so what's up everybody I'm here in
Brooklyn right now um we have the show
tonight in Crown Heights but first I get
to take you guys somewhere awesome that
means a lot to me I'm heading to the
offices of 246 if you don't know 246 is
a I guess I would say kosher or Jewish
uh streaming platform that me and my
family absolutely love and adore it's
been great for us but they have these
MP3 like solos that have become they're
like taking over the whole entire Jewish
world everybody has this so I'm going to
go and pick up some but I'm actually
going to go and talk and discuss some
business over there at 246 so take you
guys along with
me David's going to take me David say
hello what
[Music]
up you know it's a nice car and
everything but I don't
know if this my size
[Music]
hey guys what's up I'm here and uh we're
going to cross the street and we're
going to
go you
know I think before this app was a big
struggle for a lot of the parents
because you know even there many
different type of things that they tried
to do on you know on like uh Spotify for
music to modify what type of music
you're listening to even if there's
profanity and not profanity but
sometimes it's bigger than that
sometimes we want faith-based content
and we want content that uh is going to
be good for the kids to listen to and
you know you can put it on and you don't
have to worry about it so these guys
have created an app to do that for a lot
of parents especially uh religious
parents right but you know really for
anybody I think even for other people of
different faiths that want to be able to
put the the music on for the kids and to
know that uh you don't have to worry
about the stuff that uh they're going to
be hearing so let's go in and let's go
check it
[Music]
out brother how are
you how it goes it how's it going
I'm never by myself Hashem is always
with
me bathroom coffee uh I'll take water
and coffee you have real
coffee okay guys I couldn't have you
guys in the whole entire conversation
but I'm here I got some swag I'm coming
with my solos my kids are going to love
me you know I'm usually the guy where
everybody says you know can I take a
picture with you for my kids or whatever
so you know so my I could seem cool so
now that I'm coming home with 24 sixes I
get to be cool cuz my kids already don't
think I'm that cool so anyway I wanted
to ask here because this is the founder
this is The Man Behind the Music I want
to ask you what like how do you have the
courage how did you have the guts what
made you do it what was the what was the
driving force inspiration behind
starting 246 first of all you are cool
so don't listen to your kids you arek
you thank you it was easy in it was an
absolute honor to meet you and to have
an hour with you to talk about music and
hashkafa and it was just incredible
beautiful I'm leaving here more inspired
than what you guys could possibly
imagine by the way me
too we did this because there was just a
need there was my kids wanted iPods and
iPhones to listen to
music we as CLA have to keep to what's
for us
and there's incredibly talented people
making incredible Jewish music present
company included and every other
platform is just dangerous with one
touch of the keyboard with one click you
can be off the reservation in two
seconds right and I didn't want to build
a company that's some cheap low-end
basement thing we spent millions of
dollars and continue to spend to make an
absolutely breathtaking experience but
kosher everything is through
and anybody can filter to customize it
because my taste might be different than
yours and Mya is different and we're all
many you know there are 12 all different
ways and different paths but we all go
One Direction and music is the highest
level in Shay it's the direct path to
the abish to get close to Hashem and it
should be done in a vehicle that's
kosher in a product that's kosher that's
amazing that's for us built by us okay
I'm already sold I'm already sold
I got some swag I'm going to take some
stuff like he said we talked and I'm
leaving here so inspired like in the
first I don't know first five six
minutes or whatever I already had so
much so much like strength I'm walking
out of here with a high and I also take
some swag with me but this has been
amazing so if you don't have the app yet
make sure you download 246 if you don't
have the MP three solos not really MP3s
but the solo 3 that comes from 246 that
specifically has has you know good
kosher music on it kosher uh videos and
different things like that on the app
make sure you go and get it it's just
amazing okay guys so just coming out of
that meeting you guys have no idea how
inspired I was like um just to
see the adversity everything that they
have gone through to make this app a
success and you wouldn't think so
