How to pivot your business/career in Covid-19

just because everybody's lost their job or businesses have gone completely under does not mean that you have to go with the tide I know it's very popular right now for everyone to say what happened to everybody and that's sort of their excuse for not thinking figuring out their next move when I used to be in school and I would fail an exam and the rest of the class also didn't do well I would tell my parents that hey you know the rest of the class didn't do well either my parents have always tell me I don't care what the rest of the class did I care what you did alright and that's how you have to look at this right now yes everybody is in a hard position but it doesn't give you or anybody else around you free rein to decision lose responsibility and just give up and just sort of wait for this whole thing to blow over this is not gonna blow over ladies and gentlemen we're going to be in this for months and ones and months and you got to figure out how to pin it let me tell you how I'm personally pivoting and sure to give you some ideas as well as you know we're in the nursing home business where we we film nursing homes and they take those films and take them to the hospitals I cannot film nursing homes today you can't go in one so what we've begun to do is we've asked our nursing home partners to send us videos from the nursing home that they're taking on their phones of how they're dealing with the köppen crisis we take those when we edit them and we send it back to them for social media by the way we're doing that for free just to stay relevant in that business so when this whole thing does blow over three six nine twelve months we're going to be relevant and we're going to be heroes because we supported our partners when they needed it vice versa those nursing homes need cleaning supplies products taking disinfectants they mask they need hand sanitizers they need all kinds of things are now they're in need so by staying relevant and helping them handle their marketing and a bit for free we're now opening up doors to sell other products that they actually really need I just got off the phone with my father he's in the metal recycling business they have an infrastructure to make make big trains and big transactions they have to change I spoke to my father this morning they say dad you have to change fatality you are not a metal recycling company anymore you are now a commodity trading company because nobody's manufacturing automobiles nobody's manufacturing Planes Trains this construction is slowing down like crazy and metal is in much less demand but he has tremendous know-how in how to trade commodities I have one friend who is in the petroleum business they saw ethanol they've changed their business to start selling rice they have the infrastructure they have the shipping they have the financing to have all those things but they have to see what does the world need right now it doesn't matter what you did it matters what you're going to do right so if you're illegal you know if you're a law firm you want to figure out how to help you got to shift your whole law practice to figure out how to help companies out of bankruptcy if you are a restaurant you've seen this very nicely right now now they're shifting all into delivery mode whatever it is that you know or what you used to do you don't have to change that idea to the new world and figure out how could I apply my skills to help planet earth get through Kovan 19 it's not enough ladies and gentlemen do not cross your arms and look at your watch and hope for this thing to pass because this is the new world and you got to adapt and you're able to adapt because companies are doing this there's a tremendous amount of opportunity out there there's a tremendous amount of money out there just have to be creative in the way that you were going about it I hope this brought you success and remember always that nothing in this world is bad everything comes to one above pray to Him connect to him and that is where the success comes from please reach out to me if you need help I'm here to help you guys I love you dearly for now I've got to get back to work we're in overdrive baby
