have by number eight is we're
holding seven but you have on line eight
go okay counting the years of yo that's
correct that's
seven well then we're going to skip nine
also gonna skip nine okay which one's
this so we have seven so far oh
harvesting in the usual manner on schm
you're not allowed to do what does it
say the usual manner okay usual manner
so that's eight schim would be nine any
of you had nine no so you're still the
winner even though we didn't count two
nine mitzvah for team yaka plus
150 points our next question was to the
seventh graders all the Mitzvah that
have to do with sheep Lambs or Rams and
team Pish mishas what's your number 12
12 in 60 seconds and sa for mitz 10 10
in 60 seconds Yak 19 19 Mitzvah that
have to do a sheep Lambs or Rams in 60
seconds that's unbelievable please Point
while you read them that would be the
best second the judges are you ready
here we go SL the judges want you to go
slowly okay
that's we're starting again that's one
two
three
four five six seven
eight
10 11 Slow Down slow down
13 14
15 16
18 19 mitz and 60 seconds plus 150
points for teams Yak unbelievable that's
simply incredible and our last
open-ended question for this round went
to the eighth graders sitting on the top
row and our question to you was how many
Mitzvah essay in your book could you
only be M through speech did
and how many MIT say only through speech
andas what's your number into the mic 12
12 and say for mitz 13 13 and yaka 10 10
so who gave us the most sa for mitz you
gave us 13 let's go through the list say
them slowly please to the judges and
please Point put it
here that's one a little louder
I can't hear you I hope theis to be
aesis two lenara three uh that the Musa
should not defend the mesus that's four
it's through speech the M should not
hold back any evidence against the mesus
won't count judges it won't count not to
hold back evidence even though it's
speech hold on let's get an explanation
for the crowd for me for you it doesn't
it doesn't you don't transgress Thea
through speech you transgress the Vera
by being being quiet so you're not
speaking I see very good okay so there's
only four Mitzvah so far okay where are
we holding point please beas
hasem is five nik
nik
spee it can be done through speech but
it's not only done through speech it can
be done through speech if you say h it
can also be done through MSA through
lack of MSA I won't give you the shovel
or hitting him back but you could do a
by saying I won't give you the shovel
just like you didn't give it to me and
you did nothing and only spoke that's
the example not only speech so it won't
count so what's our number anybody
counting five NRA ntia same will you
count ntia judges n is Bel n is Bel will
not count next kishma kishma
six which Mitzvah are you talking about
that's better seven um
eight and
uh one of the people who say the future
the through speech not only through
speech not only through speech he did
some
stuff yeah all right we're not
counting that's it so how many do you
have eight how many did you have we had
12 12 did you have any of the same that
we crossed out uh I took away hover cuz
so you're down to 11 okay and how many
do you have 10 10 so we're going to go
to that team now excuse
me good job though let's give a round of
applause for team safe for a Mitzvah
very good job you came up with a lot of
Mitzvah okay please point and start give
us your list so number one
isos one
Lea so it's not always which
Lea which that that you shouldn't that
you shouldn't believe there's
another if you say it's believe not
speech no but if you say it you we're
looking for only only through speech all
right so so far we have one uh swearing
in the name ofar swearing in the name
ofar is
two m m hold on the judges are talking
hold on we need done through also which
one can be
done that's correct so we're not going
to count that so so far we have justos
we have one
we're holding mesus is
two m is three a AER nothing to do with
speech you could do it through speech
but it's not
exclusive obviously Stoll is not either
exclusive to speech all right I think we
we already
eliminated we'll give it to them that's
four is
five there's with right they did
something which La of what did he write
he wrote not to do
but there's AA with it not do or not to
ask he just wrote the word you want to
see what you mean to the judges because
he's always he's also saying like
incantations he's also saying stuff he
also do we didn't count either so we're
not going to count
next won't count all right it looks like
we have our original winner which was
team in the middle
right that one I'm sorry yeah hold on
before I call it you got it that Team
all right plus 150 points no no we need
to hear from them why need to hear from

oh and now we welcome back today's MC
Rabbi yushua
ltic thank you KH thank you Ellie for
that beautiful K theme
song there's a story
there's a story about a famous Yeshiva
in Europe that did not own a complete
set of sh it was a challenge for any bck
that needed to look up something in any