because they're trying to do something
good but whenever you want to do
something good you will have challenges
my Rabbi sh marush told me that whenever
you work to do the good thing the right
thing you're going to have people
encounter you even if it seems like
they're coming from the right place it's
crazy and because of that this brings up
something very very big to me is that
you have to believe in yourself you know
I remember for myself you know when I uh
decided to come back to music to rapping
and all that specifically cuz leaving it
it just really because rapping itself
for being honest is an arrogant sport
you know we even at the best if you get
you know a rapper that's clean usually
somehow would make mention of how much
better they are than the next person
whatever that's just a sport of hip-hop
which is really I felt at the time was
something that was taking me away from
uh humility taking me away from all the
beautiful qualities of what it was and
in the direction that I was growing in
terms of coming close to Hashem and
so what I decided to do was to step away
from it and when I came back it was so
hard for me uh in many different ways
Shalom how you Shalom so was so many
different ways so many different things
that I
decided that I would come back but I
want to make sure I'm doing it right I
want to make sure that I'm doing it with
Hashem and I didn't even think about all
the challenges I would have with the
religious world and all that I just
wanted to be obedient to what I felt
Hashem was calling me to do and so I did
that it's pretty windy out here how you
doing sh and so I did that and I could
tell you that one of the things I've
definitely seen is that when you make it
your business to do what it is that God
has called you to do in your life you
will see
success 100% of the time oh sorry thank
you
and if you don't do that then you will
not see the success that's just a matter
of what it is even if things appear to
be that way I know I've said that before
but it's so important to make sure that
your moves are aligned with God and even
if it seems unconventional to other
people or it seems like it's not the
right thing to do can you imagine
Abraham telling everybody that God told
him to go and to slaughter his
son of course you can't imagine that I
couldn't imagine it how was how was he
getting that over to his friends but but
he was so sure and the end he didn't
but he was so sure that Hashem wanted
him to do that and ultimately he endured
a test that would Elevate him to Heights
that he never would have thought was
imaginable so stick with Hashem do what
Hashem wants you to do go in the
direction Hashem wants you to go and you
will succeed
[Music]
what's up everybody we are in Brooklyn
right now on the way to a show in ground
Heights so I don't come to Brooklyn as
often as I should when we have a show um
today like a Unity Concert I think
coacher deals a few other people on the
on the bill it should be something very
very interesting singers how I don't
come here so much but you know when I
think of Crown Heights I just think
about the rebel think about the lababa
rebel so I think about Mindy's the
restaurant but you know he didn't pay me
to say that I'm just being honest that's
what I think about when I'm in
everything is happening whiskey is
underway um at least the the hustle is
right now this is obviously something
that's become more of a passion project
than I anticipated but uh it's
definitely become a passion project and
very very excited about it but we're
moving everything's happening I feel it
I can see it the electricity is there
okay
look looks as though we made
it oh yeah thank you very much
appreciate you all right you have a good
one take care all right we're going to
go find our room dressing room forgot
where we're supposed to be you guys come
along for the journey yo what's up
everybody I am here backstage it's kind
of Backstage kind of like in somebody's
office in here andon here say hello an
what up what up an says hello kadal says
hello I'm literally in my office
gear yes I I told Coach when he came in
he does not look like a rapper he looks
like he works Silicon Valley he looks
like he you know well that's how much I
get paid nowadays for sure Valley money
you know that's the it's the new show
they pay me they pay me meme
coins you got to get you the milania
coin yeah oh yeah I do need milania coin
I need all those coin I need every coin
basically I'm all about the coin and
meat they only try to give me carbs here
but the seem a
all the meat's gone meat's gone guys I
just I I can't do carnivore diet exactly
and I love people and I know that
technically me
technically cheese is also part of the
carnival no yeah te it came from
animals it's not really part of car
