I am having cash flow problems, so what?

cash flow it is a you business owners and nightmare and I'm not afraid to admit that we have cash flow problems whoo sue me that's like saying to a baby you're in trouble because you're throwing up that's what happens in startups all right especially in a startup that is growing at the rate that we're growing at when I see Talent I hire it when I see new product in the market I go after it when I see opportunity I pounce I don't care about my cash flow cash flow will come I get a call today from my secretary and she is freaking out it just has to be barrel I have bad news I said oh my gosh what is it did the office burdened down like what what happened she said we are we may not we may not cover this wheel it doesn't look like we have enough to cover and I said don't worry about it laughter you're so nervous about will cover send me a list of the three projects that were closest to finishing on I will call my clients who I consider to do my friends because we help each other grow our businesses if you worry about it I'll take care of it I've gone on the phone and I caught my first client and I said listen you were 99 for some ducks percent on your video I'm waiting on a very very small piece happens to be from actually you guys are waiting for you guys to get back to the boats on do you think that you might be able to advance us the portion that you're owed to us before we finish the video if you want you could hold a little part back to the payment no problem he said Baro why are you tight I said no I'm not tight I'm choking yes I absolutely need it he said don't worry about it I've been there man I know how it is don't worry about I'm not gonna hold a little piece I'm gonna get the full thing to you why am I telling you this story everybody will call me Darryl you're crazy you shouldn't tell people about your cashflow problems you don't want to seem like you're a business that's not stable guess what we're not we're gonna business for a year and a half it's okay I'm not scared that there's one business owner one guy one account to one CFO one president one entrepreneur that sees this video and he says wow there's other people like me going through the same struggles then the whole thing was worth it the last thing I want to tell you about this whole cash flow thing cash flow should not be a reason not to expand your business when I make decisions the last thing that I look at is cash flow when I go to build a new product when I go to hire a new person to run a new division my company if I looked at cash flow I would be the only guy that was sitting in my office doing any work but a certain magic happens when you hire people your cash actually expands I have a friend and he's been in business for about six seven years I say hey buddy how's business he says it's great on my burn rate is too is too high meaning he's spending too much money I said a burn rate is too high Nepal is not your burn rate the problem is your profits the problem is our sales yes right now my cash flow is tight because I fired 13 people over the course of 13 months and were expanding every single day but with those 13 people last year I trimmed out half a million dollars this year with God's help I'm gonna be able to bang out 5 million dollars with the same amount of people so yes I'm temporarily in trouble I'm temporarily choking I'm temporarily starving but I'm not stressing about it I'm not gonna let it destroy me I'm not gonna let it take it over and I'm not going to let it stop me from expanding you yes you if you need to expand your business do not worry about cash flow because it should not be a deciding factor god bless let's make America great again watch this rocket take off into the sky baby you're watching the rise of a legend I hope you enjoy