specific M so the rash yiva came up with
a plan he selected a group of
bakim and he asked them each to master
and memorize a different M and anyone
who had a question and any particular M
was able to go over to that bak and ask
him his question and obviously get the
answer these Bak they mastered their M
so well that it became a part of who
they were to the extent that they were
no longer referred to by their names but
instead they were called by the name of
the M which they knew so well instead of
being called abam he was called bra
instead of being called y he was called
shabus and a and that's how they were
referred to amongst us today we have
521 contestants who have spent months
memorizing and mastering the 613 Mitzvah
they learned it so well that it became a
part of who they are so contestants
listen up I'm going to ask all the
contestants sitting here on our right
and all the contestants sitting here on
our left and all the representatives of
round two that are on stage that during
the next few minutes
while I'm speaking if you hear a Mitzvah
from your book referred to or mentioned
please stand up give a wave with your
flag a quick cheer and sit back down
similar to the roll call because this is
who you are these Mitzvah became a part
of you I'm going to ask the judges we
all assume that you know all the books
so you could cheer by any one of the
books what it took for everybody to come
here today is so incredible over 6
months ago
of dedicated their free time to learning
T and studying the sa mitv of the r at
every opportunity whether it was in the
early mornings throughout recess or when
they came home from school in the
evenings and of course all throughout
chabas they even made sure to utilize
every free moment even instead of
waiting around between daving mus and
making
kidish as a coordinator I get to see
firsthand how thez can truly transform a
child a class or Yesa to see theim so
involved in the learning with such gak
helping each other out with such
AAS always with their yadas book in hand
is a true
kesem and a beautiful sight The
Unbelievable growth of the is the
biggest and greatest testimony to how
amazing and successful the MIT program
is just two years years ago in schas
there were 229 contestants last year in
schas hakel there was 634
contestants and after having such a
beautiful and incredible Kon shabbaton
last year and a beautiful kedon event
thousands of kept the promise they made
and began learning for this year's Kon
at the beginning of this year
282 Kum set out to learn for this year's
and took took the very first test after
three very challenging pre-qualifying
tests
1,45 524 girls 521 boys earned the
opportunity to join the international
Kon shabon we are so proud of all the
2082 that dedicated their free time to
learning Tyra and we hope you'll go for
it again next year and we look forward
to welcoming you at
the next year
we are sure that in the of all this
extra learning we will be to the coming
of Messiah when there will be the
completion of thein the marriage of
K and the yid when everyone will follow
in the ways of hasem when we will build
the B of mikdash and once again be able
to be M the carbid as well as to fulfill
all 613 mitz
thez is truly the very best for that we
owee a very big thank you to the
sponsors and a huge aser kayak to the
host
organization
Hashem on behalf of teachers and
principles coordinators and base
commanders parents students contestants
and representatives thank you to the
entire team at K hasem and to the most
unbelievable team at International Kine
headquarters and of course to those who
stand behind all of this who have
redefined the meaning of dedicated they
have redefined the meaning of being
devoted it's a family operation let's
give a warm and big round of applause
and a big thank you to the one and only
Rabbi shimmy and Mrs Zelda webal
and now please turn your attention to
the screens for a special tribute
video at this time we pay tribute to our
Kon judges harav elazar Ben harav m al
Shalom Wanger and harav Ben harav
elazer Shalom zurin words cannot
describe their dedication to the their
goal was simple to get children to K in
the mud with Yia atsuma and that's
precisely what they accomplished we are
sure they are with us today and they're
shepping lots of nahas from on high
today we are lucky to have Rabbi zeren's
children Rabbi ysep and Le
zurin who have continued their legacy
and dedicated countless hours making
Theon a reality we must also thank
judges Rabbi Zalman Glick and Rabbi
Shalom Lane for the countless hours they
put into producing the amazing yadus
curriculum
and now for round two of
the game show Championship we welcome to
the stage our next three teams welcome
to Myra Nim with
3,583 points and we have in the centers
team
shiles with
3,601 points and on our left we have
team igera sambam with
3,449 points the rules for round two are
identical to round one we're going to
ask a question to one grade at a at a
time with the buzzers starting with
grade four May in fourth grade are you
