Bitachon Podcast 3 - The Path of Trust

you're listening to the third podcast on the subject of Bon the absolute ultimate faith in God that God will provide for all of our needs and we are speaking about the second aspect of the advantage of somebody who has B the first one we said is that all of the questions in life can be answered with B but besides for that the person has an intrinsic Advantage an intrinsic title they're called the and they have the the alter says the second Advantage is that the person has the path of this that the person has a path of trust in God this has a greater value than the fact that it actually will answer all of his questions because he is somebody who intrinsically has the path of trus in God she let's speak about a person who's very powerful he's very strong he can win over anybody he can be victorious the fact that he has that intrinsic ability to be victorious over anybody in a battle is a greater Advantage than the fact that he would make money from that so it's interesting as my rash points out when he read this that today it's hard to relate to the to the analogy that he's giving because um because today we think only about money but there's something intrinsic that the person who's powerful has he's a powerful person because the payoff the the amount that he's going to be paid just is something which testifies to his ability to his advantage to his to his uh great ability this particular instance doesn't take away from him if he gets paid for it doesn't take away from him his ability to be victorious in battle against anyone the advantage remains to him in his Essence and whatever money that a person gets is just something that comes along the way gives her a pair is that there's there was a man named Dr Sarno who has a book about back pain and it demonstrates how the many times the back pain which is a real pain is created by the mind and that pain can be reduced or eliminated through an awareness of what is the reason why the Mind created the pain it's a revolutionary concept it's called psychosomatic illness and Dr Sno so this book Maya read others have read I know people personally who are helped by this method and he explained how once a person has been cured through this method just the fact that the book is in the house if the book is not in the house the person might become fearful because the book reminds the person of his knowledge which is that he knows that through that book through the awareness that's brought about by that book so that person can overcome their back pain and also speaks about just opening just having this book just touching the cover of the Madre just being able to know that it's there and it's available and there's such a thing as and there's such a thing as trusting in God and God will will help a person through every single difficulty through all the question just the ability to know that is what's called and that in and of itself is an amazing thing for a person to have so so too somebody we're going to continue now on the altar so do somebody who who trusts in God besides for the fact that he has Serenity from all of those things that disturb him that boil his blood each moment this is only a payment this is only so to speak the the payment that the the mighty person gets for his might the main thing even greater advantages he has the path of trust in God this is a very important Point here and that is that even if a person for some reason is lacking he's not going to be worried let's say he's he doesn't have the money for something let's say the the money didn't show up that he was waiting for he's looking for a parking spot he can't find a parking spot in Manhattan that won't make the person upset he won't be shaken by it why because he knows that his b always works and even if for some reason at this moment it doesn't seem to be working the D that he has inside of himself makes his his faith unshakable like somebody who has a very large and established business a person like that is not worried he's making millions of dollars in his business let's say one day his business takes a loss he knows that overall businesses go up and down there are days where you have a loss but overall his business makes millions of dollars he's not worried that person is not Disturbed by a loss in this very moment okay so I don't have what I need this moment but I know the N is that I know that I'm going to have what I need always I know that I always have what I need hasm always comes through for me always in the end all I pay my Mash I pay my mortgage I pay my electric bill Etc everything comes through sometimes at the last second sometimes before so to somebody who has the path of of trus in God that person will not be worried even if for a little bit of time he doesn't have what he needs he won't complain at all he will continue to trust in the path which he has seen and it's been proven to him over and over again that it [Music] works it would lead him to that which is good for him in his world what's correct for him personally and for sure in regards to what's going to be in the next World this is what I mentioned last week that a person who is attached to Hashem who's attached to God God is the root of all life the source of all life and God is the root of all success success only comes be go because God gives success so if a person attaches himself directly to God there's nothing to worry about until a person realizes there's no way to do better by attaching myself to do all theas in the world doing all of the efforts finding this person to help me finding that person tell me doing all of the things that a person normally does in order to have success and according to perhaps some some of that and I say carefully some of that should be done but according to MRE Adam and we need to understand the radical sh so we understand how to find some balance for ourselves of course how to apply it for each and every one