I Can’t Believe I Just Gave $36,000 To Charity!

I'm sitting here with a very special friend rabbi lady Raskin he is the Slayer of Chabad of côte saint-luc I've been volunteering with robber askin for five years we go every single day to my old high school Bialik high school we run a beautiful minion there every single day it's been an incredible experience Thank You rabbi for letting me be part of it and this time twelve months ago rabbi Raskin came to see me in my office and I want you two to share this story with the people being a partner with you in many levels is very special that you add in the work that we do together barrel of volunteers from his time from his wisdom and from his money to our institution so he made a pledge in the Rosh Hashanah of 2016 and who came to September 2017 which was the eve of the Jewish New Year I met with barrel and I knew they need just started a new business and for him to be able to do what he did in the previous year and we need a lot of blessings that he would be able to give the same amount that he gave in the previous year at the same time instead of asking for less we asked you for double Q believe these guys we asked him for double we asked him for 36,000 and Beryl got very emotional I myself got very emotional he said I'm gonna do it I'm doing it because they believe that God is going to bless me was the possibility of giving that money when they asked me for that money and I had nothing I was like two or three guys at that point right I had nothing going on I had a dream and a vision and that was it and in that moment when they asked me for it I have to tell you it's like the entire room froze in time the two rabbi sitting in front of my desk Ike had completely removed from the world it was just me and God and at that moment something came over me and said this is okay and this is right and when I came ahead of my out of my moment I see the rabbi and his father sitting next to each other and he said okay I'll do it I tell you that we're sitting here twelve months later thank God just about to write the last check to fulfill that pledge and it's been an incredible experience that I've seen God's hand directly involved in my business 100% whatever it is you give God is gonna give you back ten times I've seen that witness at a hundred percent in this business day in and day out so here's what I want to ask everybody that's watching this stop watching this call your local community leader pledge whatever you're going to do for this year and don't be scared because whatever you do you're going to be able to give and you're going to be able to have even more to give so thank you so much for the opportunity let's make our communities great again don't be shy don't be scared and Rabbi it's time to drag the last check Mazel Tov [Music]