ready are you ready
shis are you ready buzzers are reset the
first question of round two goes to
Fourth Graders who studied book one from
m and aava here's your question name
three mitz that involve
spices and it goes to team sh that was
quick is one is
two is three that is correct plus 100
points for team sh our next question
goes one level up to the fifth graders
who learn y's book too listen up to the
whole question to which Mitzvah do all
of these apply peels the number three
and the number
45 and it goes to
shil they press the buzzer first MIT ARA
and how
peels can have the peels even the peels
are uster during ARA 40 for number three
three years earless for three years and
45 it could be up to 45 days earlier or
later if a tree was
planted 45 days before
when rashash comes it turns 1 years old
that is correct plus 100 points for team
sh and our next question goes one level
up to our sixth
graders the question is as follows are
you ready which does not
belong and it was pressed by
team and why does it not belong because
it's not part of the big right that is
correct the other three mitvah all had
to do with
bigv applies to all y to honor the and
our next question goes one level up to
our seventh graders who learned book
four are you ready your question is as
follows remember to press the buzzer as
soon as you know the answer buzzers are
reset with which Mitzvah are all of the
following connected black here white
here basa Evan 7 days and shil wow this
is quick paruma that is correct it's
connected to the Mitzvah paruma and how
either two black hairs or two white here
is going from the same here folle you uh
it's not not Kosher that's correct and
basa Evan the person who's doing it as
loost seven days before in the base
EV that's correct and seven days in the
base EV there you go you gave us the
right answer plus 100 points for team
shil and our last buzzer question for
this part of the round of round two goes
to the in the eighth grade sitting on
the top row who learn book one in depth
name four mitzvas are you listening that
are connected to
here four Mitzvah connected to
[Music]
here all right you pressed it very good
fourz
have to be by the hairline hold on yeah
that's counted you outsmarted the judges
they did not prepare that one very good
that's
one
two here that's
three oh wow the judges did not prepare
these but they're going to count them
all that is correct we also have
theah and the Mitzvah not shaving your
beard and not ripping out a not ripping
out Al Plus 100 points for team Myra Nim
from the eighth
grade that was quick this they were
incredible they just hit the buzzer
right away they were searching through
all those Mitzvahs
unbelievable
okay now to all the teams on the stage
you have your pen you have your paper
the rules are the same make sure you
write on separate lines each mits on its
own separate line don't write broad
terms it will'll only count as one and
work together as a team for 60 seconds
and pay attention to the question that's
to your grade fourth graders I will
start with you the 60c clock starts
after the eth grade is there
something any question that I'm going to
ask you that has to do with punishments
we're asking for what it says in the
icon not what it says in the details of
the unit that's the rule the judg has
asked me to clarify that so here we go
with our questions five open-ended
questions 60 seconds to search through
your book and come up with as many as
you can fourth grade name all the
Mitzvah that do not have a
punishment at your icon fifth graders
name all the Mitzvah that forbid a
person from eating something sixth
graders list all the Mitzvah that are
connected to a an item an object in the
B mikdash do not include carban seventh
grade when mashiah comes which Mitzvah
that apply only in the times the mikdash
will we finally be able to fulfill and
to our eighth graders name all the MIT
that are between you and Hashem that can
be done without any other people
involved 60 seconds begins now
[Music]
get
all right time is up please drop your
pens thank you everybody has their pens
down all right fourth graders we're
going to begin collecting our answers
from you again and your question was to
name all the mitz in your book that are
Mitzvah but nevertheless they do not
have a punishment usually that would be
because it's a
love it's just with thought or speech
and how many did you come up with
written down into the mic into the
mic
seven
seven eight
eight six
six you have eight please tell us what
they
are hold on hold on hold on hold on how
many how many do you have
um no you have to list them separately I
told all right so you're down to five or
10 so we have six you have six and you
have so we will go with shis what are
the eight please Point inside while you
read
them okay that's
one is
two is three is four
that's four that's five because it's
primarily that's
six that's
seven that is
eight that is eight plus 150 points for
team
sh fifth graders your question was to
name all the
Mitzvah that forbid you from eating
