you are about to step into the barrel Solomon podcast show no fluff talking about greatness talking about wealth talking about how to become the number-one man or woman in your space let's roll for real Jewish businessman the homie Solomon nobody was solid when the errbody fallen for real Jewish businessman good morning like that [Applause] your boy big V hope y'all had a great great weekend I know that I did had a wonderful time with the family with the wife with the kids beautiful the Sabbath oh what a blessing all right we're here back in action in the studio this morning with you to start your week off fresh with energy so we start to kill it rock it rock and roll here we go I would like to thank our contributors I'm just gonna jump right into it I have a question here from this actually my favorite question that I ever got from Steven Lee Rachel he asks do you use prayer to help you achieve success in business slash life if so please explain your perspective on it thank you and have a great new week thank you so much mr. Rachel I appreciate it I gotta let you know this is factual you could ask my key salesman elias Makris before we go into every single meeting we do I stopped before we walk in the door and I say God please give us a blessing every single time and every single time we crack out a deal and I walk out I say the same thing I look at the sky and I say thank you God I remember in my old business in my family business one time I made a huge deal is actually the biggest deal of the entire history of the company and I after I got off the phone and I rang the bell I said thank God and I remember the salesman sitting next to me says I'm understand why do you always thank God I don't get it I said because he's the one that gave me the deal he said yeah but you did all the legwork I said yeah but he gave me the legs and that's straight-up why I do what I do because at the end of the day God gives all the blessings you know there's times when it gets tough there's times when I'm hustling and hustling and hustling and it just seems like nothing is happening and I'm down on myself because I'm cranking and I'm not making these deals and and and and and the bills are stacking up and everything is in my stacking gates my odds and I can't figure out how I'm gonna make it happen and in those moments I literally stopped the car pull over to the side of the road and a J say you know what I am here to do my best I am here to try my best and everything else is up to God if he wants me to succeed I'm gonna succeed and I trust in that I'm gonna succeed so I'm just gonna go into my office I'm gonna do my thing I'm gonna spit my game and if he chooses me to be successful let it be and if not that's also good because he also knows what's best but I trust him that things were going to be good because he is good and he's gonna make it good and every time that I've done that ladies and gentlemen every damn time it is happened that things have gone way way better than I could have ever expected you know we're limited as human beings were limited creatures the size that I want you to picture something for one quick second ladies gentlemen okay check this out I want you to picture the the world how big it is how great it is how vast it is you ever see an ocean wow it's huge have you ever been on a plane and you're able to get a vantage point in the entire world not from the perspective on this on the ground how much bigger the world looks have you ever now seen the world from the satellites from Hubble and how big the world looks the curvature of the earth now zoom out to the Stars how many stars how far how big the galaxy is the world the universe that God created is so big is so vast now picture the size of your brain is about eight inches in diameter that little tiny brain that is inside of your skull that little grey mushy thing yes ladies and gentlemen cannot comprehend how big God is how capable he is and how big the world is so when you put aside your own thoughts and your own preconceived notions and you say you know what there's something bigger than me there's something greater than me when you put your hands in that when you trust that you see that he then takes you and he with the capital H he takes you above nature he takes you above the world and that's the rules and that's the plane that I like to play on so Steven Lee Rachel I hope that answers your question the answer is yes I absolutely pray before every single meeting that I get into and I pray after every meeting that I leave thank you very much for the question all right next candy Mandel what one single event in your life that you have a memory of major the person you are today or helped you to be the one you are today the biggest monumental moment in my life that I can remember that shaped me that actually goes along with the theme of the previous question is when I was 19 years old 20 years old actually some of you might know this I was actually making a reality show about myself about a company that I owned called more to life entertainment what we did was we brought celebrities into Montreal the most notable celebrity that we ever brought was Drake I was the first white boy to bring Drake to Montreal to bring him as a promoter I paid four grand he came my brother came on a Greyhound bus all right now it cost 300 grand to sneeze at your cousin's Bar Mitzvah but I got him for 4 grand brought him to Montreal BAM and I filmed the whole thing and I filmed any time where celebrities I filmed it and I made a reality show called more to life and I aired it on a at a night club one night with hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people in attendance I was going to bring it to to MTV to vh1 to MuchMusic I was gonna bring it to all the networks and it was actually really really cool but when it aired that night and I saw myself on the screen all that episode and all that show stood for was drugs sex and rock and roll and when I saw myself on that screen I said to myself there's no way no way that I'm gonna live the rest of my life trying to be like that guy on the screen and I said to myself right then and there that I have to live I have to figure out a different way to live I never went back to the Club business I never went back into that Club I stopped dealing drugs I stalked all the junk that I was into and I started to look for a better way to live my life and naturally I was blessed that God brought me back and brought me back to my Jewish roots and he and he took care of me and schlepped me out of that that garbage so that's really the one one defining moments in my life that really changed me at the height of my career at the height of everything that I was at I crashed and I came back to the good way to the good path and now I'm able to use by the way it's not like I became like some little you know quiet guy hiding in the corner and and no I'm able to use all of my talents that I had before but now they're amplified for good because God is infused and everything that I do at least I try to bring him in to everything I do I remember one time I is a little off topic but I remember I met Run DMC who later became a reverend he became Reverend and I remember I said to him hey hey Rev Run I love that you brought God into the picture you know cuz you went from a rapper to like a reverend and he said to me he looked at me like what white boy he said I brought God into the picture God brought me into the picture and I was like wow I love that so that's the one defining moment I would say kennyman Kenny Mendell think of that question alright next alright last question of the podcast Konstantinos a veliotis I hope I got that right how can you leverage one of the highest growing social platforms ie LinkedIn to get your marketing message omnipresent in you're falling base obviously videos will consist of the majority of online content but we need a strategy filled with consistency and a model that entrepreneurs and executives can implement in their social media strategies so I'm playing English what strategies could people implement on LinkedIn to get omnipresence it's very clear I shout this from the rooftops ladies and gentlemen the now and by the way this goes with the theme so far so I love it God provides you with the greatest story of all time and it is called your life whatever happens to you is incredibly interesting and you have to document that process when business is good talk about it brag about it when business is bad talk about it let people know that you're a human being whenever is going on in your business you ought to let people know because that is an incredible incredible incredible story every wind that we have I try to share every loss we have I try to share every emotion people like realism people don't want to see a perfect guy talking from a stage and everything's always perfect and he's so crystal and cut and and and everything's going well and he's making money and even that guy by the way anybody that you know and whoever is your hero whether it's Martin Luther King whether it's Donald Trump whether it's gone whoever it is whether it's little babaca Rebbe whoever it is at one point in their life they had they had a dark moment that a hard moment people want to see what is going on lift up the veil the old way of doing business where everything was perfect and everything was behind the cloud and and you had to go to your marketing department to get something approved that day those days are over man those days are over and you know who's losing right now the banks are losing because it's so hard to get a message out the insurance companies are losing it's so hard to get their message out anyways guys thank you for your time