of us each one of us will find out as we as we try to incorporate B into our lives but the idea is that why go elsewhere why turn turn to a person why look for all of the different things that will help the person when we can go straight to Hashem and say Hashem I trust in you Hashem Hashem is the source of all of all success why I need to look elsewhere okay it's not going to be any better any more than the person who will get it through the path of his trust the way around the person's entire life Spirit by going by trying to to walk on the path of a person gains a deeper connection to hasem that deeper that deeper feel of of of God who's the source of all life happens through his correct path that's the only way that a person will always have all of the answers all of the questions in his life the person who has the path of has everything all the person's days the person is relaxed they have serenity they're not working so hard they're not so confused they're not [Music] overwhelmed they trust in their path which is the path path of life I'd like to share with you a story that happened to one of the listeners and uh to this B podcast I got an email just about a week ago and the email was from someone who's listened to my sh to my podcast my partial podcast for a few years and she had she had sent she sent me an email and she said that she was sending me a thank you email and she had decided to send it when I started the first B podcast because she felt it was high time and this was exactly what she needed to hear she has a coming up a wedding in the making is a is a great Endeavor and has amazing expenses and certainly it's time to work on B to work on our trust in God so she saw that as assign to send me an email she sent an email to Tor anytime which is one of the places where we put up this podcast and she didn't hear back from them they didn't respond and tell give her my email and she had that somehow without continuing without any somehow she would get my email and indeed in the second podcast as you may recall I gave my email AR goldwag gmail.com so she was able to write to me immediately because of her I gave out my email and uh so it works and it works quickly it just requires a simple simple a trust in God and I would add that it requires not just an intellectual understanding of it because this is something that perhaps we can intellectually hear but we need to hear the stories we need to hear about people who have done this and succeeded we need to hear about the people who have Acquired and hopefully I hope to share with you stories of people who I've heard firsthand from about how their has created literally miracles in their lives and I'd like to read on a little bit this is something that the navi doubles and says this is why the navi says it in a double language blessed is the one who trusts in God what's the first thing as we said he's blessed in all the questions of his life he will get everything that he needs without too much work without too much effort he is assured in his physical life and spiritual life that by not it's very interesting because is that don't do don't put in effort why because when I put in effort I run a great risk because when I put in effort I can fall there's a loss which is inherent when I do effort I don't have to be afraid of anything happening to me at all why because if I don't do is if I don't put in too much effort but rather I trust in God so then I know where my help is coming from it's very clear it's coming from God in a miraculous way sometimes sometimes God covers it because we have to have we have to have free will free choice but the idea is to the extent that I put in hisas if I put in especially too much his too much efforts so then I come to believe that it's because of me that it's working I get my parosa from me from my efforts Etc it's the the altar encourages us to to do no efforts and if a person is not holding on that level but at least to do less efforts to to develop the awareness inside of ourselves the understanding that it's not us but the main thing is he has on whom to rely a person you know think about it let's say a person is famous a person is a famous singer a famous whatever it is a famous person a famous Rabbi the fact that a person might make money from singing or make money from speaking in public whatever it is that's not the advantage the advantage is that person is famous or that person is a great Rabbi or a great singer we can understand that it's intrinsically something and it's true in regards as we said already but I just want to bring home that point to to bring it across our heart this is something that's intrinsic a person who has that ability is the person who's they trust in God God is eternal therefore the person who has trust in God has something which is eternal it will never it will never be lost it will never be nullified ever because this type of path somebody who goes in this way who doesn't matter what's going on in the world the person will always be able to be calm even if the M the the mighty mountains are are exploding around him doesn't matter what's going on there could be Wars going on around a person person doesn't doesn't fall from it the alar of naric it was known that that uh one time he was saying havdala he was saying the the prayer at the end of shabas and there were all of a sudden there was bullets flying everywhere everyone dro to the ground and he did not waver the the cup in his hand the the havdalah the there was no nothing was spilled from the wine in the cup because he had such a perfect trust in God he knew that every bullet has an address and he knew that his trust in God meant that nothing could happen to him nothing can change anything in the world if it's meant to be it's meant to be and the trust that a person has in God enables him to go without fear and so I just that's the end of the podcast I want to mention once again we've had some