something and how many 12 who 12 11 11
that's close and nine nine it looks like
we're going to go with please tell us
what your 12 are while you point inside
another another can't have grapes that's
one two
three four five six not cooking milk and
meat not cooking yeah it's not about not
forbidding to eat that's about not
cooking so not so we're holding six so
not eating will count that will be seven
TR eight n nine non Coos your
animals 10 not
11 they wrote not to but that's every
LIC starts with not two I don't think we
can count that 11 so they have 11 that's
for sure if you have 11 you'll both get
the points let's see what your 11R could
you move the paper to this
side Arla one
two
three we're counting
zerus that's
it hold on obviously means to eat right
okay that's we're holding five slowly
please tra six NAA seven noner animals
eight uner Birds nine uner fish 10
flying insects
flying insects that's 11 so we have plus
150 points for team Mayim and that was a
tie so we also give 150 points to team
shil we move up one more level to the
sixth graders your question was to name
all the mitz that are connected to a an
object in the base of mikdash excluding
carban how many do you have
eam five and a half five and a half and
Sh how many seven seven
and s seven all right I'm going to start
with what are the seven that you have
con is
one two it's connected to
good
considered no why
not yeah it's a carbon okay excluding
carbon we're holding two
which means your team might win this one
we'll seeus Tyrus
is Tyrus is connected
to MIT which mitz ofus are you referring
to to offerus no not to offerus to to to
not to offer anything other
than judges you have to call this
one give the judges their time
he wrote the word
Kus if you want you could decide later
it might not be Naya if they have seven
they won
anyway or you could call
it yeah we'll find out it's going to be
fear trust me it's going to be
fear's only that is correct there's a
lot of things that could happen it will
be fair the judges are here
we'll get
back should we
continue let's first see if it matters
you give a tough one all right you want
to go to the next team in the meantime
all right they don't want to make a
decision on that yet let's see if they
have seven then they won all right so
team sh paper over here please Point
finish their list they should okay so we
had so far over here miss
GIS we didn't count we had CL didn't
count so we only have two so far k
is
three Mas is four to build a base of M
is five so your team has five ifus
counts you'll decide it will be six
let's see what your seven are arranging
the arranging
the is one you're not allowed to take
big steps on
two is connected to an item object K you
anoint the object in the Mish you anoint
the objects in the Mish with SH
counted okay so you have three k four
carrying the on the shoulders
five six not removing the poles with the
Ain should I should I lost your B the
Arin seven plus 150 points to team
sh and to the seventh graders you were
supposed to give us a list of all the
Mitzvah in your book that we will once
again be able to make when mhia comes
because are these are Mitzvah that only
apply
bman okay seventh graders how many you
got R how many seven seven sh how many
10 10 and 16
unbelievable 16 mitz in 60 seconds that
we will be able to be M when Mah comes
let's put it on this side and into the
mic judges are you
ready
one
two that says that says rash not so so
for you have three M that says Jim
Kipper
four five
six
seven eight
n
12 he said R before
now yeah you got it right you have 12 uh
14a 16 mitz in 60 seconds plus 150
points for
team and now we go to the end of round
two to our last open-ended question to
the eighth graders which was all the MIT
that you could
be that you could be M alone with other
people you how many 15
15 15
15 into the mic 10 10 okay I'm going to
make my way over TOA we'll start with
you
got okay judges are you ready 15 mitz
that are that you could do alone no
other people need to be in the picture
go
one
two um okay they wrote times two on one
line give it to them
twice I don't think so someone else they
did five times mesus they did five times
mesus we didn't give it to them two
times F in so it's going to count as one
remember that was a rule each one on a
separate line so you only even if you
wrote a number the rule was each on a
separate line so even if you wrote
ttimes 2 it's only worth one sorry so
you have three so
far
four
five
six
seven
iing could be done alone good
eight
[Music]
nine 10
CL 11 I will see if time two you can
only count it as one sa for Tyra
[Music]
13 so they have 13 Ms but you said you
had 15 right and you said you had 10 so
we're going to have to go to this team
see if they get 15 or 14 they win if
they get 13 it's a tie they get 12 they
win
okay hold on hold on one
second
okay hold on the judges are saying
something mitvah
um amem is the name of a unit oh the the
Mitzvah of believing hm's
existence okay so that's
one is two three
four five
um it means not to destroy six um
