This is how you do a trade show and business conference

I'm in the airport of New Jersey on my way back to Panama I was here for a business conference for the past few days the first night of the business conference was absolutely terrible and miserable I called my wife on the phone I said I'm sorry I came here I wasted my time I wasted my money I wasted my energy I shouldn't have come to this conference the next day was the most banging day that I've ever experienced at a conference here in New York the thing was packed the thing was rocking the thing was rolling we met so many great prospects so many great leads and I know some people come to um conferences to make connections and connections are nice don't get me wrong but you have to turn those connections into money we don't come to conferences to make friends we come to conferences to make money that is the operative word when you come to these events the rest of the time that I was in New York I spent meeting clients and potential clients for that matter in their office in person while I'm here I want to compress time I want to use as much of my time that I have here here to meet clients in person when I go to their office they see that I'm serious I know that they're serious they appreciate that I put in that time that I made that commitment to go see them and pressing flesh is so much more powerful than going on Zoom or going on all these other platforms because they see that you're in person and you're there in their corner so this trip thank God was a success I've been on many trips by the way that have not been a success and I'll fill you in when those happen but you got to get on the road you got to get in an airport you got to get on a plane you got to hit the ground running because that's where the magic happens every now and then you got to get out of the office and you're going to go meet the people and look at them straight in the face and say I want your business
