BOE Member Tracy Tift Video Message Prior To Elections

okay good afternoon uh my name is Tracy Tiff and I'm running for Lakewood school board um I'm one of the um the nominees for the board I live here in town I have two uh girls that attend the public school uh my position is that um for all the kids um making sure that everybody is treated equally to make sure that that all kids get a proper education um um I've lived in this town for over 12 years I have roots in this town um and I like the public school system uh hopefully if if I continue to to to be on the board I we will finish what we started to make sure that all the kids have a proper education and and hopefully we will be able to lower the budget um by that what I mean is not cutting uh different things Mo mostly there there's certain things that we can cut there's certain things that we can't cut I everybody's concerned about the school budget and how much we spend on the school budget um but some of those things are necessary in order for every child to receive a proper uh education you know some of the things must be in the budget um and hopefully if if I'm if you're voting for me uh tomorrow I will continue to finish what I've started i' like to say thank you to Lakewood school for giving me this opportunity to speak to you and have a nice day