KES hold on KES
could you do it alone because there's a
case you could do it even yes okay
seven you could do alone also
eight is nine
10 11 12
13 um
14 is 15 plus 150 points for team sh
let's give a big round of applause to
all three teams that are here on stage
this round has concluded and we have
Team Mayim with
4,083 points we have Team Shala chit
with
4,501 points we have team igaram with
3,449 points okay from the first round
we had the team that had the most points
was team Yad kazaka with
4,28 points so it looks like we will see
in round three the following two teams
teams y kazaka with
4,28 points and team
silus with 4,000 501 points let's give
them a round of applause and welcome

4,23 points and in the center of the
stage we have team
shil with 4,501
points round three we bring back the
open-ended question but this time the
open-ended question will be the same
question to all the grades and as soon
as I finish saying the question each
grade and each team has 60 seconds to
work together to come up with as many
Mitzvah as possible that fit that
open-ended question and when the round
is over we are going to collect the
Mitzvah we're going to go to the fourth
graders fifth graders sixth graders all
the way to the top and the team that
collectively came up with the most
Mitzvah that fit that category will win
360 points and they will win the game
show for tavin a Zion so get your pens
ready if you're the predesignated cipher
for your team you could work together
and Whisper into his ear not into the
mic we don't need buzzers and here we go
for the final question of the game show
one open-ended question to all of you
name all the mitz say that apply to all
people doesn't matter when doesn't
matter we all the mitz say that apply to
all people
only in the icons we're looking for
remember all questions are icons all the
mitzva say that apply to all people
9 8 7 drop your pens at zero 5 4 3 2 one
please drop your pens everybody sh
everybody perfect thank you and you can
take your seats and before we start
collecting the mitz uh sh is fourth
grade round is
over um y kazaka seventh grade it's over
thank you thank you sh no one's cheating
we're just making sure they're not even
talking thank you okay so this round is
worth 360 points the teams have Yad
kazaka has
4,23 shis has
451 basically whichever team wins this
question gets to be the winner of the
game show we reset our scoreboards to
zero on each team because as we count
the Mitzvah we are going to feature on
the screen how many mitzvah so far each
team had and when we get to the eighth
grade we'll see who won fourth graders
Andy kazaka how many mitzah do you
have how
many okay just say them and we'll count
it for you okay go five and a half okay
let's see into the mic judges you ready
for the
count one hasem hold on they want to
know which
Mitzvah it's the name of a unit it's not
the name of a
Mitzvah okay that's
one Le or which
one two boys said count it as one okay
one mitzvah for sure you get there
two
three
four
five Abid
to destroy aaro okay six okay so so far
we have six mitv for team
y six mitz and how many does sh have you
have six and a half six and a half the
judges are the ones who decide the
halves let's
go one
two
three
four five
six for a they wrote aav aav for
a okay that will count so the so far the
score is 7- six scoreboards 7 to six and
now we move on to y kazaka in the fifth
grade how many Mitzvah say in your book
apply to all
men nine
okay who's reading who's pointing we
have a makri and a Bala okay let's
goab that's that's one hold should we do
the total so we're holding six seven so
far seven shab
eight
nine
11 what does that say
12ah 13 mat
15ak so far has 15 mitz between the
fourth and fifth graders they've
accumulated 15 mitv and now let's go for
team
sh seven and a half you might reach 14
and a half then let's see all right
could you bring the paper to this side
thank you
go g of the naer that's one that's
holding number eight for your
team
what it's the same
Mitzvah it's the same Mitzvah so you
have so far eight for your team in total
eight shav shabas nine um rest on the
first day of P 10 rest on the last
11 13 12 I'm sorry
12 13 R for it says R yeah it says
almost whole word r 14 Mitzvah in total
so far so the score right now is 15 to
14 and it's obviously very tight and we
move one level up to our sixth graders
this time we're going to start with SH
how many did you get 10 10 so you might
bring your team to
what the count is good we have judges we
have scorekeepers I have it it's fear
okay
thanks no let's St we're holding number
for your team we're holding number 14 so
this will be the 15th if it
counts P
15 16
17 18 parrot 19 Sedaka 20 truma 21
23 24 your 10 Mitzvah all count your
team has 24 the score is 24 to 15 but
let's see how many these six graders
also 10 if they all count you'll be
holding 25 let's see what you have
somebody should Point somebody should
please
read SL
SL K is a lasa sir all right doesn't
count sh is also need mitv say that
apply to all people sh won't either