whatever the case is s like going
whatever no no no whatever the case is
what whatever the case is I I eat meat
guys that's what I do I eat salads but I
have been getting into salads salads
have been really been getting into the
salads it's like really good that's one
thing I the mistake I had made when I
lost weight the first time I went only
meat I ate like uh I went straight up
carnivore how much you trying to lose
right now
yeah I'm trying to lose 100 like I was
trying to lose 100 yeah like you lose
100 you'll be famous really like you
lose 50 you'll be fine but if you lose
100 and I'm like part of that Journey
like you know what I'm saying I'm
telling anyone I tell any overweight
artist is like you want to blow up dude
lose the weight bro your Instagram is so
crazy right right you get so much love
either that or get sick and then
everyone will be like flu God forbid we
not sick as I got SI the other day I
barely got sick I said I should have
dropped an album I me
that is pretty funny it's true when you
had Co that's like the most oh my God
like he was in the IC with Co and the
whole like fan base went crazy yeah it
is crazy well listen guys you will know
I will not get sick on
purpose not be a part of the marketing
yeah yeah the weight going that one I
could do but I'm yo-yoing I'm like up
and down up and down up and down cuz
when I when I go trying to lose the same
20 pounds right
it's really crazy I was because I'm also
I got sick and I lost a lot of weight
and I'm trying to be like 175 and I'm
like at 19 190 and I'm just like you
know cuz I come from wrestling I come
from like really learning how to like
really unhealthily losing weight so like
weighing myself every day I don't think
I've been 190 since middle
school I 190 I for sure was well past
200 240 by time I hit High School D so I
was like sixth grade or
something I was a beast on the
field the just flipped the Eminem song
at M and be like You're Gonna Lose It
[Applause]
[Music]
I said as long as he knows when the uh
the music's going to start if he thinks
it's you think it's maybe better from
the behind from behind the crowd right
here I think it's just from back
there yeah so when you do that he's
going to start the intro you just go off
after you introduce me go off cuz it's
like a one minute pump up ladies and
gentlemen without further Ado need some
black black that listen not that look
look you see that you see that yeah I
see that you see bring if you want
what's best for you make sure I stay
away from this if when I bring you back
it's going to be on okay okay me and you
all right let's do it so what I want to
do come here myy Ley come here Ley come
way all right go cheese say cheese

to start the int you after you introduce

[Applause]
[Music]
hey what's up everybody I'm on the way
to the airport finally getting to go
home after 10 days I wouldn't say they
were brutal this was
actually you know I think maybe just
because my last tour was so
intense it felt a little bit more
relaxed but the truth of it is is that
I'm beat by the end of every tour I'm
just wiped out so much like spiritually
physically emotionally mentally and as
much as I trying to you know now make a
conscious effort to make sure that all
of you guys are there with me along the
way it's not always so easy because
can't take you for everything and um
there's so much that you guys actually
miss if I had somebody with me to record
and to take whatever then you guys will
be able to be privy to much more uh than
what you are but uh it can be exhausted
in that's the whole point point that it
could be exhausting physically mentally
emotionally spiritually so it takes me a
few days when I get back home to just
readjust realign myself and to you know
get back into the mode of things but I
enjoy my time here we started in
punana uh we went back from there I
think we had something in New York the
private went to Boston and went to
Dallas and uh came back to New York for
a few gigs um had some meetings some
awesome things um took place here so
hopefully other big news coming very
very soon is that to share my hope but
yes I'm on the way to Israel
JFK flying out hoping to land back home
at 7 in the morning on Friday which is a
of Shabbat so or a of shabas and I can't
wait to see my wife and my kids but one
thing about being on the road you meet
awesome people you know uh that's a big
thing you know was like the like like
our people cuz the amount of love the
amount of uh just hasset that I've been
able to see and I always get to see this
on the road and meeting people you know
uh it's just most beautiful thing but at
the end of the
day the important thing is to be at home
with the m and I cannot wait to get back
I honestly tell you that but thank you
guys for coming on the journey
