He postdated the deposit check and my boss said, "Post dated? Who does he think he is giving me a post-dated check?" He took it personally. You tell him I need the check now. I went back to him. I didn't tell him he doesn't want it. You know, is it possible that maybe we can just move the dates around the contract? What? So, you know, your boss doesn't trust me. That was response. You tell your boss I'm leaving you to say. So, I come back to my boss. I'm trying to negotiate with him. He goes, "No, no, no, no, no. We're drawing the line in the sand." I had the check. He took the check, ripped it up. I had four guys in that office who walked over to me and collectively between them there was probably about a hundred years of retail residential retail real estate experience and they've all told me in all their years they've never seen a commission check that was handed over ripped up. I said I'm glad I could be your example of life. That was really helpful is really what I was striving for. My boss felt so horrible. He came over to me and he says, "David, I feel bad.