count K won't either count K won't count
what's that one mishan counts that's one
two ster three not to hold back from G
ster that's a l to say as well not to
hold back from b m you got four in total
you bring your team to 19 mitz the score
is 24 for shil and 19 for yadak and now
to our seventh grade ERS on the fourth
row who learned gad's book number four
your team has 24 let's see how far you
get your team start into the mic loud
and
clear we need a mic here go go again
MRA which
Mitzvah the
mic okay that's that's going to be for
your team number 25 carbon 26
paruma 27
which one
may
everyone hold on we're holding 27 the
judges are
deciding
28 save the nearu save theu 29 I'll take
your question in a
minute 27 28 29 30 no this not right so
we have 30 so far and you have one
more 30 one so this team right now has
31 mitz viice you want to challenge one
of the judges rulings go for it they
said carbon and I think carbon H applies
to the entire Community not to all
people let's see if you are right was
carbon HR one of your Mitzvah yes all
right it was our second one and we have
a challenge to the judges let's see what
they come up with we love when the
judges are challenged maybe they
don't Caron imer is it to all people or
is it to
C
everyone all right the books are coming
out we're going to wait we need to wait
for a decision that that was a good
one I think I think we're fin get it
right so far the score is 31 to 19 but
we're holding seventh grade on this team
31 to
19 if the judges disqualify it they go
down to 30 we accepted CRA for paruma
we're accepting it for this to okay
paruma was accepted when it's also a
Tiber which means all people so carbon
nightmare will be counted and your team
remains with its count of 31 mitv but
thank you very much for that very
accurate and thoughtful challenge
nevertheless it wasn't accepted so how
many do you have 15 oh wow 15 let's get
who's pointing
hold on I got to see I have to see okay
we're holding for your team we already
have 19 we're going to go from 20 go
point and
read hold on judges as 20 one
second
Vali was 20 V is
22A 23 P 24
NOAB to burn
pagle holding
25 the
burn hold on the judges are deciding
what was that about
kab they realize that it doesn't count
so hold on where were we holding 20 21
22 23 we had T and vade is 20 21 K katas
was
22 pumo and pesak was 23
okay we did par paruma
24 to burn
pigle 25 burn ner
26 Ro part
problem ring 26 let's go Roost the
carbon PES
27 H one second what was the fifth what
was the fifth
mitzah which one about carbon PES
been what was the one before that about
carbon PES show me on the paper for is
bring the carbon to make sure it's eaten
roasted all right so where are we
holding 27
27 which this one you're
saying next this one my sir 28 they said
about hak
before H count we counted AA we're
holding 28 now with
Meer all right you want to start over to
count we could do this again the part of
the problem is I'm going to ask you that
one of you point one of you say we're
going to start all over from m t judges
let's be on this one let's go t 20 V 21
24 pig to burn piggle 25 burn Nar 26
roasta car
PES where does it say
that 27 my beho 2
29 that's crossed out sh where does it
say that
30 teras on the hand teras on the hand
on the hand teras on the skin 31 and TR
on your house SAS on the house on the
house
32 this team goes up to 32 wow okay that
was tough so the current score is 32 for
team yadak AK and 31 for team
sh they now want to have an objection to
the judge we're going to take it cuz
before we go to eighth grade we want to
make sure there's no complaints cuz once
we call it which team won they will
remain and will be the final winners of
this mitv so if you have a question it's
to the judge go ahead to the mic
yep the mic don't
ask no no did you did you did you count
uh roasting caresa we did for them M
eating not roasting is yes but part of
part of the Mitzvah of eating is to eat
it roasted so we included it as that
Mitzvah wow I just want to tell the
whole crowd you're not up here but these
boys are really debating and going at it
you don't hear it on their mics
unbelievable how much information they
have and eighth graders you're the
oldest so the pressure is on you this is
what's going to Make It or Break It We
have 32 to 31 last objection for your
team into the mic
however we got a mic here on the fourth
row
here
second the second part of their Mitzvah
um is is in
details of what which Mitzvah roasting
of of roas the second part is in the
details it's true but by saying the
roasting we consider that he talking
about how to eat the carbon PES which is
the generalization we're only asking for
Mitzvah names and if in the details
what's what's car he also said carbon
PES that's PES there roasting all right
you got you understand why the judges
rule that way okay cuz even if you don't
win you have to at least understand why
so you understand right okay we're ready
for eighth grade eighth graders yaka how
many do you have nine nine yeah all
right you might bring your team to 40
