Bikur Cholim Charidy Campaign

it's really an honor Mike that you came to join us this evening to be here this is really after a very very exciting afternoon B jumped into a project and we started a campaign just a short six and a half hours ago and uh barem thank God over the past 6 and a half hours we accomplished to raise already $220,000 that came in um most of these donations came in from small money in the Community people that went and donated online people that called in and people that contacted our volunteers over the next um 18 hours or we hope it's going to be a lot less than that we have to reach our goal of 300,000 $300,000 the way how this campaign works as you can see for every dollar a member of the community um donates towards bolum we have three donors that have been gracefully donated to quadruple any donation that comes uh the gly family they're the founders of Bol and have been always very helpful to us Leo rehab and Dr leitz and Mr chac from uh Specialty Hospital I know yes yes they've all they've all gone out and they're they're really um they really they really want to see if we can um get the rest of the town to quadruple and bring in the remaining amount as you can see we have 17 hours and 24 minutes and uh we're really hoping over the next couple hours I'm going to wrap up this campaign how many people actually know what you do what what I mean I was dumbfounded when I saw what you have here and what you do and and how you have so much equipment and space to put people up if if their families have problems I I was just totally amazed um I've been in Emergency Management now for over 50 years and I've seen a lot of good organizations and this town has a lot of good organizations but I mean I'm just dumbfounded and uh I think everyone should help out I think they should know what you do a lot of people don't know until something happens and then all of a sudden the light bulb goes on but they have to realize that all this equipment has to come from somewhere has to be somebody has to be paid so I'm telling you all out there you really should get on the bandwagon because you really don't know what this organization does www . charity.com c h a r i d y.com slbc L Beaker liid and I want to tell you something and this is this is the truth I never have a checkbook my wife handles the one camera checkbook so I said to my wife I'm going out the door give me your checkbook she looks at me she goes what I said I need a checkbook okay so
