it is super early in the morning we have been loading in since about 6:30 and we're hours and hours and hours before the show just for you to understand what goes into this it's not doesn't happen overnight doesn't happen quickly we're planning this for weeks we've arranged we've rehearsed we've gone through all the effort through all the Motions this is Ari Buu from Blue Melody and I'm going to take you through today the process of what goes into an incredible show from start to finish come join me on this unbelievable fascinating journey is this like here for the night yeah con you better do that yeah this doesn't look right if I'm the band owner right I should have two should have two henchmen doing this for me right where's my parrots why am i setting this up and where's my steak you water no I want moist tetes you water bottle that you know what I'll take the water bottle no I'm kidding it has to be now oh and there's power also sign of a good sound company you plug in and the power is running already these are rare occurrences my [Music] friend sounds good so obviously this guitar is electric like most of the ones you're going to see on stage are which means they're not producing any Acoustic sound on their own you don't capture them you don't just put a mic on the strings people need some explanation so you need some sort of processing is a fancy word to put it for our preamp in the music world is what it's called it all comes from the pedal it all comes from the preamps most guys today have preamps at their feet and you program it and you set it up that when you press certain buttons it triggers certain sounds and obviously when you're playing a live show you don't want to have to think about that stuff it's got to be clean I have a Harmony patch which the crowd loves which sounds like two guitars right so I got cool stuff like that cool toys to keep uh people entertained and different Sonic Scapes you know to capture different modes all the iPads in my band are linked to my master iPad so every iPad is preloaded with its set list for this show and that obviously took a lot of time there's songs all in order something has to change last minute I got to bring something up at the end ijust the order like so it's my job also is obviously to get all the music in order to make sure everybody has all the charts they need the arrangements are on and that everyone no one's missing anything and that all the parts are correct the sax doesn't have the trumpet part trumpet doesn't have the Basse everything's loaded up correctly and I'm going to do a quick check of all that now to make sure every iPad has the correct Parts check check check one two one two hi I'm Barat bushan and I'm the audio engineer for this stage my job job is to make sure they're comfortable so they can perform freely and relax everything has to be organized because if to make sure that everything every line is labeled every source is labeled and we make sure every line is checked there's no noise no hm we get a super clean signal we tape down every single cable the whole stage is neat and clean there's no flaws everything's go perfect and smooth and you enjoy the show so the communication uh we have a shout monitor by the front of house the engineer he talks to me and I have a microphone and there's a speaker up there so we can communicate with each other this microphone also goes to the band to the I have access to every single source that whatever is going to the audio I can listen I can monitor and then plus this is my wireless rack I have all the in ears so they can hear themselves the band leader the director at the front of house and also the the the musicians of the choice get get an image look at the joy of being a professional drummer the image the excitement this is a good time for me to introduce you to our Rockstar as if he needs an introduction this is T PL he might make the music good tonight I I may how long have we been practicing this like two years three years since since 11th grade this show this show yeah pretty much something like that we do this for about 30 40 more minutes until the engineer starts to feel it and then we move on to the next drum and there's 15 drums usually we don't finish before the show starts we'll see what happens okay here we go so the band is w soundtracked and it sounds great thank God we're ready to go and the star performers are on the way in first up comes Ari kler I hope to show him my guitars hopefully he'll be a fan he's a monster player and I'm a big fan of his as well what stainless steel everything's aluminum they make them in Indonesia and then a guy in Indiana takes them and sets them up isn't it gorgeous next comes bar Lavina you did neish for many many many years and he brought a guitar also I don't even know why I brought instruments on everybody's guitar players non guitar players and three and three tracks on every guitar I love [Music] it but box sounds gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous and then comes Benny also I know Benny plays guitar but his vocal pipes are amazing Benny Benny your t's coming today also no I sat by for 2 hours I have a lot of questions that's it two hours and you have more questions yeah ex way more questions and last but not least his eighth day and everything they do is absolutely popping this is the first time blue get the privilege to back up 8th day we're super exced EV are you excited is this video or picture Eighth Day blue Melody this is historic it's going to be insane this is going to be amazing unbelievable hi guys I'm Rafi Grady I'm uh the music director of this evening uh will be playing the piano running the computer I wrote some of the arrangements for tonight love working with blue Melody this guy's the magic super conductor a ranger and most importantly unbelievable human being one of my favorite uh bands in the the Jewish business [Music] lucky lucky are we lucky lucky find a way in history Liv around where we're supposed to [Music] Becky are we I all right guys it's about to go down we've been here for hours and hours practiced honed on the sound honed on the arrangements honed in on the vocals honed on the production the songs the set list everything and the show is about to begin with hashem's help it's going to be absolutely incredible and we look finding a way in history around where supposed to be oh my gosh we just finished the show it was unbelievable it was incredible smoother than we ever could have imagined the crowd was fire the singers were amazing and thank God my band was incredible as always rafy Grady was unbelievable conducting sounds and Productions unbelievable the sound was I thought Flawless the musicians were amazing arier did unbelievable gorgeous bar LaVine gorgeous singing along Benny was absolute fire and a they had the crowd dancing it was really an unbelievable incredible young I use it unbelievable a lot we'll