how many do you have 11 and a
11 and A2 you might bring your team to
33 and A2 so let's go with the team that
says that they have nine what are them
we're holding we already have 31
points toil go start from the top 32
it's 32 to
31 opposite 32 to 31 I'm sorry why you
saying okay so go 33 um um um believing
that there's AEM believing that there's
AEM which
Mitzvah
40 41 mitz 41 mitz for team
y 41 mitz for team Yak
now to this team over here
team shus
chis your team already has 31 if you get
10 we're going to have a tie if you get
11 you're going to win you said you had
11 and a half yeah all right let's
see
32 which
means
34 35
37 where am I holding
41 42 we have a winner for the
[Applause]

testing the event is not over we still
have the second half of our event which
is the awards ceremony which we will get
to in just a moment but it is now my
great honor and privilege to introduce V
Vice chairman of America
L Rabbi MAA Kari from the
balcony afterwards we will continue with
the award ceremony the highly
anticipated award ceremony rabbi karski
there's an award ceremony that is going
to take place now but in
reality each and every one that learned
to sa for mitz is a
winner and these are the true winners of
this great great competition of the Kon
mitv there is nobody that has
participated in learning the sa foram
mitzvas that is not a winner but there
are bigger
winners one I would like to
mention who has a tremendous
clus that thanks to him the yadas
curriculum was
printed and that is none other than one
who has given so much of his time effort
to the expansion of
schis Cil Yehuda Roar who has done this
in memory
of his mother Mrs S bashra Yehuda and we
wish him that he should have success in
everything that he
does in yesterday's para we
read the of
the and what is
there are those that say that the is not
speaking about the abish but M turned to
CL and said to them you built a
beautiful mishkan you built everything
that
was now it is up to
you may
God made the dwell in everything that
you do so the ab should help because the
biggest source of Nas that there is is
to the
re or you could say it also that he has
W today very big in the thousands and
hundreds of and maybe millions of hours
that have gone into learning his Tak the
Tak of mitz the Tak of of Li Ram so that
makes the Reb the biggest winner today
and what every it strives to do is to
give the
re and what you are doing today those
that received over 70 points over 85
points and those that even didn't pass
the tests that got a different Mark you
have won because you are giving the
rebba
tremendous by trying I want to give
great thanks to
the and everyone that participated to
help make this a
reality thank you very
much and now I'd like to welcome
everybody to the award ceremony of
the there will be a few parts to this
award ceremony we will begin with
honoring and awarding all contestants
not just Representatives all the
contestants from around the world who
came to the at the onset of the
shabbaton on Thursday morning they took
an extremely difficult Final on their
complete yahad book that their grade had
to master and now we are awarding the
Mitzvah plaque a beautiful beautiful
plaque to every single contestant that
got over a 70 on that final they're
going to have a plaque like this they're
lined up there are many of them that's
why the hall emptied out and they will
be introduced by their schools by H take
it
away all right I'll explain what's
happening after that in the meantime
and yes oh we're waiting for kanone he's
announcing it right here right here not
medals we're not doing medals pla those
who got over a 70 we're ready to go k
you ready let's go
[Music]
these are all the contestants that have
over
75 their names are featured on the
school on the board by school
[Music]
give them a round of

[Music]
okay please take a look at our beautiful
stage up here it has just been
transformed from a game show stage to an
award
platform amongst us
today amongst the 521
contestants 120 of them approximately
are representatives from their school
which means they got the top two marks
in each grade from their school and
they're here today to represent their
school at the onset of the kedon when
all the contestants took a final they
took that final and an additional 35
question extremely tough final the
judges used their hardest questions to
try to have this competition and this
was an international competition amongst
the school Representatives where the top
Mark will be awarded with the gold
trophy the second to Top Mark in each
grade will be awarded with the silver
Trophy and the third to the top Mark
will be awarded with the bronze trophy
so listen up contestants you don't know
who you are if you're called up as a

particular position with all the hard
questions that were there there was a
tie and the judges cannot eliminate
anybody so it's possible that we will
have a few bronze trophy of fourth grade
and a few gold trophies of fifth grade
and any particular position on the stage
could have more than one winner and we
